Cheirosa '48

Not on the same level as the original Cheirosa 62 but this is a fresh tropical scent for summer that is atypical of most summer releases. I am biased, I love a guava note and if a perfume has it I will probably love it. Guava, coconut water, and orchid are the most prominent to me. This is great when I need a break from a sunscreen scent in the summer. Like other Sol De Janeiro body sprays I think they are generally good quality and a good value, and this body spray is not an exception. I get moderate projection and it lasted 4 hours on skin in the heat. The scent trail lingers in the air forever. I spayed this on in my closet then returned after work and it was still in the air. It layers beautifully. I tried it with Victor and Rolf Tiger lily, Cheirosa 68, and Juicy Couture Bowdacious. The Cheirosa 48 and Bowdacious combo smells like a 2000s Victoria Secret Angel at the beach. I really appreciate that this is not a solar sunscreen scent because I already have enough of those. This is not my favorite from the brand but I do love it, and would repurchase. 8/10.

My signature fragrance. It’s undervalued in my opinion. For a body mist that lives in the family of Victoria’s Secret fruit and floral bombs (commendatory), it’s extremely fresh and refined. It has more character than similarly profiled EDPs. It’s sweet without being a sugar rush, it’s delicious without being too gourmand. It plays very well with others, acting as the perfect base for more complex floral or citrus EDPs. It blends deliciously with vanilla. It lingers in your hair like dappled sunlight. It fades from skin quickly, but lasts long on your clothes. It’s made for reapplication. Guava and vanilla are the dominant notes here. 48 is the embodiment of the color pink with a mouth full of coconut water.

This one is sunshine in a bottle. It’s bright, happy, and instantly lifted my mood from the very first spritz. I wanted something light and refreshing for my trip to Kos next week, and this fits the bill perfectly. It opens with a strong, juicy guava which leans ultra fleshy and tropical, although that softens after a few minutes. Then comes a wave of refreshing coconut water, a squeeze of lemon, and a soft vanilla base that keeps it sweet but not heavy. Girly, feminine, and effortlessly pretty, it’s the kind of scent that makes you feel put together without trying too hard. A summer must-have for me. Can't wait to pair this with a LBD and tropical sandals! Love this one!

i blind bought this because 68 has lowkey disappointed me which is a long story but basically after like a year mine started smelling like vinegar and i didn’t want a big 240ml to start smelling like vinegar so i got this instead and i love it. it’s tangy from the lemon but it’s sort of balanced out by the coconut water. i don’t understand the people saying this is like thank u next by ariana grande because this is wayyy too tart where thank u next is more coconutty and rose with no lemon anyways. i like this a lot for a blind buy, i was imagining it to be a bit less tart and sour but i can get over it if i layer it with 40 or maybe a tropical perfume

This is my boyfriend’s favorite scent I have, and it’s my fav SDJ scent (second fav is Carioca Crush, which I feel is kinda similar). It’s definitely one of the scents I reach for most because it’s just so fruity and reliable to me. Honestly I don’t really know what guava smells like or tastes like, but this spray is such a nice tropical fruity scent. It’s sweet in a candy way, but definitely not sickeningly sweet to me. Random, but I smelled this while under the influence of mushrooms, and it was legitimately the best thing I’ve ever smelled. I was absolutely transported lol.

Nice, fresh, happy and fruity scent. At first try it didn't feel that special, just a nice basic fruity floral body spray. But this kind of grew on me: I find using it in turns with Cheirosa 68, there are some similarities to them, whenever I feel like having an uplifting fresh and not too heavy scent. This and 68 are my most used body sprays at the moment. I do not get the coconut note really, mostly the fresh fruit.

I had to come back to this to say how this reminds me of la Nuit tresor nude and it’s something about the way the creaminess and fruits are blended, except this body spray is a lot fruitier and has guava that the EDP I’m referring to doesn’t have. I have both and smelled them together, I knew cheirosa 48 reminded me of something. I haven’t smelled the perfume by Ariana that others have mentioned.

I don't normally go for fruity or floral scents, but this is one of my exceptions! It's such a fun, fruity, bright scent that immediately makes me think of summer days at the pool or the beach whenever I smell it. Although it's a very tropical scent, I honestly feel like it could probably be worn year-round if someone (me) really wanted to. Not much else to say, just a lovely, girly perfume mist!

I love this so much. Summer in a bottle. Super sweet and fruity. I personally didn’t notice the coconut myself but my sisters did and one of them calls this my “coconut perfume” lol. Guava is the strongest note for me. When I wear this I feel like Malibu Barbie wearing a hot pink bikini and ordering a fruit smoothie from the cute guy at the fruit bar in the beach. I’ll repurchase every summer

a juicy, sweet guava fragrance that’s perfect for summer! It’s very youthful and feminine, but you can still wear it without feeling like you’re wearing a little girl’s body mist. My coworker actually got me hooked on this scent :) It lasts quite a while on the skin, maybe 6 hours. I love it for very hot weather because it’s not suffocating or heavy at all. Very fruity, almost clean!

I love the smell of this, a delicious guava fragrance. But unfortunately this body spray has no longevity compared to the other sol de janeiro fragrances. It's gone within the first hour of spraying it. I would suggest the mco beauty dupe, its a fraction of the price and lasts way longer on the skin!! As someone who owns both I can’t smell a difference in them.

I rarely fall in love with a perfume so quickly, it usually takes some time for a fragrance to grow on me so even I am shocked by how much I immediately liked this body mist! It's fruity, it's pink and it's fresh. It's a perfect scent for summer's hottest days since it's not cloying or too heavy. I think I might even like it more than my beloved Cheirosa 62☀️

Oh I love this... considering it’s just a body spray, it is quite strong and also just smells lovely. You get the guava immediately but it’s a creamy-fruit rather than being sharp or sour. I got a quad-set of 30ml bottles that were on sale and I’m quite glad I gave it a try rather than just picking a larger bottle of a version I have already tried and owned.

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. It’s exotic and fu, I think it will be perfect for the summer. As always it’s catered towards younger women, so if you like more mature, less sweet scents this is probably not for you. But I can recommend at least trying it, I like to layer the SDJ scents as I find them all to be quite versatile!

Smells very similar to Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande, in my opinion... but definitely more coconut water in the dry-down! The coconut water and guava give this a refreshing, beachy feel to it and overall, I am impressed; Performance = 6/10, but because of the price point, a few extra sprays won’t break the bank!

Well I’m almost 40 lol and I love this scent! I get so many compliments! Maybe I’m immature lol This is my highest complimented SDJ fragrance. It’s fresh fruity juicy a bit clean a hint of floral ! I love that it’s a body spray! I spray it on everything lol! Really beautiful fragrance

48 is literally the second best next to 62. it smells soooo fruity and delicious, idk how people can hate it !! but i do understand if you don’t like fruity scents i wouldn’t recommend. it lasts long and smells sweet too, its js amazing, im on my 4th bottle, my second signature scent

À softer version of Saltair’s Exotic Pulp body spray. The guava doesn’t have the thiols in this like other guava scents and I like that. Very soft and fruity. Will layer well with other guava scents as well as other tropical fruity scents like Wavechild or Miami Nectar.

My first sol de janeiro body mist, i love it <3 I smelled the ones in the store, and this was my favorite. I also really liked Rio radiance and 40 which i will purchase eventually i think. Gives me summer vibes and it’s light, not annoying to wear

Sweet and fruity, good for summer. Definitely like a teen girl and young woman sort of scent, can’t really imagine an old lady wearing this. It doesn’t smell similar to thank u next to me, smells COMPLETELY different in my own opinion
