My partner was gifted Godred at Christmas and I absolutely love it on him! It is a warm scent with a mixture of spice and plum for the first few hours, followed by a wood/leather scent after that. I would say that it would suit both men and women and is perfect for the colder months. It's not overbearing like a lot of male fragrances (so many give me a headache!), but I always get a lovely gentle waft whenever my partner walks past wearing Godred! I love the illustration on the bottle too- quite unique!

In a nutshell - a very realistic black currant on a leather. I like it. I don’t get any citrus notes on my skin, though.

I bought this perfume for the man in my life and it smells great on him. However it is running out fast as I like it on me too! So does he, by the way. Although the top notes of citrus, berries and bergamot are more pronounced on my skin to begin with, the warm woodiness is quickly apparent on his. The complex plummy spicy middle notes appear after about 5 minutes and the scent becomes even more enticing! It's good that the silage is intimate as otherwise he would quickly collect a following in the wild. The wonderfully soft but rich and intoxicating base notes arise after about 10 minutes and the dry down is long and intense encouraging one to remain at an intimate distance.
