Audace Pour Femme

Mine is a 100 ml splash bottle EdT. There’s nothing audacious about this incredibly tasteful, subtle and gorgeous perfume. There was a luxury goods campaign in the 80s that said something like “money talks, wealth whispers” That’s Audace. It’s very well blended. I got hyacinth at the top (obviously, that’s not on the list, so IDK which floral is showing up that way) nice mellow woods, and then about 25 minutes in I get mountain air piney woods. I also get lavender, which is not listed here. It makes you feel like you’re on a hike, the way Sierra does, but much more genteelly. I think this could really work on a man. By today’s standards this is unisex. So far, I love all of the vintage Rochas perfumes.

Just gorgeous. Opens with bergamot, pine and galbanum. Juniper, rose, carnation heart on oakmoss and amber. As the aromatic pine and juniper mellow it becomes very, very lightly violet/iris powdery, velvety rich from the amber and deeply mossy. This is a walk through a lush forest right before sundown. Longevity is good for a 40 year old scent for both pdt and parfum, sillage is close with the parfum, moderate with the parfum de toilette. I can't believe I almost made it through a whole lifetime without smelling a Rochas perfume. Audace, Femme, Madame Rochas and Byzance are some truly impressive fragrances. I give this a 9/10.

Well, I was surprised to find this scent here, as I had assumed it was dropped back in the 70's, which was when I used to wear it when I was in college. I remember loving it's green, woody fresh quality and it perfectly expressed the kind of optimism and sense of adventure there was in my life then. Takes me right back to a certain time and place. Yve Roche's "Evidence" is a little like this.

Ohhhh XSX!!! I looooove Audace by Rochas!!! It is SUCH a masterpiece!!! It resembles Madame Rochas very much, only a tad greener. The green twin sister of Madame!!! LOVE IT!!

Wonderful! Green but with great combination of violet and Iris which makes it smell like makeup.
