Just Cavalli Him

I suppose depending on how much you spend, that's going to affect your opinion of this. A lot of earlier reviews seem to dislike this strongly, due to a higher price, but over the years, it has been discounted further and further, and at its current price, is pretty acceptable, but would still wait for it to be cheaper. It should be a cheap and cheerful perfume with its cliche Lynx group of aromas... zesty, spicy and earthy enough to cover up an afternoon's worth of BO. Can be worn all year round, mostly during the day if going to the gym or at work. As an adult, I wouldn't wear this for a date, special occasion or job interview. I'd take this on holiday and not really worry about it getting lost, stolen or damaged, or would suggest it as a gift to a younger cousin, nephew, grandson or a friend's son who maybe hasn't got a perfume collection just yet. Summary: Great as a first cologne for a teenage lad who hasn't got a perfume yet. Blends nicely with deodorants. Would wear any time of year, during the day. If an adult, not for evenings or special occasions.

Only 3 ingredients, really? I'm sure I can smell amber, and iris. Anyway, regardless of the claimed number of ingredients this is very nice. First poof of the spray and yes, I do get what some reviewers are on about. Adidas Ice Dive shower gel, or a fair few other Lynx/Axe products, but this only lasts about a minute. Then you get a lovely sweet leather smell, with a hint of sweet iris. The vetiver is not harsh, in fact I'd say there's more of an amber vibe here than vetiver. I remember reviewing David Beckham Classic and trying to pull apart the particular woodsy and amber smells in that one. Just Cavalli doesn't smell like David Beckham Classic but it certainly shares that amber and Texas cedar warmth; especially in the drydown. Longevity is about 5 hours at best, and that's with 3 sprays to the neck. Sillage only moderate within the first hour. In summary I really like this. Nope I love it. It's sweet, slightly powdery, warm and comforting.

fresh blue and subtle are words best used to describe this fragrance ive read some reviews by people claiming this smells like lynx/axe and tare right it does have that vibe to it only a more solid well built vibe its not ground breaking in any way but is worth a try not everyone is going to love or even like this but the market has been crying out for fresher lighter scents post one million and i think this along with hugo red and blue de male by jpg have filled this void quite well with there releases this year longivety on this is around six hours projections is acceptable try before you buy overall 7/10

Have no idea why this frag is rated so low, but personally i absolutely love it! When i dont know what frag to use for a night out, i go with this one. Smells spicy (pimento) and woody at the same time. Its simple, masculine and warming. I was trying to catch a whiff of this frag while wearing all the time. Absolute beast!

I was a bit wary about getting this fragrance after seeing so many negative reviews about it. Totally unjustified in my opinion. It's actually very nice! The fragrance is very very similar to Emporio Armani Lui which I also own and at half the price of the Armani, it's a no-brainer.

Well...just tried it today...and i can say i love the smell. Price was good...really looking forward to buying it. If longevity is good...i think it's worth the money. I was set on the one from d&g but this made me very curious. I think i am going to buy it after the one.

Hi. I have this perfume and notes is a bit more: opens with orange and pimento (good combination),then comes the vetiver accompanied by sweetness of orange. In the dry down the leather is flanked by tonka bean.

I love this one and, on me, the performance is great! Longevity is great and also is the projection. Sea breeze on roids!! Love it. One of the best aquatic scents around, don ́t understand all the hate really.

Just apply today .... its nice Woody Leather Fragrance .... after 5 hours still can feel on skin

This was my first "proper" cologne when I was 16 years old, and for that reason it will forever be a nostalgic favourite. Does it smell like a shower gel or a deodorant you'd smell in the boys' changing room after football practice? Yes, but it actually has decent depth and the quality is of course on another level compared to Ice Dive - the price/performance ratio is great on this imo, you can find a 90ml for €25 easily and the scent, although objectively generic, does NOT smell cheap. Generally an inoffensive people pleaser, doesn't stand out, but smells nice. If you're looking for a fragrance to gift to a male teenage relative, consider this. My personal opinion is that this very much fits the description of "how a younger teenage boy should smell", this smells like the first cologne you use before you get your bottle of Fierce/Cool Water when you're 18. I'd actually prefer this to Cool Water as the current formulation is pretty synthetic, Cavalli smells more natural. The snakeskin pattern strip on the cap is awesomely tacky, love it.

One of my first ever colognes, it was something I wore even during my last 2 years of highschool. There was something different about this one, it was fresh, in its own light compared to a full can of axe being sprayed in the change room, sometimes two. It was very Masculine, though I never really thought about that stuff during my highschool years; the leathery, warm woody feel - it was sorta mature, for a fragrance back then of course, and for how cheap it was. I find myself never reaching for it since my collection has grown enormously from back then. I think it's just a bottle I look at and smile from the memories I've obtained with this fragrance. You can definitely use this in an office setting if you'd like. It doesn't attack your nose. Casual hangout with the old group. Again, I don't think I'd ever reach for this fragrance, but that's just me.

I reviewed this some ago and I thought it was pretty average and underwhelming. But I bought a bottle recently when it was heavily discounted and I am enjoying it a lot. It's clearly more complex than just a three-note fragrance but the chilli, vetiver and leather are the most obvious. The leather is subtle and it's much more like a suede than leather. Just Men can be filed under Invictus, Jimmy Choo, Eros, Lagerfeld Him and now Azzaro Wanted but I prefer it to all of those. It has a little bit more character. Now I know that's not saying much but I'm still very glad I picked this one up.

My very first fragrance I got when I had no clue what I was doing. The Scent appeals to a much younger audience, I could see people wearing this fragrance at a teen disco. The leather matches well with the pimento and creates a very masculine warm spicy note performance is Average with enough sprays you could be very noticed. Projects well enough for the first 2 hours or so but quickly becomes an intimate skin scent. cheap so for any younger guys reading this you might aswell pick up. 6.5 /10

Smelled it yesterday. Good spicy opening but like many other fragrances in the market today, generic. After 15 minutes max, the leather starts to appear and it takes over as the dominant note. Like Dior Hommer, like Armani's Eau de Nuit, and many others, the smell is the same. I say this again: I don't know what people see, in a man smelling like a leather couch, I can't even imagine a women tell that I smell good with that note. At least the bottle is really beautiful

Can't believe how much hate there is for this fragrance. It's not one for the frag heads but Come on guys...It's okay. It smelled better when I first tried it sure. Generic yes... uninspiring yes... I don't accept it being perceived as feminine it's not butch by any means but it's a male fragrance through n through. I've got it on today and it is a bit like lynx or something but it's ideal for everyday use or after the gym or something?

Pepper and leather, it is simple but works very well. People hate on this just because they don't like the brand Roberto Cavalli. Reminds a little of the super cheap Adidas Ice Dive, but unlike that one, Just Cavalli Him is not embarassing to wear and it lasts about 4-5 hours which is ok for the price. If you're on a budget and you want an attention grabber to apply throughout the day, this may be for you

Saw a stand with a lady spraying this on people in the shopping mall and avoided it on a judging a book by its cover basis...I didn't like the bottle. I never normally do that and give all fragrances a chance in the end. Tried this, Weirdly I liked it. Quite generic but very masculine leathery and spicy...simple composition but inoffensive I thought...I might get it, when it's marked down?

I bought this today and got home to read the reviews expecting it to be mostly 'liked' i was shocked at the hate towards it so decided to create an account to add my thoughts. Firstly this smells woody and musky in my opinion,it smells like montblanc legend on the drydown,i don't regret buying it one bit,if you like af fierce or mb legend and it's cheap, go for it

I find this fragrance pleasing. It's fresh and comforting with an added warmth. The leather note provides a comforting aura, along with the vetiver. All together it leaves me with this sweet warm dry down that I can stop sniffing. All in all, it's a nice fragrance. Quite pleasant and inoffensive. I enjoy smelling it. I can't really fault it.

Simple ingredient list, which unfortunately does nothing but add to the burgeoning warm spicy / woody section in department stores. I mean, technically, I should love this, as I'm a big vetiver and leather fan. It's well blended, with moderate sillage and longevity, but there's just really nothing here to stimulate the senses.

I dont understand the hate from some people on this fragance!! It's a realy close to Mont Blanc legend Intense!! Great longevity and progection!! I pretty sure that most of the people here just vote whit out try the fragances!! If the see a note that dont like inmediately press the dislike button!!!

Tried this yesterday, sprayed a little on my wrist, i couldnt work out where i had smelled it before, then after i had been to the gym & had a shower i used Lynx apollo body spray...... Thats where i had smelled it before, Its more or less the same scent, try it and see....

I purchased this one to use to work everyday. I tried it whilst cycling, once it heats up it gets quite peppery. Its definitely more fresh than the notes would have you believe. Get about 5 to 7 hours of wear out of it with arms length projection in the first 2 hours.

This is a nice sweet leather. Soft and sensual with good sillage. Not spicy or earthy at all. It’s a pleasant fragrance for cold evenings, good for dates. Many leather scents smell mature, but this one is ok for young men too. Final note: 8/10

A pleasing, sweet, musky/peppery juice. Longevity and silage are both good. Easy to wear anytime really. It reminds me of Boss Elements Aqua a little. Yes, Just Cavalli is a definite love from me - it's very nice. I'm buying another bottle

This is like xeryus rouge in terms of pimento domination, but in overall scent, overall quality, Xeryus rouge is the clear winner. However, I really like pimento so I like this scent... Pretty basic and straightforward! 6.5/10!

At first I regretted buying a bottle of it, because it smells like the cheap aerosol deos the teen boys are using. But later I realized that it's not bad to smell like that sometimes, especially in a much better quality format.

This really smell's good, but projection and longivity are weak. If the performance was good enough maybe it will take high rate and get hyped by the fragrance community. Even with the weak performance, still good scent. 6.5/10

A very reminiscent scent for me when i was young 12-13 ish so yeah it really does appeal for younger people barely any spice from what i remember? Good versatile and a safe option performance is barely there.

This is Jimmy Choo for Men but with chilli. Nothing remarkable. Disappointing after the new Cavalli women's scents which are pretty nice.

An update.....this is so nice and it's really grown on me. I'm going to buy another bottle. A versatile and lovely perfume.

Smells fresh and spicy-woody. Feels casual yet polished — like stepping out feeling cool and collected.

wearing this today, its an office scent through and through. Really simple and lasts a while. This one to me is nothing special but it just does the job. The leather note is a very soft leathery one, like suede. Its quite cheap but i actually reckon its a bit overpriced. Bottle is amazing too.

Smells like a very short lived and flat version of Abercrombie Fierce from the 2000’s. Honestly it’s a disappointing waste of my money at $30. Sprayed 4 times onto a 100% cotton flannel shirt and the smell completely disappeared within two hours. 4/10

This fragrance is a put off for me! Maybe I was wearing it in the wrong season or with wrong clothes! The smell was very ok ish , it doesn’t last long at all

i bought this unintendedly at a local mall. at first i kinda like it because i thought the smell was familiar it reminds me to someone/something. i bought this before i knew fragrantica only to realize how much people hate hate this perfume base on the dislike bar. and then i realize i hate it too. and i just only used it about 3%. what should i do with the rest of 97%? so i said to myself, why not try to spray in the car? and voila! it suits well as a car perfume. hehe by the way keshwennair, im from malaysia. did u smell it as i pass beside you? :((((

This is not a serious fragrance that one would expect from the house of Cavalli. It's rather generic and juvenile without much going on. It lacks any depth, presence and maturity. Even at $13 on clearance it goes for at Marshalls, I don't feel like I should get a bottle.

Very strong opening, the same scent continues all the way in dry down, only less strong. I'm not getting pimento at all, only some interesting synthetic smell. Quite linear frag, not very bad, I'd buy it but it should be much cheaper . Should be sprayed from the distance

Very mediocre and pointless. I'm not criticising the fact that this one doesn't stand out of the crowd - sometimes you need a scent that it is not too intrusive. But if you are looking for a fragrance like that, there are far better ones available. **

Recent Cavalli for femme are really nice, but Roberto, how come this is not as nice? Wanted to love it, but in my opinion , it is hmmmm not good to say the least. Disappointed

Just Cavalli for Him...just not for me. I can only imagine a flea market knock off of A & F Fierce or Mont Blanc Legend would smell like this. Pass.
