Eau de Cologne

Son yıllarda inanilmaz hızla artan ve "niş" oldugunu iddia eden markalardan insanlar bıktı. Binlerce parfümden sadece 2-3 tanesi aslinda dikkate alınması gereken düzeyde. Gerisi sadece kalabalık ve para tuzağı. Bu markanın bazi ürünlerini kullanmıştım. Son olarak bunu aldım. Basit, sadece ve net bir parfum. Kolonya olarak satılıyor. Fiyatı makul ve tertemiz bir parfum. 40 yaş üstü erkekler için ideal. Lavanta kullanımı nedeniyle biraz eski havası olsa da temizlik ve klasik tarafları ön planda. Makul bir kalıcılığı var. Bence çalışan, takim elbise kullanan, etrafını parfümü ile boğma meraklısı olmayan her erkeğin elinin altında olmalı.

This is such an easy-reach, any time, everywhere for me. Clean and refreshing citrus with a little more aromatic substance. Same type of grab as Santa Maria Novella Acqua della Regina and Acqua de Colonia (but better longevity/projection than those two), and Xerjoff's Renaissance. This falls between the Santa Maria's and Xerjoff in terms of projection/strength and longevity, but affordable to reapply as often as desired. Great atomizer as well, I've been wearing the hell out it and dent seems modest. Beautifully blended, classy/elegant air. Love it!

A bitter eau de cologne. It’s called « extra vieille » which means super old. So like an eau de cologne which spent ages on your shelf. It can be pleasing but it’s a bit outdated compared to other colognes or Roger & Gallet fragrances

Super green fragrance, smells like ivy. Did not stay long on my skin, which I’m glad for because it’s not an appealing fragrance- to my nose.

I've never smelled the original Roger & Gallet eau de cologne, which prior to the relaunch in 2022 they referred to as "extra vieille". Undoubtable this has been reformulated numerous times since 1806 for various reasons from sourcing ingredients to complying with health regulations. What I'm reviewing is what is on the market now on its own terms. This is delightful. The bottle is pretty and well made. The glass on the bottom is cut like a the rays of a sun, even on the 30 ml bottle. This is a a lovely detail that you would expect from something much more expensive (and don't always get!) It is a delightful blend of citrus and aromatics, very attractively priced. You can spend a lot more but you don't need to. This does the job of leaving you feeling refreshed. Suitable for any gender, great for spring or summer.
