Snowmint Mallow

I just received this today and it is everything I was hoping for! When I smelled it in the bottle, before spraying, I was letdown. Maybe it's the packaging but I smelled something artificial. But after I sprayed it, I was thrilled. Beyond thrilled. The drydown is even better. I really only get mint in the initial spray, the drydown is vanilla extract, marshmallows, a cake in the oven, butter and sugar melting in the double broiler for a batch of homemade fudge. This is a gourmand-lover's paradise. I usually don't care for coconut but this is so mellow, it picks up more of a vanilla-butter scent instead of artificial coconut scent. I'm dieting and have lost 14 pounds, And I don't think I could have done it without my gourmand scents. It really does satisfy my sweet tooth to smell something that smells edible. This stuff is going to really help a lot. Very happy with my purchase. I think this could be worn year-round, as well. The vanilla and mellow coconut give a summery vibe. The mint reminds me of winter. This stuff is just good.

This is funny, because I dislike mint, and I dislike musk, and I'm not a huge fan of most gourmands, but omg do I love this scent. In fact, I would choose it in my top 3 from the whole house. This just smells like camping on a fresh, cool mountaintop in the middle of winter with the sun shining on the white snow. The peppermint blast is intense for the first few minutes but it relaxes into a really beautiful soft combination with marshmallow and vanilla. Ironically, once the peppermint dries down and the coconut comes forward, it smells more like a beach to me, taking me from icy cold to sweaty summer.

Pure gourmand comfort in a bottle. It starts off with a hint of cool peppermint that rather quickly fades. As it dries down, it's all delicious vanilla cake (but never cloying!) with the barest hint of coconut and some creamy marshmallow. I don't really love coconut in my fragrances, so it is very barely noticeable on my skin. Snowmint Mallow is close to the skin, perfect for a work environment or other close quarters. It's also lovely and comforting at night. I love layering it with Solstice Scents Estate Vanilla for a little extra vanilla oomph.

Mmmm, this is great. Pepperminty marshmallows, fluffy, invigorating, crisp and blinding white like a sunny winter's day. Smells exactly like I imagined. I detect no coconut of any kind, but I'm somehow getting a faint chocolatey note... or maybe that's just because I associate the smell so much with Finnish candies called Marianne, which consist of a porous dark chocolate filling encased in a hard peppermint coating. Love.

Marshmallow and mint. The other notes kind of get lost, but it's still an amazing marshmallow frag. I've coupled this with A*MEN Kryptomint in the summer when I wanted to add a bit more sweetness (IDC FIGHT ME) and I lovvveeeddd catching wafts of sweet, minty goodness throughout the day.

Recently discovered this amazing and unique brand. This is perfume done in a new and creative/innovative way. Never want to go back to designer stuff and even some niche After experienced several diamonds here. Love Love, love. Snow mint Mallow is so beautiful.

This perfume is full of coconut-mint-creamy-vanilla-cakey goodness! It is missing the notes of vanilla cake and sugar cookies. Which I feel is very prominent in the perfume oil. It is so yummy, pretty, and gourmand. Would definitely recommend this perfumer!

This beautiful gourmand fragrance is so perfect for winter. A creamy, mellow mint (think white chocolate peppermint fudge) with great sillage.

I'm quickly becoming increasingly enamored with almost everything that I have tried from Solstice Scents and Snowmint Mallow is no exception. I wish I could smell the coconut or other notes listed but all I can smell is York peppermint patty which isn't a bad thing. I'm not sorry at all that I blind bought my rollerball, I do like this scent and it might morph into a ❤ eventually. I would recommend Solstice Scents to everyone. i had been searching for something similar to twisted peppermint that would last longer than the bath and body works fragrance mists, since it is one of my favorite scents of all time! this is one of the very few "sweet mint" fragrances that seem to exist right now the opening is straight up mint chocolate. it soon develops into a powdery mint, like those sweet dinner mints, and then a more grassy/dirty/musky mint. ill try pairing this with twisted peppermint down the line as well. very beautiful scent, mint is so underrated as a main note!

When I first received it I thought it was just ok, but I found myself wearing it a LOT this past winter. It's a very comforting, calming scent, which was quite nice during Covid. I don't get York peppermint, I think because I get a lot of the mallow. It reminds me of a nice cashmere oversized sweater. Sweet and lovable.

Verrry gourmand. It's nice but I have to layer it with a light sandalwood or white musk to make it wearable. Well blended, soft mint candy, like those pastel mints you find at baby showers. Or limited edition candycane marshmallows. The opening was a bit worrying, heavy and too rich but it quickly settles into a pleasant experience. The coconut is definitely detectable but it's creamy and used to round out the mint instead of being the focus. The mint is nicely controlled and not metholated. I was hoping for a nice fluffy vanilla - mint scent, like that in Tic-Tac. Alas, at the opening mint is very raw and preminent but then it evaporates into something stuffy and sweet. Not something I would enjoy :(

The opening was very "hotel pillow mints," but the drydown went intensely powdery on me - to the point where I'm surprised "musk" and "iris" aren't listed as ingredients.

I wanted a cozy vanilla twisted peppermint. All the reviews I read recommended this over Snowshoe Pass for that. What I got was an opening of Thin Mints that turns into another playdough base. I associate it with vanilla, cupcake, wafflecone, and coconut notes. The way these are done often don’t work for my skin and nose. It’s a bummer, but I’m glad I only got a sample. If it stayed as Thin Mints, I would say it’s a keeper. The base reminds me exactly of Sorce Match Made in Heaven before the scent turns into a musty dusty dirt filled mint.

It’s Christmas Eve. I would bath in this stuff if I could. Love Angela’s work and the oh so gorgeous photography just makes the scents. Delicious vanilla white musk (omg) with the kick of sweet Starlight Mint peppermint. Marshmallow note is there but really this wonderful vanillic white musk is the star of the show. For the record SS’s winter fragrances actually capture my childhood winters when, oh gee, it was actually cold out, crisp, and not this wavering 45-57 degrees with wet, mushy grass!

It seems like several niche fragrance houses offer various versions of a vanilla/mint combo, but the addition of the coconut and marshmallow make Snowmint Mallow unique. I don't usually go for foody scents as they tend to have buttery or cream notes which sour on my skin, but this wears beautifully. It's comforting and soft, and very suitable for a variety of situations where stronger perfumes may be inappropriate.

A perfect, go-to winter scent. The opening is sweet, minty, and soft. It gets more powdery over time. I agree with the commenter who said it pairs well with woods and white musks. I adore this layered with Liis Bo - to me, that combo is winter fairy in a forest perfection.
