Citrus and black currant create an almost vegetal floral opening. Neither note smells like itself here. This vegetal floral opening seamlessly transforms into a vegetal hyacinth. More heady, yet vegetal, florals join the hyacinth. Then, it becomes watery, heady, and fresh florals. A bit of a fennel anise scent keeps it balanced between herbal, vegetal, and floral. Fresh and almost cucumbery, not overly floral in a sweet or sharp way. The drydown isn't leather, amber, or vanilla, but herbed cucumber and not in a good way.

As soon as I put this on, I get bombarded by something that smells like rotten cheese mixed with furniture polish and black currant. I suspect that this might be the fennel note clashing with one of the other notes. It’s certainly strong and long-lasting, but it’s definitely not the scent for me.
