Minty Mint

A must have for mint lovers with a mint note that lasts. Among a beautiful natural mentholated vibe a zesty touch with a subtle patchouli and musky drydown.

I love it! Cool mentholated vibe what lasts through the head, mid and base notes and has a good and lasting base balsam fir/card/vetiver notes.

The opening is harsh on this one. It’s an earthy smoky mint, almost reminiscent of a menthol cigarette. I was expecting more a sweeter mint. It does smooth out over its dry down to a very nice combination of balsam fir & patchouli.

I admit getting this one out of a bad judgment. The note brakedown seemed to be the perfect summer uplifting fragrance, soothing... Seen the notes and not expecting the composition to be a dense mixture of mint chocolate with darker nuances of black tea? Then a resinous touch of balsam fir, makes this perfume a very hard one to understand. I personally pick 6 notes from this composition: Herbaceous Galbanum, Black tea, Dark Smokey Vetiver, infused with a bit of menthol over a slice of chocolate cake drizzled with a thick drops of fir resin. Not summery... Sad. I'll give this another try. I'll be back. Edited. It is a very strange one, yes it does work like a summer frag but with a resinous-chocolate note that wants to jump on me, maybe is the patchouli mixed with the balsam fir, I think the mint used here is the dry herb and not the fresh cut one. The mintiness last al day and at times it feels a bit overwhelming. There is something on the composition that makes me feel I'm wearing other fragrance at times. I'll keep trying.

As someone who isn't particularly enthusiastic about predominantly green fragrances, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. What surprised me the most was how it develops! From the very first notes, we find exactly what the perfumer was trying to express: an invigorating, mentholated freshness, without the usual excess of chlorophyll. Then, as the fragrance evolves towards its heart notes, it undergoes a transformation. Woody and musky nuances are subtly perceived, at once delicate and enigmatic, while maintaining the initial freshness. This creates a kind of addiction, a constant desire to smell it. Perfume lovers know how difficult it is to preserve this freshness throughout the day, and here, it's a challenge brilliantly achieved! Congratulations!
