Cheirosa '48

Not on the same level as the original Cheirosa 62 but this is a fresh tropical scent for summer that is atypical of most summer releases. I am biased, I love a guava note and if a perfume has it I will probably love it. Guava, coconut water, and orchid are the most prominent to me. This is great when I need a break from a sunscreen scent in the summer. Like other Sol De Janeiro body sprays I think they are generally good quality and a good value, and this body spray is not an exception. I get moderate projection and it lasted 4 hours on skin in the heat. The scent trail lingers in the air forever. I spayed this on in my closet then returned after work and it was still in the air. It layers beautifully. I tried it with Victor and Rolf Tiger lily, Cheirosa 68, and Juicy Couture Bowdacious. The Cheirosa 48 and Bowdacious combo smells like a 2000s Victoria Secret Angel at the beach. I really appreciate that this is not a solar sunscreen scent because I already have enough of those. This is not my favorite from the brand but I do love it, and would repurchase. 8/10.

My signature fragrance. It’s undervalued in my opinion. For a body mist that lives in the family of Victoria’s Secret fruit and floral bombs (commendatory), it’s extremely fresh and refined. It has more character than similarly profiled EDPs. It’s sweet without being a sugar rush, it’s delicious without being too gourmand. It plays very well with others, acting as the perfect base for more complex floral or citrus EDPs. It blends deliciously with vanilla. It lingers in your hair like dappled sunlight. It fades from skin quickly, but lasts long on your clothes. It’s made for reapplication. Guava and vanilla are the dominant notes here. 48 is the embodiment of the color pink with a mouth full of coconut water.

This one is sunshine in a bottle. It’s bright, happy, and instantly lifted my mood from the very first spritz. I wanted something light and refreshing for my trip to Kos next week, and this fits the bill perfectly. It opens with a strong, juicy guava which leans ultra fleshy and tropical, although that softens after a few minutes. Then comes a wave of refreshing coconut water, a squeeze of lemon, and a soft vanilla base that keeps it sweet but not heavy. Girly, feminine, and effortlessly pretty, it’s the kind of scent that makes you feel put together without trying too hard. A summer must-have for me. Can't wait to pair this with a LBD and tropical sandals! Love this one!

i blind bought this because 68 has lowkey disappointed me which is a long story but basically after like a year mine started smelling like vinegar and i didn’t want a big 240ml to start smelling like vinegar so i got this instead and i love it. it’s tangy from the lemon but it’s sort of balanced out by the coconut water. i don’t understand the people saying this is like thank u next by ariana grande because this is wayyy too tart where thank u next is more coconutty and rose with no lemon anyways. i like this a lot for a blind buy, i was imagining it to be a bit less tart and sour but i can get over it if i layer it with 40 or maybe a tropical perfume

This is my boyfriend’s favorite scent I have, and it’s my fav SDJ scent (second fav is Carioca Crush, which I feel is kinda similar). It’s definitely one of the scents I reach for most because it’s just so fruity and reliable to me. Honestly I don’t really know what guava smells like or tastes like, but this spray is such a nice tropical fruity scent. It’s sweet in a candy way, but definitely not sickeningly sweet to me. Random, but I smelled this while under the influence of mushrooms, and it was legitimately the best thing I’ve ever smelled. I was absolutely transported lol.
