No reviews yet? Well this fragrance is very nice! I worried it would genuinely be fishy but it’s more of a salty aquatic coconut scent. It opens more reminiscent of oysters but more in a salty mineral way. Very reminiscent of being at the ocean, getting blasted with salty mist. Dries down slightly sweet and floral as well. The oyster note isn’t super distinctive. This fragrance doesn’t smell like Olympea by Paco Rabanne, but it feels like a better version of the concept of Olympea. Incense and elemi notes help keep cocoyster a bit unisex but I do feel it’s slightly more feminine due to the vanilla and ylang. It last long and projects well on my skin which is rare but a must for my climate as perfumes that don’t last on skin tend not to last for the 6 months of summer I experience here in California. I love it! I immediately ordered a bottle, though I wasn’t looking to buy right now. Couldn’t resist! Update-I wore a few light sprays of this in the blazing sun and heat while doing yard work and it lasted and lasted all day into the night. It also grew addictively good where I couldn’t stop smelling myself. It’s a pretty unique scent that blends with body chemistry well. It also layers well with other sunscreen type scents. My husband complimented it. It somewhat reminds me of Womanity though it smells nothing like Womanity, it gives an equally nice niche gourmand salty oceanic vibe. I’m very surprised how much I ended up liking this. Update #2 - I ordered a FB and freaking love this scent. It’s incredibly unique and unlike anything else in my collection (and I do own Holidays by Mancera they are NOTHING alike). Cocoyster also lasts an eternity. I could smell it in my hair after 2 showers. Total beast mode. Somehow this little gem has made it to my top 10, maybe even top 5 at the moment.

It goes through more stages than I expected. It opens with a salty metalic note (a bit of like saltine/soda crackers - probably the “oyster”) , with almondy vanilla (like TF VS, but finer) and the coconut is like photorealistic coconut flakes . Layer it transitions to a vanilla-coconut mix which reminds me of MP Vanilla Powder (minus the ambroxan, which is always a good thing, ever since it became a boring, but still milked, trend) + some TF Soleil de Feu in the back. And finally comes the very last drydown phase which is just TF SdF, at which I only get to realize it’s been there from the start, but never imposing itself. Cocoyster is a pleasant journey and very wearable. Although it says “marine” accord, I don’t feel it aquatic or some cheap algae lurking around. The “oysters” (saltine/soda crackers and a bit of saline/salt water and a metallic zing) are sufficiently interesting to draw me back. And provided that the rest of the notes come in turns in soft transition, I am contemplating a bottle, if upon further testing, it manages to show me more of that metalic saltines+saline. UPDATE: I love it more and more. I need a backup.

This and City on Fire by Imaginary Authors are ones I will likely buy a full bottle of at some point in the future. It is funny to me how absolutely different the two are, however, While City on Fire is a sharp, smoky scent that stayed on my clothes for days afterwards, Cocoyster is a lighter, sweet scent with a hint of salt in the back end of it. Honestly it is at its saltiest when you first spray it, and as it dries down it becomes a mellow, pleasant salted vanilla coconut scent. I do think it is a little cheap smelling in the beginning, but it smells more natural and subtle as time goes on.

Tried from a sample – great in summer heat at the beach. Not overly salty nor 'oystery', good for outside and at the beach. Nice development with slightly sweet coconut and vanilla notes.

briny oysters, creamy coconut, and salty sea water. i see how this could be unpleasant to some but i think it's beautiful! it only falls short in performance with weak sillage and mediocre longevity, but if those improved it would be a love and staple summer scent! overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷🩷🖤 4/5

Honestly not my to go fragrance, overly synthetic and sometimes nauseating. Things said, this smells totally like the beach. its the odor you get when you are about to go to the beach and you can both smell the saltiness in the air of the sea and the coconut from the sunscreen. Although this is as real as you can get to that picture it did not leave any strong impressions on me. I feel this is not my style. if I spend 140 bucks for a fragrance I want to smell unique and rich, not like a 5 bucks sunscreen but that is just my take, performances are huge though both sillage and longevity. 6.8/10

Raw oysters on a warm day are one of my greatest joys in life so of course I had to try this fragrance. I don’t get as much oyster from Cocoyster as I hoped for or as much salt at all, but it’s a pleasant beachy vanilla coconut. I can get a hint of the briny note that the name led me to hope for, but I think other fragrances do it better and there are also better fragrances in the vanilla-coconut family, unfortunately.

Well... there a something in there that is annoying me. From the start to the dry down. Is it the salt that transform into the incense/elemi? There is just a hint of the coconut I was looking for. And for an extrait, the performance on my skin was dismal. Very sad because I was expecting much more playfulness. This is a serious and mature marine perfume.

Well I bought this from Italy and had it shipped to UK. I’m not a fan of marine scents, so maybe this one just isn’t for me. This is a heavy marine scent. If you’re buying this expecting a coconut perfume, you’ll be disappointed like I was. I get no coconut from this. Just metalic marine notes. I ended up selling mine on eBay

There's zero salt here, zero oysters. It smells like a suntan lotion, cheaply coconut-y synthetic. Virgin Island Water has more salt than this fragrance. This smells like Vacation by Arquiste. For the price asked, anything from Bath works or Victoria's Secret is a great option.

The coconut becomes more velvety, never cloying, with hints of white flowers and perhaps a touch of vanilla or musk, making it even more enveloping and feminine. Everything remains very natural—never caramelized or artificial. It smells of sun-kissed skin, a light pareo, and sunlit silence. In my opinion, this fragrance truly comes alive on feminine skin. It has a languid grace—sensual without provocation—that perfectly suits someone with a gentle way of occupying space. I imagine it on someone who loves walking barefoot, who laughs softly, who chooses her gestures with ease and lightness. Cocoyster can be worn year-round. Even though it has a warm, salty, summery soul, it doesn’t need sunshine to work. In fact, it shines brightest during the duller months. It’s the kind of fragrance you wear to feel better—to give yourself a breath of lightness when everything outside feels grey. It’s like slipping into a vacation memory, but without nostalgia. Just a desire to breathe more deeply, to slow down, to feel good in your own skin. And in the end, isn’t that exactly what a perfume should do?

Wow, this perfume truly captures the essence of an oyster. The saltiness and coolness of ocean water embrace a slightly milky coconut. The ylang ylang adds a subtle edge with a faint spicy nuance that eventually softens into a woody floral. It’s cooling, calming, and serene. The vanilla, amber, incense, and elemi weave through the heart, adding just a touch of sweetness and a hint of smokiness. It’s not heat but added texture that emerges, which reinforces the oyster concept beautifully. The notes interrelate nicely, making this both creative and cohesive. Though it’s an extrait, it wears fairly light on me and doesn’t project much, radiating more of an intimate scent bubble. It lasted about three to four hours before settling close to the skin. It's also a tad oily when applied. It feels laid back, like it doesn’t have to try too hard because it simply is. I can see this being enjoyed in the summer, laid out on the beach, sun beaming, wanting to feel one with the ocean.

This does not smell fishy or like oyster. Just for anyone concerned about that. It has a salty ocean smell similar to many other beachy fragrances. To me, this smells very similar to Mancera Holidays except Holidays is a bit more fruity and juicy (due to the bergamot I’m assuming). This is nice, but not unique.

Love this on first spray. Unfortunately dries down to sweet coconut and Carmex ointment on my skin 😫. Couldn’t handle the camphor notes and had to scrub.

I know this is immature...but a cock oyster sounds like a very challenging smell..
