Burning Bridges

Burning Bridges is a lovely warm scent. It works well with your natural scent and yet radiates as well. It is a comforting vanilla tobacco and has lighter notes to bring out that contrast. I enjoy the purchasing process as well. The sample size you receive is enough to test for 5-7 days. Would recommend this product and this company.

the dry down of this one weirdly reminds me of orpheon from diptyque for some reasons

The opening was like menthol, as if a fougere was cut with gasoline, and I really liked it, even though it leaned masculine, then the dry down is more powdery iris-vanilla, but I still smell a slight minty quality which makes it still feel a bit refreshing to me, but it is a contrast and a journey for sure. Definitely scratches that itch for me of gasoline type scents like Fahrenheit and Cuir Vertigo, but perhaps it's only my nose.

Surprisingly candy-like, sugary-sweet opening. To me, it shares some similarities to Nishane's Hundred Silent Ways (the candy-like aspects) & Fan Your Flames (the spices). Then the florals come in but the spices keep it from leaning feminine, and the floral notes feel powdery, thick, syrupy(?). I think it's down-the-middle unisex. As with some other Snif frags, the bang-for-buck is very good.

This scent is..... odd. I don't dislike it, but I also don't really like it? The initial spray is such a unique scent- think of cold rain on a spring day, river rocks, wet soil, walking over an old wooden bridge. Fresh rain under crisp leaves and wet earth. Then it changes suddenly into a sweet smoky vanilla with notes of tar and gasoline. Then the smoke takes over and I smell like the outside of a pit stop in the middle of nowhere, fuel, cigarettes, dust and dirt. And a weird nauseating sweetness in the background. It's strange, animalic, dirty, and sweet all at the same time. Notes are sharp and cloying at first. I get whiffs of it throughout the day and each time it smells different. I think I really like the initial spray, wet ozonic fresh earth, with a touch of sweetness, but then it just takes me on a roller-coaster of emotions in which I black out and don't remember much from a few seconds ago. Strange. Odd. Not a safe blind buy.
