So Pure Men

While So Pure is not a very unique smell, it's still so upliftingly clean, fresh, & beautiful! The scent is geranium in essence, accompanied by relaxing lavender, spcied up with delicious cardamom, & freshened up just right by a mild zest of bergamot. It's a spicy floral scent that smells gorgeously clean & comfortable. It's very casual & laid back, as you've just stepped out of the shower. In a newly released movie called "Murder Mystery" starring Jennifer Aniston, her character described the handsome viscount character played by Luke Evans that "he smells like fresh laundry". So Pure will make you smell just like that! A neat scent for s.Oliver that's worth trying if you're in the market for a clean, cozy day scent.

My bottle is at least 7 years old now. While I do think that time has done its magic, I still remember that it was enjoyable when I got it. After all these years I still sometimes reach for this on special, daytime occasions (like graduations, outdoor shows or any gatherings). It's clean, fresh, soapy, floral and inoffensive. Does smell like fresh laundry, in a good way of course. If you like clean, soapy and slightly feminine fragrances (think of Prada L'Homme, even though it has nothing to do with So Pure in terms of the scent profile) then this one might be for you. Best to wear between 5:00 and 18:00 o'clock, from late spring to early fall. Even though it's a fresh frag, it's not a good choice during scorching hot summer days as the extreme heat will make the floral notes bitter and sour. Longevity and projection are average, nothing special to say here. I do think it is a bit overpriced currently in 2025 (as far as I know there's only 30ml and 50ml options), so I'd make sure I like it before I'd buy it. Could be a great gift option, as that's how I got it as well. I doubt I'll get a new one when I finish my old bottle, but we'll see. It does have a special place in my heart.

This is ok for a cheap summer/spring scent. That said lavander which is one of the main note is smelling weird until it dries down, then it starts to smell ok.All in all ok scent but there is much more better options in this price point. For me:4.5/10

Modern soapy fougere, cheap with weak longevity, nothing noteworthy about it.

It definitely smells like a lot of the Allure Home Sport dupes I've smelled before. I can't say if it's closer or further from the original compared to other's as I haven't tested Chanel's version. The projection however is terrible compared to others and the longevity is about 2hrs (including the skin scent window). This is one of those scents that you spray to go out for a couple of hours when you don't wanna wear it for the full day.

A fresh, pleasant and soft smell with a YSL l'homme vibe. Good for everyday casual/ office use, which you have to respray during your break.
