Eau Acidulée (Cassis + Passion)

Very playful scent. Reminds me of my childhood

This to me is a simple, sweet and tart fruity scent. It layers very well with woody fragrances.

Reminds me The Body Shop's and Victoria's Secret scents and hence also reminds me of teenagehood 😅 And I am not sure is it good or bad thing... Very juvenile and artificial, sweet fruity scent. Would not call this unisex either, passion in this is rather feminine not androgyneous.

Back when these were first released in my country, a friend bought them all, and was disappointed by all but one, and so, wishing to gift them to her friends, called me over to try the one she intended for me — and I got to test them all out! This was one of the two I found to be really off-putting. It’s hard to recall the exact notes I caught, because in all fairness, I recoiled as soon as I sprayed. “Acidulée” is a great adjective to describe this horrorshow. It’s sour in all the unpleasant ways: a tint of pungent sweat, a lot of chemical acid as if a cheap cologne has gone bad. Nothing about this smells natural, as this line of fragrances intends. It’s a sickening scent, and not at all what “Italian lemon” might evoke in your imagination. Having two other fragrances from this line, I can attest they’re surprisingly long lasting, and depending on your skin’s chemistry with the particular notes, can even have a decent sillage. It’s more likely for the scent to be lost on you towards the end of the day, but it can be detected by others. As far as I recall (they’re no longer available where I live —bummer— so I can’t check) they come in 3 sizes: 15 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml. I haven’t tried the 15 ml bottles, but they’re all pretty compact, with thick glass (so even if you wish to re-spray you can bring it with you) and a nice nozzle that has a finer mist.

This is a sweet fruity fragrance, despite the "soury" name. The lemon is present only in the opening, but it's not a citrus scent - it's a tropical mix of sweet passionfruit and blueberries. I don't detect the "peppery" angle of blackcurrant at all, just sweet blueberries. It's quite delicious and inoffensive - an easy to wear frag for the summer months. Lasts around 4 hours.

Sweetened blackcurrant and passion fruit. Don't get much citrus at all and don't find it tart or sour at all, despite the name. I enjoy layering it over Tom Ford Ombré Leather for something leathery with a sweet touch.

I find it similar to D&G Limperactice 3, and for me they also have same performance, easy to wear, nice smell but nothing speacial.
