Interesting fresh and green white floral scent with lots of soap (yet nice) oak moths in the base. It’s quite edgy but still uplifting and unique. It’s rather beautiful, so I would definitely recommend it for floral scent lovers. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

This scent takes me straight to a sea side in Scotland...strange, because there are no marine notes listed here. It's a magical perfume! Amazing performance, high quality of ingredients. Highly recommended!

Last fragrance from this brand, and I'm sad there are no more! This is the fresh one - it's like a stroll among verdant grass and shrubs in the morning, just when the sun starts to lift the morning fog. It's not zesty, but more like you've crushed some misty plants in your hands. The drydown is when the jasmine peeks through and at this point I don't like the fragrance anymore. But I think it's something in the chemistry with my skin, not inherently with the fragrance itself. Edit: After 7-8 hours, a somewhat putrid note comes to the fore. It's not pleasant at all, and it's rather strong (this is probably the most long-lansting fragrance from the line).

Right so I love Ruth's work and none of it so far lacks depth and layers, Dagian included. However, I don't like it. The opening is fresh, woody but it smells quite a lot like. I get notes of lime, grapefruit and petitgrain/orange blossom but punctuated heavily with green notes and then aquatics. The base is that slimy, melon, spunk, of salty diffuse woods and Calone or such like, marine/aquatic molecule or base. I'm not completely against these sorts of materials and if anyone could get the best out of it, I'd say it would be Ruth but it's a taste thing, some people are really taken with these aromas, I find them nauseating. The fact that the opening of salty, floral citrus greenery is pleasant is enough of a success but an hour or so in and all I can smell is Aquatic AC's. A rare miss in what is an exemplary collection of fragrances.

If you've tried this perfume in the cold and found it, well, meh, give it another try when it's really hot. It smells much better in the heat imo.

An opening blast of fresh pale green and mandarin, swiftly followed by orange blossom and miscellaneous white florals. A few minutes and the aquatic note rolls in like a spring tide underneath. I get no sandalwood or amber, even an hour later, just a lingering juicy mandarin on a sea breeze. This is lovely! The composition is rounded and harmonious; it’s lived up to my expectations of a niche house. Unfortunately it doesn’t last on my skin; I get an hour on a cool day. Perhaps it’ll perform better on warmer days? It reminds me of Elvie, although Elvie is simpler and its citrus is paler and brighter, with a cool lingering musk underneath the aquatic notes. I do have to reapply Elvie every few hours but at its price point I don’t mind. As lovely as it is, Davian’s a wee bit too expensive for that. I’ll enjoy the tester while it lasts! I have the Discovery Set and this is the second fragrance I’ve tried. I also very much liked Amorosa but alas it too faded quite quickly.

This is my second minty fragrance sample this week. Both so different. This was quite a strong hit of citrus and mint up top but quickly dried down to something softer and more elegant before becoming a very close to the skin scent - less than an hour. The light florals and musk linger for quite a while though, nice to wear for the office, picking up kids from school or running errands. A solo pleaser pick me up.
