Jasmine & Cedarwood

im not gonna lie i got this as a mini set in the clearance section of tj maxx as a complete blind buy. whenever i see jasmine on a bottle i jump, what can i say i have a brand to maintain lol. i'm not too experienced on woody scents, but this fragrance doesn't feel overwhelmingly spicy or woody or masculine for that matter. and don't tell anyone but this is an almost perfect dupe for baccarat rouge. it has almost all the same notes, and although i'm not huge on musky scents it marries so well with the jasmine floral. the fact that this is an oil-based perfume as well is so perfect, it lasts for a very long time on my wrists and neck. the set came with a vanilla musk roller ball as well, which is great to pair if you want a sweeter floral scent that doesn't feel extremely girly. it was $6. sue me. but you can find all their sets on the sand and fog website for less than 30? hello?? i give this an 11/10. a very refined and elegant take on jasmine that is similar yet stands on its own next to MFK BR. this is an elevated jasmine scent that doesn't scream white floral or musk or wood it actually doesn't scream for that matter despite it being a long-lasting oil-based roller perfume. she is a soft-spoken, elegant, well-dressed, kind woman who knows what she likes and what she wants. what a beautiful and nice surprise. never underestimate the power of tj maxx!!! im definitely down to explore sand and fog fragrances more, the quality is surprising for a low price range perfume.

(Review of 50ml Bottle) This was a gift from my girlfriend when I'd first asked to try some fragrances and was feeling out my tastes, and I'd actually suggest this scent as an easy gift for that exact same reasoning. Anyone can wear this comfortably, and it's a great layering scent as well. It's an incredibly easygoing woody/floral scent with some fresh lemon zest at the front end, and the amber/musk notes develop very nicely as it sits on the skin. Lasts a decent while as well, 5-6 hours or so for me, and I found myself wearing it year-round. It's insanely versatile and definitely worth the money if you find it, especially considering the super cheap price point and accessibility factor (you can get these at retail stores like Marshalls and TJMaxx for $15, or in sets of 3 with other S+F oils). Side note: Please be wary that sometimes, these may smell rancid in person given that people like to open these in stores and use them. Always give them a whiff just to be safe!

This is a hidden gem if you're a BR540 fan. This is hands-down the most accurate and best smelling 540 dupe out there - I own the real thing and several copiers and I think I enjoy this oil the most. There's seriously no point in purchasing 540 if you can find this. I found mine at Marshall's for $14.99 and considered buying up all they had. It's just so good. Since it's an oil, it doesn't project for miles, but it lasts forever and I can personally smell it on myself for hours and that's all I really want. Plus it's great to layer under other fragrances as well. Completely slept on - please get this!!

leaves lots of traces on clothes, but not so much on skin. the amber is lost beneath the lemon. about ten minutes after application, the saffron sticks wonderfully, making way for the pine and cedar notes. don't be fooled if it smells too chemical-like or metallic at first. unfortunately, about two hours, it loses its strength and dries to a skin-like smell, only cedar and pine left if you literally stick your nose against the application site. it clings onto clothes far better than skin. but I'm a fool for this perfume, so I wear it anyway.

I have multiple BR 540 dupes as it's one of my favorite fragrance profiles, but this oil is by far the closest to the real thing... For reference, it smells almost identical to ALT Fragrance's BR 540 dupe (Crystal), but without the odd and lingering bitterness. I applied the oil to my wrists last night, and I could still smell it after helping my little one get a shower! The projection isn't crazy (which is fine for me), but it certainly creates a lasting fragrance bubble. I'm looking forward to trying other fragrance oils from this brand.
