Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil

I looove this perfume so much! It is such an easy reach for me when I want something that smells nice but isn't too complicated. I've worn it all year round, but it can be especially nice during summer. To me, it smells like the word "clean". It is really refreshing, definitely smells like lemon and laundry detergent. My mother always compliments me when I wear it! (For reference, she only likes floral perfumes.) The only other kind of "feedback" I've ever got for it, aside from my mother's, is from two students at college who walked into the classroom where I was and somehow smelled my perfume in the air, and one of them said, and I quote: "Someone did laundry." (I was mildly embarrassed but hey, at least laundry smells nice!) Just like Rochas "Orange Horizon", the staying power on clothes is insane, I can still smell it on some of my freshly washed tops (and I use a scented detergent!)

It is a marine and sunny summer eau. It opens fresh and cheerful, then appears the neroli and a salty note that last long enough, but it is more like a skin scent than a perfume. It reminds me of the scent of the skin coated with sunscreen that dries under the sun after a long bath in the Mediterranean sea. It evokes my best summers and an atmosphere of marine well-being. It was love at the first spray.

Simple, lemon smell, but at the same time so lovely and fresh. I sprayed this on a hot day and i felt like i could breathe again! Simple, clean and fresh! Nothing more to ask for, on a hot summer day!

accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do; a delightful lemon surprise. unquestionably Lemon in lieu of a vague citrus. zest is very potent here, it smells fresh and almost soapy, a very very clean summer scent. absolutely refreshing and an instant classic. will be recommending to people beyond a doubt.

the opening smells like an actual lemon, bit of bitterness, sourness but also drop of sweetness. evaporates almost immediately, but those 10 minutes while it lasts are great!

Chopard Happy Lemon is a dupe for this one.

It's okay. Tested it in a store, and it's not bad, but also didn't win me over. The drydown is very powdery, and overall the scent isn't as refreshing and juicy as I hoped it would be based on the notes.

Horrible opening, like cheap lemon cologne. Drydown is much better but to me it has too much old lady vibes.

I found it somewhat dry and simple. Although it is a cologne that smells good and lasts well for a citrus perfume, there are cheaper options that I like better. It starts very citrusy, perfectly distinguishing that we are facing a note of lemon, and dries more floral and musky. It lacks the slight sweetness that other compositions have and that makes them more enjoyable for me. It has a moderate sillage that tends later to be soft and lasts about 5-6 hours. I heard this is similar to the discontinued Loius Vuitton " Sun Song" ,can anyone here confirm if this is fact or fan fiction?I had " Sun Song" but I used the final blasts earlier this Summer.While I liked it, it never did have good longevity on me, Afternoon Swim and I daresay Imagination have stolen my heart ,I'm still working on getting a full bottle of Imagination ,so the reviews mentioning solid longevity ,really make me happy.Hopefully it comes Stateside or imma have to make a European fragrance haul.

This lasts 48 hours on my skin! No joke! And my skin tends to "eat" perfumes in general. I am not sure whether this is unisex. I'd still say that leans feminine, and not sure whether it leans too feminine. It is not unique, I just cannot recall the fragrance it reminds me of.

The opening is the purest lemon one could imagine. The dry down is neroli and orange blossom and is more common like in Eau de Givenchy. Musky dry down. The opening is the nice part.

This should be very similar to Sun Song. I added it to the 'reminds me of' section, but as always with the references to Louis Vuitton fragrances, it does not show up in the list.

We used almost the whole bottle on a summer vacation in Portugal. Even today, when the children smell the parfum they remember that vacation. How amazing is dat....

this lasts surprisingly long on me, and i tend to have poor performances on my skin. 12h + and i could still smell it if i put my nose closely enough

There couldnt be a better name. Lemon in the sun, I can almost feel the intensity of the sun, so weird. I can also smell orange blossom, pure summer
