Amber Coeur

The description is on point. I just had to try this one as soon as it arrived, and immediately out of the bottle its a vaguely spicy, vaguely sweet, warm and comforting scent that might become my go-to this winter for days when I don't feel like thinking too hard about what I smell like. It DID go though that play-doh stage another reviewer noticed, but I also haven't let it settle yet, so that may change in the future.

In my husband's words, this is the smell of Gandalf pouring through the manuscripts in the library at Minas Tirith :) It also simultaneously reminds me of visiting Poland (particularly the salt mines). Something sharp and cold and Old World, in the most comforting way. EDP, 60 ml bottle

This is softly smokey and a warm resinous vanilla/tonka like scent, not cold resin, and not campfire smoke. Very wearable and reminds me of Guerlain's Oriental Brulant that is a Shalimar-like vanilla heavy on the musk and tonka.

Really glad I blinded bottled this last year. I was underwhelmed at first, but the labdanum really emerged with aging, cutting the sweetness with just a touch of lovely sharp smokiness So pretty and sweet.

Beautiful sharp amber, comfy, after that delicious trails signals towards the sweet dry suede. Not loud or pronounced, a unique amber from the house.

This reminds me of an amber oil I used to dab on my wrists when I would go to our local metaphysical shop when I was in high school. It's soothing, warm, and gentle. It's the scent of being safe in your body and clothes, the scent of writing poetry by the fire, something you want to cuddle up in.

Spicy amber scent that gets a bit sweeter on my skin. Reminds me of a cold cave for some reason. It’s a bit similar to conjure, but I prefer this one. It’s fairly strong.

I like it a lot. I get vanilla and frankincense, not sure about the labdanum. It smells like an old catholic church where the nuns make magic cookies.

First it’s a buttery rich resinous amber. It passes through a play-doh stage I don't like but ends a faint but rich golden ambre skin scent. Lovely.
