Girl Blooming

I have both - Girl and Girl Blooming. I probably have to wear the Blooming a few more days to quite decide how I feel about it. It is lighter, more soapy and fresher but also still is similar to the original Girl. The candy-black currant is not as obvious and it is generally less sweet. I would say it is all in all just more elegant and lighter than the original girl but at the same time has a bit less character as the main party is in the top notes and the dry-down is very timid. It is probably more of my cup of tea as it is more in the group of Chloe/Narciso type of fresh soapy flowery powdery things. The main reason to buy it is if you want your elegant everyday fragrance for a lower price. It also, as does Girl, smells quite synthetic for such eco/green/vegan marketing.

A beautiful perfume for spring and summer. It smells like fresh flowers with a bit of citrus (but in a good way). It has something "comforting". It also lasts very long so you don't need to over spray it

Rochas Girl Blooming is an explosion of youth, of freshness, of joy, of pure newborn life... The opening of this perfume has a beautiful bergamot, bergamot that will be in the entire fragrance, beautifully nuanced the final set of this great little piece. I smell its currants but little, in this version the citrus and not sharp take more prominence, although the currants gently sweeten Blooming so as not to make a perfume too astringent. As the minutes go by, the bitter tangerine takes center stage with the orange blossom and it is so delicious, so feminine, so chic... The perfume ends up rounding off with a woody and musky nuance that softens the output and half-life so revitalizing. The durability is very very good, I could say excellent, because the next day its smell remains divinely on the clothes. The sillage is very acceptable and I feel it in bursts for hours. Conclusion: good, pretty and good price. I'm lovin 'it

Ahh! These notes are all up my ally, can't wait for release on the market! Rochas is an underrated house - or maybe it's just not marketed as much as others - but deserves recognition for its quality scents. Exciting spring ahead!

Has anyone sampled these 2 perfumes (Girl Blooming and Girl by Rochas ?). I would be very grateful if another member could describe the differences between these 2 perfumes, because I am really puzzled! Thank you very much.

Very nice comforting perfume. It is fresh powdery woody, really suitable for spring weather. The bottle is cute.
