Cupola

Very intriguing mix of balsams and iris. I can pick out a lot of notes listed, but as a whole this smells quite somber, which sort of correlates with the dusky blue color the juice is tinted with. The "car" quality like the first commenter mentioned probably came from an allusion to leather made by saffron, angelica, iris and labdanum. The brief but bright tangerine up top saves the whole thing from being too dour. To my fellow iris lovers: while this might not be an iris-forward scent, it's done in a manner reminiscent of Dior Homme Intense and Bois D'Argent, sitting somewhere between the latter's papery woods and dry amber (at least that's how I perceive its current formula) and the former's cocooning embrace of warmth. Definitely worth sampling.

Salvatore Ferragamo's Cupola is a delightful blend that strikes the perfect balance between elegance and versatility. From the first spray, I was captivated by its sophisticated notes that dance beautifully between fresh and slightly spicy, making it an ideal choice for both men and women. In fact, my wife loves it just as much as I do – she even borrowed it a few times, which says a lot about its unisex appeal. Long lasting on the skin and clothes around 7-8 hours. Good DNA and enjoyable. Definitely worth trying.
