Blackburn's Parlor

I got a lot of the banana on the initial application, I love banana smells so that was fine with me. But it dries down delicately with the vanilla waffle cone coming out on top with sweetness/sugariness from the ice creams and caramel floating in there as well. I find it sweet and very delicate overall, like I said the intense banana mellowed out pretty quickly for me into sweet, sugary waffle cone sundae goodness that sits close to the skin but is also just inviting enough to those passing by. Overall I find myself smelling like the local housemade ice cream parlor from my childhood and I'll probably get a full-size soon.

Edp and oil versions read a little differently on me. I am enjoying the edp more, the banana scent burns off pretty quickly and then it's time for a little warm vanilla cone burnt sugar edible gourmand yumminess. The edp is much stronger and I prefer it, with much more of slightly burnt sugar waffle cone vibes than the banana. Longevity on edp is so-so, but it smells so good, that's ok. The oil has the banana sticking around awhile longer, and has slowly faded over 2 hours, but is still present.

This is a review of the EDP (I got a sample). Smells exactly like a banana split upon opening, it's amazing how realistic it is. It loses the banana a bit as it dries down and more of the chocolate comes out. It's really delicious and great for any gourmand lover such as myself. I am so impressed with Solstice Scents! I need a full bottle of this.

A blast of ripe bananas at first but they mellow down and then comes the chocolate and vanilla ice cream. They blend together to smell exactly like a sundae but this isn’t overly sweet. A syrupy caramel is there too. The dry down is just the ice cream with caramel & whipped cream in the background.

This is an extremely realistic vanilla ice cream with banana slices and chocolate sauce. So delicious. The banana note is like the fresh fruit, not the artificial candy. Because this is an oil the sillage and longevity aren't the strongest.
