L'Eau Rêvée D'Isa

Excellent earthy fragrance with a hint of floralcy and sweetness. Goes on a little feminine but quickly settles into a naturalistic unisex scent. So far I love this stuff, it just is very relaxing and comforting and smells oh so good. High quality, not quite challenging but not a super mainstream scent either, it’s just right. On me, projection/intensity is rather low, but it has above average longevity. It’s basically just a skin scent for its entire duration, but lasts a good 7-8hrs on my skin with pretty much the same strength throughout. My girlfriend ended up liking it just as much as I do and commandeered my travel spray of it. Looks like I’ll need to get a full bottle for us to share To my nose, this is far better than Eau de Sisley 1, and quite a bit different, despite this being considered its replacement. This is noticeably earthier, whereas Eau 1 seems spicier and more herbal.

A warmer, spicier, less ostentatious, more androgynous cousin of Chanel, Les Eaux: Paris - Deauville, which I own and adore. (Lighter on the opulent white flowers), more crisp with pleasant spices, and even ‘sporty’ by comparison. Maybe more wearable because of this. (Tennis court vs. Garden party?) but equally interesting and complex, as beautifully blended and uplifting. The whole collection is, actually, very good (I have tried 5 out of 6), and IMO, Isa, Hubert, Ikar and Alma are standout. Superb quality ingredients from Sisley (you won’t be ashamed to wear this in rarified company). I believe I will own and love a bottle!

Wow! I was not ready for how good this [blind-buy] is. In my estimation, I would describe this as a unisex chypre with a healthy dose of 'modern-twist'. Very happy with my latest acquisition.

What a beautiful, crisp, laundry-like moss. The dry down is just gorgeous, as it gets less crisp and softens, the earthiness fades away slowly and more musky rosy moss emerges.

Mysterious and enigmatic fragrance, like a walk in an ancient, dark forest. It also feels fresh and clean, ideal for summer.

I think that this is a nice and sophisticated fragrance and it is probably the perfume I like the most by Sisley. L'Eau Rêvée D'Isa opens up with moderately citrusy and fairly spicy aplomb from the bergamot, pink pepper and black pepper. I found it a bit too spicy for me and I feel like this fragrance would have smelt better with just the pink pepper and not with the black pepper as well. In the heart of this fragrance I can mainly smell a very clean and slightly feminine smelling rose and an aromatic tea note. I don't really smell any jasmine at all. This is probably my favorite part of this fragrance because of its floral character and sweetness at this stage. It unfortunately fades within a few hours though. Finally, I'm able to smell the earthy patchouli and especially the earthy, bitter and mossy oakmoss in the base and not really any of the musk. This is my least favorite part of this perfume and I find it just far too dry smelling and like the decaying earth of the forest floor. It's not a pretty smell and I find it rather off-putting. This fragrance mainly leans unisex because of that earthy base. This fragrance lasted an impressive 10 and a half hours on me and its sillage bubble was moderate, to be smelt an arm's length away. It is rather amazing for a cologne I must admit. I'd say that L'Eau Rêvée D'Isa can be worn from spring to fall during the day to intensify the floral notes on one's skin and that I can imagine it being worn to more formal daytime events. It's a very serious and not girly and sweet fragrance. It has depth too. My score for this fragrance is a 7/10 altogether. I like it but I wouldn't rush out to buy a full bottle personally speaking.

I like this one!! It smells like a forest after a heavy rainfall. Very earthy and moss heavy, however its feminine and fresh.

I see why some people would love this, but it’s not for me personally! Upon opening there is a bit sharp masculine note that does settle down a bit but lingers. Very earthy with green spice, musky – not something I would go for, but received a sample of this so gave it a try.

I've smelled it, sprayed it, loved it - ordered it. It is like an Eau du Soir light, the same classy vibe, but less overpowering, yet with pretty good staying power. It is more supple, more flexible, if you know what I mean. I've been wanting to get a 'proper' chypre, but many of them make me feel like I'm wearing someone else's underwear :-). I'm inclined to blame that on the rose, or the oakmoss, though Mathilde Laurent, who designed some miraculous scents, says we should pay less attention to the ingredients and focus on the end result. Seems like excellent advice. Anyways, my first Sisley is on it's way. I'm definitely looking forward to it!

I like it, and it smells nice, but I think my perception is affected by some of my grandmother's perfumes, because to me moss smells dated. Nice perfume I'd like to smell on someone else, just not my cup of tea.

good fragrance for women. slighlty reminiscent of my favourite No. 2 by Sisley.

Anybody here experienced Eau Capitale as well? DM me if so. They seem similar!

Not my cup of tea. On my skin smells like bathroom sanitizer, unfortunately.

It could easily be a flanker of Eau de Soir. Beautiful!
