Cocoyster Carambola

This fragrance is like a gentle coconut and cream cloud that softly embraces and envelops you. It’s delicate, creamy and truly beautiful. The sweetness here is subtle and natural. The coconut milk stands out the most! It smells rich and creamy, evoking the sensation of freshly applied coconut lotion on sun-warmed skin by the beach. The top notes of carambola, lemon blossom and salt create a sense of light marine freshness and an exotic breeze, which quickly gives way to a soft floral-cream wave. Ylang-ylang and vanilla orchid add a sun-kissed, tender floral touch without stealing the spotlight. Overall, it’s a very comforting, relaxing and atmospheric scent , a true delight for those who love coconut-themed perfumes, especially in a gentle, creamy interpretation.

Wow! I purchased the Cocoyster discovery set as I am looking to find my new summer scent, thinking that I would enjoy Moorea Guava and Bananita the most. In fact, I didn’t even want Carambola but I am SO happy that I stumbled across this scent. It’s literally summer in a bottle - creamy coconut with a citrus element, but the underlying ylang ylang elevates things and saves it from becoming just another ‘sunscreen’ scent. It translates to a sophisticated slightly sweet summer scent and as someone who usually exclusively wears overly sweet perfumes, the fresh element in this is actually a delight. I’m excited to wear this more as the weather warms up.

This is my type of sweet, summery fragrance because it’s enough of those things (sweet & summery) without being too much. I love it! Someday will make this my summer signature when I can purchase a full bottle. Previous reviews have described this fragrance very well and I think it deserves more recognition.

Yummy tropical goodness. Very beachy, summery scent. It's almost sunscreen-y, but stays fresh enough to avoid that cloying, synthetic, metallic sunscreen vibe.
