Iced Nectar

This a very interesting gourmand. I agree, I also detect some basement scent as other reviewers have pointed out. But please keep reading. Iced Nectar is actually dominated by the most delicious creamy vanilla icecream scent. It is dripping with with sweet ripe fruit nectar. So do not be afraid, if is not moldy. Actually, it is very addictive and while wearing it throughout the day, I just keep admiring how incredibly beautifully I smell and what a crazy unexpected delicious note combination it is. I encourage you to try it fir yourself and give it at least couple of good wears before you decide :)

The opening for this is not great, not going to lie. I’m getting the peach/mango as advertised, but I’m also getting....wet basement? Cold wet dirt? Something along those lines that definitely does not belong. It’s a similar vibe to Sea of Grey and it’s just not what I am into when looking for a peachy ice cream scent. That being said, the dry down is more what I was wanting; heavy vanilla and waffle cone with a hint of peach in the background. If that wet basement/mildewy smell in the beginning was absent this would be a great scent.

As below reviewer mentions I too get something similar from this perfume before it reaches the more gourmand peach ice cream waffle cone stage. Definitely sth a bit like mold or wet fur along with a peachy brightness but in an intriguing complex way which means that if you enjoy more peculiar perfumes rather than straight up gourmands you may find this an interesting touch. I cannot possibly guess which note does this. The dry down represents the fragrance’s notes best as all the waffle cone and vanillic aspects start to become more present and that first peculiarity fades away. I enjoy this stage myself more and it stays like this for hours.
