Elegant Rose

Taylor of London elegant rose is one BIG rose! it makes no excuses for what it proclaimed to be and it does it quite well! Ay first spray I get nothing of the green note in the pyramid. Just a huge blousey rose, which is fine by me. I mean, if you are going to aim to be a rose soliflower! why not do it with passion? This rose fragrance does just that. I get not a single middle note, but the dry down was surprisingly lovely! The rose fades a bit and I do detect a whisper of the chamomile and a hint of wood. All in all, a VERY satisfying experience! As others have mentioned, use a light touch when applying, as the sillage is monstrous! The longevity is moderate.

I have the body powder. It is very nice and smells like a true rose. I have a seven oz. tin that cost about 15.00 on eBay. This is a good deal!

At first I hated it. I thought, I got a perfume from a spoiled batch, since I didn't detect any rose in it. All I had to do is wait, and tadaaam, the beautiful, feminine, gentle rose finally came out. It is a tiny bit powdery on me, but in a good way. It's not fresh, it's not unique, it's not old, it's not young, it is English rose in a very light, inoffensive way. Great for layering, if you want a more complex fragrance. Sillage is very modest, but the longevity is good.

I have this in the talcum powder as well. I use the powder with a brush on my skin after a shower or to spot treat clothes. It is a very powerful rose scent, so use lightly. I find it is great for layering with other scents if I use it very lightly. Also, the vintage tin canister for the powder is really cute if you're into that kind of thing. :)

Definitely rose! But what I love best about this rose is that it is accompanied by fresh chamomile flowers and other lovely garden greenery. This is a great rose for summer since it's lighter than most rose soliflores as well as a bit bitter, cold, and green with a light soapy dry down.

Although very affordable, this is an exquisitely beautiful Victorian rose. It smells like an English garden. It's reminiscent of Yardley English Rose so if you like rose fragrances, this is right up your alley. This rose is layered with white jasmine and geranium. Geranium in perfume ends up smelling like roses. There is a green scent to this frag as well. It's the chamomile which to me smells like daisies. It's also got very woodsy notes a bit abstract but I could smell some oak moss, vetiver cedar and oak. They are not as strong as the green notes. This is a wet, fresh, green floral shop kind of rose. It's definitely more wearable than Tea Rose by the Perfumers Worskshop. However, it can be quite aromatic and strong so don't spray too lavishly. It can also double as a room fragrance to spray in the air for ambiance. Beautiful, classic floral fragrance.

Beautiful flower shop smell. It's softer and more enjoyable than Tea Rose By Perfumer's Workshop. It's a big rose but not in your face rose, just very pronounced. It smells of garden roses, green and fresh, like the moment that they pick out the roses for you to put into your bouquet at a flower shop. There is also chamomile and geranium jasmine which are nice additional flowers. It smells of everything you love about roses, the green leaves, stems, bushes and the water. It has a dry down of woods. It's really quite simple, pretty cheap but the fragrance is wonderful.

lovely fragrance, but spray with caution as overpowering could not smell other notes only Rose and slightly woody perfect for summer tea party.
