Black Rose Tea

this perfume to me smells like laying on grass in a garden full of flowers in late spring or summer. At first this smells very sweet and citrusy but very quickly black tea becomes the dominating note. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet and the tea note is very realistic.

i have the mist so negative longevity of course but that doesn't really bother me since i mostly use it as a pick me up at home lol. echoing the person below it smells just like a fancy chinese hotel lobby, comforting and elegant in an inoffensive way

I have the hand cream. At first this rose smelled very herbal to me. Not of the dried herbs, but of the freshly picked ones. The herbs seemed to be very familiar although I was not able to figure out was it lemon thyme or lemon balm... Now I get it. It must be the smell of black tea brewed with an added blackcurrant leaf. And the citrusness comes from the mandarin. But in my mind I still see a picture of a girl who went to her garden, cut a bunch of pink roses and then picked some lemony herbs... Normally I am not a big fan of roses in perfumery, but this one kept me intrigued. Overall I find the scent very relaxing and considering buying EdT.

If Verte Envolee is citrus, rose and tea, this one is an even calmer twin of rose and tea with half of the sillage and lower price. It's nice, refreshing and elegant, just intimate and short-lived. I'd say it's a safe blind buy and suitable for office work.

Very nice fresh perfume. Not to sweet, not too musky. Black tea with lemon + rose. Rose is very subtle here, hiding behind black tea, more like tea roses. I can almost scent resinous note of crushed rose leaves and stems.

I like the smell for one split second, then the sweetness just becomes overwhelming and sickening... It smells exactly like the lobby fragrance that a large hotel chain in China uses, which works quite well for a large and ventilated space, but on my body it really rubs me the wrong way...

First, I fell in love with Black Rose Tea Micellar Shower Gel because of the texture, effectiveness and smell, so, as a perfumista, I was curious to test the fragrance from the same range as well. You cannot expect less from as talented perfumer as Nathalie Lorson - Black Rose Tea is one of the best tea fragrances I’ve encountered. On me it smells of a bitter high quality black tea with a slice of lemon that turns into the green tea as the time passes. If there is sugar in it, it’s barely noticeable. It is energising enough to start the day with and calming enough to end the day with as well. I love to use it before sleep. And yes, Black Rose Tea is definitely a unisex fragrance. The staying power and projection are moderate. P.s. Cannot miss the opportunity to praise the sprayer of the bottle, which releases an extra fine mist of fragrance.

Very soft and clean tea rose smell. However it is disappointing that its longevity and sillage is very poor.
