This perfume. I am just... blown. Away. This is one of the most incredible perfumes i have smelled in my life! Absolute work of art, intoxicating, unique, just stunning. A dream come true for the niche fanatic i am. And let me tell you after collecting perfumes for years, it takes something special and different to wow me like this one did. This is a very unique take on the fruity patchouli genre. My rule of thumb for scents, is that they have to be likeable and pleasant. Appealing. Enough w the weird unwearable sht. I do not feel the need to be a niche head wanna be that need something weird an off putting to call this art and masterpiece. To me this is a masterpiece on the fruity genre, a sexy iteration of feminity, gourmand, fall, sexy atmosphere. This is also right up the alley of gourmand niche lovers like myself. The scent: the most gorgeous, sweet, juicy and powdery wild strawberry you’ll ever smell. I think ppl are calling this synthetic because wild strawberry is a rather unusual scent, with a very particular dna and because its really likeable. This pretty feminine too eh. And youthful. To me its a hyper real wild strawberry. Nothing about this scent points to simple or cheap scent whatsoever. If signature scents were still a thing, this would be it for me. This a very patchouli forward scent. Yep a fruity patchouli. The patchouli here truly stands out in the best possible way. Its a minty, foresty and fresh camphoric and herbal type of patchouli, green and natural smelling. Think of a fresh, green botanical garden while you are eating a wild sweet strawberry bowl. Or a dark, green forest with wild strawberry bushes all around you. Sooo aromatic, sweet, powdery, rich, herbaceous... juicy. The leather is very much in the background to ground this scent, barely perceptible and blended to perfection. You can not pick it out almost. It mostly gives to the scent an animalic, sexy af nuance. It does ever so slightly remind me too of a strawberry vanilla hookah scent, in the best possible way. This is a dream fall scent, i see it more for a cooler weather, on a sexy outfit, something casual but not extremely casual. For a party, cocktails, dinner. Movies maybe if on a date. The dna is super unique, i have not smelled a gourmand like this. Has the slightest similar category as la capitale, but very different scents. This is sooo yummy, likeable, sweet, juicy, powdery, sexy, unique. Intoxicating and super attractive with All the complexity and intrigue i want from a Niche house. A true fruity genre masterpiece that has gotten me totally addicted to this and in love w this house and i want all bottles now. Stephan Humbert... well done. 10/10 scent. Female leaning I like to wear this scent during the summertime and I fell in love with two years ago while testing it in hot Italy weather. How is this beauty? It opens up with a juicy Strawberry and Wild Strawberry notes and I love it. It’s quite sweet since there is a caramel note as well but woody and leather notes push the sweetness down after the dry down. I think this is so special for me since wild strawberry brings me back to my childhood memories when picking up those and when stringing them into the hay. I don’t get any Raspberries but I think it blends into Strawberries. This is not typical light girly Strawberry scent, it’s unique like all SHL:s creations. There is all the time certain kind of depth in the background. Juice vibe turns into soft Vanilla and Tonka but I can smell the hint of the Strawberry until the end. During the cold days this is not so beautiful but it’s just my opinion. Anyway this is really different in cold than in really hot so I recommend to test how it differs in your skin. All that synthetic feeling disappears in hot and all the notes are blending better. The hotter the better. Strawberry and caramel melt on my skin into very intoxicating sweet aroma. In wintertime I'm wondering why I even have this perfume and when the summer arrives I remember why I fell in love with this scent. I have noticed that some people compare this to La Capitale by Xerjoff and even think that’s this is redundant if you already have La Capitale but imo there is nothing same how these two perform. There is many same notes in those two and it looks like a same but especially Strawberry note is very different in those. La Capitale is really delicate compared to this. You can really tell the difference on this fragrance between reviewers that tested on skin over a long period of time and those that just wrote a review based on the opening. It is true that this one opens very sweet with a strawberry note. My first thought was wow this smells quite cheap, kind of like a $20 body mist from some teen clothing store. I didn’t like it and said in my mind, well that’s that. I came back and put my nose on it a bit later ... this can’t be the same fragrance ... I must have sleep walked over and sprayed something else on my wrist. I’ve never experienced a perfume change to a larger degree than this one. One of the major differences to me of a good niche fragrance and designer is niche perfumery going through 2-3 transitions and new notes emerging. Most accomplish that by the opening being very short lived followed by a middle that comprises most of the performance and then a skin scent of base notes. Here, the sweet strawberry opening stays around longer, 1-2 hours, but by hours 2-4 you get this smoked leather that’s coming from the combination of patchouli, tonka bean, and leather but smoothed by the vanilla with hints of woods. On my skin, the strawberry is completely gone. The fragrance has done a complete 180. It’s not a mixing of notes, there is no thread of DNA recognizable from the opening to the end ... it’s an entirely different scent. It’s remarkably well blended master perfumery to accomplish this and also to have it be consistent between wears. I still don’t like the opening, I do enjoy the dry down although it’s not that unique. I love the overall scent though because it’s like a magic trick in a bottle that very few others have managed to pull off.

This was a blind buy for me - SHL fragrances are an absolute nightmare to get samples of in the UK and thankfully I really like this one. I've tried quite a few other Strawberry dominant fragrances even the hyped up Mula Mula / La Capitale which I was expecting this to smell similar to with them sharing a lot of notes, I can confirm they go in totally different directions. This one has just a hint of sourness to balance the sweetness, making it Unisex appropriate. The strawberry smells the most natural out of any strawberry fragrances i've ever tried and doesn't have that cloying effect that usually happens when this note is dominant. Anyways there is a lot more to this fragrance than just strawberry, its ever morphing.. some of the other notes shine in the back and add a lot of depth and a touch of smokiness. Truly a unique fragrance which I've come to expect from SHL. After wearing this for a few days everybody comments how 'different' this one is to my other fragrances and how they love it. Would I Buy: Successful blind buy that I received today, may become an all-time favourite in time. Recommended: Absolutely. I always recommend sampling (hypocrite in this case lol) but this is fairly safe.

This fragrance is the definition of duality. An opening of berry fruityness versus a black leather and wood background, almost a masquerade between sugary strawberry lies and the bitter venomy truth enveloped in dark woods; every sniff a different facet, sweet but not cloying or screechy and the more i smell the more i yearn for for it. Truly a dance between sentiments; it's alluring, it's seductive, it's sexy, dark and addictive... poison-like. The name venom incarnat suits it soo much Beautiful blend between light and dark, the sticky caramel and slight tinge of vanilla brings out the best of this fragrance, it's extremely unique too; i can easily see this being worn by any gender, a true unisex fragrance. Criminally underrated (IMO way better and frutier than God of Fire) Such a gem of a fragrance, although a bit on the pricier side, in my opinion it's well worth it. easily brings out 8h+ performance with REALLY good sillage (at least on me) On the wearability side of things, this perfume is best suited for the freezing winter; as the warmth of the tonka, caramel and leather clashes beautifully with the cold, although it can slip into spring/autumn in honour of the cedar and berry accords

It is really difficult to avoid synthetic car freshener with strawberry notes, which is what I get in the very opening going straight to my head. It’s saved because it dies down quickly to a clean leather appearing immediately with the strawberry and another berry muddled in the background. Similarities with Xerjoff La Capitale except La Capitale has a brighter strawberry, sharper leather, incense, and less caramel which forces me to layer with a vanilla/caramel fragrance to balance the sharpness. La Venom is sweeter but never sticky because the caramel hands the baton to the tonka, who is the leader in the dry-down, while the leather still wraps around the caramel and straw/berries buffing any jagged edges that comes with the fruit. I’m surprised this isn’t tart as wild strawberries are listed, but I’m not mad at it. This is very well blended and gets better the longer you wear. Projection is good. Longevity as well. The Byron Parfums Mula Mulas, Xerjoff La Capitale and SHL Venom Incarnate are similar and all upwards $200, so no choice is really a bad one if you like this profile (as I stated on my Mula Mula review).

Sweet Hubba Bubba strawberry bubblegum (the one you'd get in a tape dispenser type package as a kid) with a strong alcohol scent upon first spray. Ever so slightly powdery to my nose. It's yummy! I have a 2ml sample and sprayed it on one spot before bedtime, so I didn't really get to test the longevity yet. The leather note is definitely present once it begins to dry down, as well as the spiced / woody notes. "Overpriced sweet mixed drink at a speakeasy" type of vibe and I'm all here for it! Agree with other reviews saying its a more synthetic strawberry note. Different from anything I've ever smelled (not super experienced over here). If you want something with a berry / slightly spicy woody vibe that's unique and a bit of a weirdo I'd say this is it! This is absolutely intoxicating. I smell lots of red berries and woodiness in this fragrance. I picture being in a very green woody forest with lots of wild berries and strawberries. It’s not too sweet and has a lil bit of sourness to it. Even though I do smell the red berries, they’re still not realistic in my opinion. I also get a hookah vibe in this fragrance..there’s some smokiness as well. I can definitely see this on a man and on a woman, Perfect unisex ! The projection has been good, however it doesn’t leave a trail. Not sure yet how the lasting power is because I applied it not too long ago. All I know is that I need this in my collection.😍🔥

I love a unique scent and this is no exception. I went into this expecting it to be synthetic and it was, and I don't think that's a bad thing necessarily. It's so sweet, but that works for me as a date night, late night walk type fragrance. Is it hard to wear? Yes, Is there a perfect occasion for it? Also, yes, you just have to find it. It's definitely an acquired taste, a lot of boys will think its a woman's fragrance and want something more masculine, but for what it is, it's a masterpiece and smells like a juicy, freshly squeezed strawberry perfect for nights your feeling a little unique. 8/10

If you love strawberry and sticky dark caramel scent but also enjoy something a little more unique, woody with a touch of spice and leather...this is amazing! I was scared about the leather but I’m realizing SHL is a master at blending in smooth leather touches without that being the main in your face note. If you’re a sweet fragrance or even a gourmand fan I think this is your best bet from this new snake line. I will say it’s not beast mode and the longevity is ok. I ended up buying a bottle after trying a decant anyways because it’s hard to come by such a smooth and delicious strawberry scent.

Upon my initial encounter with this fragrance, I experienced an instant affection for it. Having made a blind purchase, I was pleasantly surprised by its delightful aroma, which I believe is versatile enough to be worn throughout the year. Particularly suitable for romantic occasions, I appreciate the prominent presence of berries in the scent, complemented by the enticing notes of caramel, which enhance its allure. I will start by saying, I absolutely love this!! I am a big fan of La Capitale by Xerjoff and I personally 100% smell similarities. Venom Incarnet is a little stronger and the leather is more prominent. I get the strawberry, berries and caramel very strongly and the strawberry is a realistic note. I prefer this over La Capitale due to longevity and it’s slightly stronger on me. I am surprised by the review below but everyone perceives fragrances differently. This is a 10/10 for me. I’ve tried the full serpent range and I have to say, the quality is amazing.

is the strawberry in this synthetic? yes, but I don’t think that’s a fault here. I personally don’t think every fruit note in a perfume has to smell dead ringer realistic and the strawberry here works. This is strawberry syrup with cinnamon dusted berries, sweet vanilla, and woody leather. This is a very sweet and fruity scent grounded with darker accords and it makes for a balanced blend. I think this is one of the more interesting strawberry perfumes I’ve smelled, if not the polarizing.

this fragrance is amazing on my skin.all I get is Carmel and strawberry and the leather making it smooth I tested it in harrods and it lasted 20 hours! beast longevity I don’t know about the projection.love how the strawberry stay until the end the first 1 hours is straight strawberry then after 3 hours the Carmel and depth comes out with a chocolate covered like the sweets you can find strawberry laces.if you love the smell of strawberry laces then this is perfect 😍 🍓

OMG! This totally has the note of wild strawberries (the very small and super aromatic ones that grew wild in the forests I remember from my childhood). I cannot agree with the previous reviewer, this does not smell synthetic. Strawberries have been abused as odorants by cheap food and cosmetics manufacturers and it's indeed difficult to find a strawberry note that departs from that overly sweet and generic "berry" smell. But this is vibrant and real and so beautiful!

I'm not a big fruit lover in my fragrances. But this had enough going on in it that the little punch of strawberry made it stand out and I fell in love with it. I feel it's more feminine but for like a woman who rides a motorcycle and doesn't want to smell too "girly." It's pretty expensive so I'm doing 10ml decants. I would suggest getting a sample before buying a full bottle. But you may be pleasantly surprised like I was.

This was love at first sniff for me. New to niche fragrances, I thought this would be too much for me, but I absolutely love it. First wear was early spring evening and I did 15 sprays at home, another 5 in the car. I just couldn't get enough of it. I doubt 50ml will last me very long. I don't get obsessed often (last time I did it was BR540 about 5 years ago) but this is my newest love love love.

One of the most unique yet realistic strawberry/raspberry fragrances. I agree a bit to what other reviewers are saying regarding the vape juice comment, but that only lasts about 10 minutes after the opening and then the mid and base notes starts to appear and it's an amazing contrasts between berry sweets and dark patchouli-leather base. Extremely addictive.

I get the same DNA vibe with black gemstone. BG is dark and mysterious while VI is a BG but lighter, sexier and more alluring. Am I wrong or.... Anyway I really loved it and I can't stop sniffing my hand. After the first 20 minutes it becomes even more addicting. Extremely loveable. Lasts moderately

This one grew on me. It's very sweet in the beginning but after an hour or so, it tones down, and the leather comes through. I love leather, so I don't mind. To me, it's a leather fragrance with a touch of sweetness from some kind of red berry. Some kind of red berry yes, not necessarily strawberry.

Wow this stuff is good, i blind bought and it was nothing like i expected it was in fact way better. This smells like a raspberry, caramel, sweet scent, i get a slightly feminine touch but that does not mean its not for the male audience. great siliage and scent profile. This is my fav scent atm.

Finally, a proper strawberry fragrance. The price is absolutely atrocious but one may say that this original scent profile is worth the price. Strawberry accord may feel a bit synthetic but it is very charming. An all-year-round fragrance that will fit any time of the day or night.

This smells divine on me and lasts for more than 24 hours! I get berries, caramel, the leather is not too prominent and rubbery, it just gives a slight depth and bitterness which I absolutely love. Also, I have tried it in Winter and Summer and in both seasons it smells gorgeous.

If you want to smell sexy, a little slutty, this one is for you. Sweet fruity carmel with leather in the base. I got a sample of this and am ordering a full bottle right now. Just a note that the best price for this I found on olfactory factory llc . com. Good performance.

Absolutely did not expect to like this one but I’m getting whiffs of it around me from one spray and it’s quite unique with the fruity leather vibe. I mostly get strawberry caramel and leather from this one, may buy a bottle.

Phenomenal. Very unisex, and if you could use only one perfume the whole year, this would be the one. All the strawberries are definitely there, but so well balanced, all the notes can be detected easily.

At first it smells fruity, but its basic and nothing special, but wait to the dry down. it literally smells like a strawberry pie. I recommend this sooooo much. 100% my next fragrance purchase.

This is a masterpiece fragrance!

Venom Incarnat will take you through a bit of an odd journey. Looking at the accords and notes, you would expect a fruit forward fragrance with a bit of woods and spices. That is not what I get. There is a quick blast of a sweet, fruity synthetic opening that only last for a matter of minutes. The dry down quickly turns to a sweet patchouli and cedar scent. I suppose whatever the strawberry note was supposed to be helps soften the patchouli with its sweetness. The cinnamon is always there helping to bring just a little depth to the fragrance. I personally never really get the vanilla, but maybe it’s there helping sweeten up the patchouli. Overall, this is actually a really good fruity patchouli option, however, if you read the notes expecting a light, fruit forward fragrance, you will be disappointed. Another potential disappointment awaits if you are searching for a feminine forward fragrance, to me, this could be a unisex option, but it’s masculine learning, I don’t think too many women would choose to wear this. Overall I would give it a 7/10.

Venom Incarnate gives me Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac vibes not because they smell the same (they don’t), but because they share that same structure... just remixed. If you’ve ever picked up a hint of strawberry in AA, imagine that dialled way up, the vanilla turned way down, and the leather stepping forward. Now you’re firmly in Venom territory. The opening? Full on strawberry lip balm straight out of your early 2000s handbag. It’s girly, nostalgic, and borderline edible. But don’t judge too quickly, give it a moment. That syrupy innocence melts into smoky leather and suddenly it’s all grown up. The magic here is the contrast: sweet vs smoky, playful vs bold. It somehow smells like you’re wearing a leather jacket and puffing on strawberry shisha but make it elevated. It’s got depth, and it’s honestly one of the most unique fruity leather combos I’ve ever smelled.

update: too sweet, too fruity, the bitter/green dark opening was cute but lasted so short, the dry down is not spectacular unless u r crazy about fruity stuff. disclaimer: i wrote this review before i looked up the notes what does it smell like/what do i get from this? fruit, acidic/sour red fruits like pomegranate or berries. bitter sweet like a citrus zest or orange bitters. some kind of a syrup that's maybe a tad green/herbal. have u ever encountered the tobacco used on shisha? it's like a red fruit-flavored damp shisha tobacco. some kind of a champagne or something bubbly. getting something bitter but toxic like a leather seat. if this was a colour, it would have been purple. i have not smelled anything like it, it's very different and i'm digging it big time, smells like a sexy young stepmom, like an evil gold digging bitch, it's great.

Moving from active dislike to hmmm this is quite good. Last year I sampled this a few times and got huge fake strawberry and jam. Today (very cool spring morning) it’s more of a blurred berry almost a jus with sharp tannic edges and softly sweet. No plastic. Plenty of spicy cinnamon and patchouli up front with a clean musk and wood base. Feels like leather is appearing (warm dark brown leather that has been heated by a body and is giving that vibe of comfort). No Animalic edges. I’m surprised at how much I’m liking it. The odd spike of a fruit that’s sharp (like the mango does in GOF) to offset the spicy caramel sweetness. Amazing how much the sample, my nose or both can change over time. Will acquire a proper decant I think.

I didn’t like it at first so I tried it again a couple of days later this time I said hmm let me let my kids and husband chime in and two of them said it smells like something I already have but of course they don’t know what it is since I have so many perfumes then it hit me I regretfully purchased over 20 bottles of HOS and I’m a almost positive it’s one of those because it was one that I didn’t care much about but now it’s growing on me idk what it is there’s something very salty about this fragrance and it’s sweet and salty it’s a very odd combination. I almost gave up on this one but I guess I will keep it in my collection for now. I will update when I find out which house of Sillage it smells like

The opening is like opening a fresh box of juicy strawberries... and that’s pretty much it. Sillage is quite weak, I waited 2-3 hours and could smell a hint of the caramel and vanilla. I couldn’t catch any of the leather or cedar. I had higher expectations on this based on the fragrance’s name, it’s nothing hypnotizing like a “venom”, it’s a girly scent. Edit : Sprayed the rest of my sample a week later. I got a hint of cedar/woody with a lot of strawberries on top. It’s lovely but doesn’t last long at all... After going for dinner, 3-4 hours later I couldn’t smell anything anymore on my skin :( ____ Sillage & Longevity : 4/10 Originality : 7/10 Quality & Value : 4/10 5/10

It's a like for me. If it were just a little more projecting with more sillage it would be a love as the scent is quite good! but I will get a bottle of this and see if the sample vs the bottle makes a difference. I just tried it with a travel spray, it's lovely with definite strawberry and blackberry notes being the most prominent to me with that leathery note really caressing the skin after, and as the skin warms and dries I can pick up the caramel and vanilla more. I don't pick up on the bsalm fir. I feel it leans more feminine and this is a great all seasons fragrance imo. A thumbs up.

Actually a wonderful & unique smelling fragrance. It starts off fairly feminine but the strawberry note is so well done & one that you can't stop inhaling. It actually starts leaning more unisex for a short while & at that stage, I contemplated adding it to my collection but after around the half hour nark, it begins to become super feminine. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this as a guy but I'll be honest, for a woman, this is probably one of the best feminine leaning scents I've experienced.

nice blast of strawberries & blackberries! the berries in this smells oddly natural with a hint of like tartness/sourness? backed up with woods, caramel and a light vanilla note. good performance (7-8hours), slightly synthetic & overpriced imo for a very pleasant but sort of linear scent profile, i dont see how this is considered a winter scent? its fruity, sweet, abit dark & woody, can't detect much leather. best worn in spring, fall or even summer nights too. 8/10

Smells exactly like incense sticks I bought in a little witchy shop in Salem Massachusetts. Slighly jammy but still bright red berries with delicately woody and spicy incense. It brings me right back to my Salem trip and lays on my skin as if I had walked through a cloud of sweet incense smoke. Love! Lasts 10+ hours on clothes. I have Indecent cherry, and see no similarities at all.

It's a grown up berry fragrance, not your typical yummy berry scent. I definitely would not compare this to La Capitale or, moreover, to Mula Mula. Venom Incarnat much more darker than those two. There's a rubbery-like note in the beginning, but I think it's a key twist here that makes the scent dark and sexy.

Heavy on patchouli and leather in the oppening... gets sweeter as it dries down and the berries come through... the strawberry here is very unusual and unique...this is dark, punky and has completely different vibes from la capitale. Big like! Also I'm getting some le labo baie 19 vibes in the air.

Pure strawberry jam. Gave this to my mom as a Christmas present, got to try it out recently. It smells like strawberries cooked with sugar, definitely nothing fresh, but nice, if you’re down for a pastry type experience. Could smell it on myself for the whole day.

The niche version of strawberry Chapstick but add a smooth suede-like leather, and throw in some cinnamon vanilla. At first I was like, what am I smelling??? When you first spray it you will be unsure what is happening. As it dried down, it stole my heart.

My skin is pulling out the leather on me. I can smell a little fruit as I am spraying it but it quickly goes away and it is pure leather with just a touch of cinnamon. Not unpleasant but not quite what I was expecting.
