Cake for Breakfast

Oh no, am I the only one that LOVES Cake for Breakfast? It smells like homemade ooey gooey pineapple upside down cake. Layered brown sugar on the bottom, canned pineapples, and yellow boxed cake. It's so nostalgic for me. I distinctly picture my mom making coffee, while I pull the aluminum foil off a cooled pineapple upside down cake. This is so comforting, sweet and atmospheric. Easily in my top 5 Sorce scents. I will be upgrading to a 100ml when I finish my 30!

Ultra sticky sweet maple syrup scent with coffee. The initial spray the coffee is very strong and nice, the sweetened cake is in the background. As it dries down the maple syrup comes out a lot. I can’t really smell the fruits though. After an hour it’s mostly a maple syrup scent with some coffee

Sticky, Sweet, and Strange. I really thought Cake for Breakfast was going to be a Sorce favorite for me, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. The maple, coffee, and cake form a sticky-sweet-yumminess that's actually quite pleasant and buttery, but the tropical mango and pineapple don't really mesh well with it, to my nose. Throw some cardamom on top and I'm even more confused. I almost wish there was MORE pineapple and mango - they get overpowered by the sticky, buttery cake and maple. I can't stop imagining how it would taste, the mix of cake/syrup/coffee/mango/pineapple, and I think that might be what's making my nose feel so... conflicted. I kind of like it, I kind of can't stop thinking about sour butter. It's a little odd. Not unpleasant by any means, but odd. I love how Sorce does "cake", but it's very very buttery here. Almost "The Cookie Party" level buttery, but with some tropical citrus.

i am so sorry but i absolutely cannot stand this scent. the notes individually are wonderful, but on my skin it smells like savoury south asian food. i don't know if cardamom belongs here, it just feels like this one is a savoury scent trying to disguise itself as a gourmand. absolutely not, i am so sorry!!!

I hate this scent :( out of my samples this one made me gag. The coffee and the synthetic mango sweetness makes my head feel nauseous. I don’t get cake at all the coffee and mango are overpowering and is a weird combo together.

I wanted to love this one but the mango and other fruits are so loud for me! I wanted coffee, maple syrup and maybe a little fruit but this is all mango and very tropical to me! I’m really glad I only got a 15 ml of all the special orders scents because they were all blind buys for me!
