Much like the rest of Daniel Josier’s collection, the quality of this fragrance will not disappoint. It smells expensive, performs all day, and projects well enough without becoming a nuisance to those around you. The leather in here is remarkably well rounded and takes center stage from the opening to the dry down. I typically don’t love leather fragrances, but the layers of powdery florals in this stuff help it to work for me. This has a little bit of that pencil shaving vibe in the dry down that is reminiscent of Santal 33, although by no means is this a clone (or trying to be, for that matter). If you like leather and powder, you’ll love this. 4/5

I have no accurate way of describing this fragrance. All I know is that is smells expensive and absolutely delicious on my husband. It is dry and leathery, spicy and decadent. Niche perfumery at its finest. Better than any of my husband’s Tom Ford or Creed fragrances, this is a 10/10 for a unique profile and lasting power.

I liked this quite a bit on first impression, however after about 30 minutes it smells like Maison Margiela Jazz Club to an uncanny degree on both my skin, and on a tester strip. It is still good, but for my collection this fragrance would sadly be completely redundant. Given Jazz Club can also be found cheaper and has great performance I don’t think I could recommend this
