Virgin Mojito

I love this body splash! I got it at a christmas sale, it was limited edition for summer 2015. I even got a second one since I love it so much. Summer is almost here, and this is the perfect light scent to refresh with after showering or just when I ́m at home. It can ́t compare to a perfume, the staying power is very weak. It smells like fresh ripe limes, with a hint of refreshing mint. I like mojitos in the summer, as well as citrus in general so this is perfect for me. Something I like about it is that I can really "splash" it on my wrists without it becoming too much or feeling like I ́m wasting it - it ́s a lot in the bottle and it ́s so much cheaper than a perfume.

This is really refreshing. I was so delighted by this that I bought also the body butter, which is kind of a weird combination of fresh and super buttery stuff, but in a good way. The body splash smells similar, but of course without the buttery part. I put the splash in an Ikea atomizer that had been lying around waiting for something like this. With the atomiser this scent feels like a gentle moist citrus breeze. When applied this way the longevity is even shorter, but somehow I don't mind. It's brings an instant summer feeling, and I can really appreciate that when it's still +3 C outside.

i was really bored and wanted something for the summer casual use without breaking my bank so hard, i usually love the mojito or gin and tonic kind of smell a lot, so i was checking the body shop if they had anything new, and i saw a giant 300 ml body splash, i knew right away it will suck at longevity and projection but its like 25 dollars here in malaysia, so i was like...lets get this, and i also got a bottle with spritzer to be able to spray, not a big fan of splash. the smell opens with alcohol...give it 30 seconds to dry down a bit, and there you go, you get the mint with a touch of lemon/lime....its so refreshing, and since its a huge bottle, you can go crazy with the sprayer. lasts about 30 minutes tops, but what the hell....can spray all day and it wont finish, probably is a good idea to combine the body shower gel and the cream/butter...it will definitely give a much better performance. very nice for summer casual days :)

Virgin Mojito is a typical eau de cologne. EDCs have higher concentrations of alcohol, are almost always very citrusy, unisex, and typically do not last more than half an hour. They are usually used for disinfection, men can use them as an aftershave, and everyone uses them as a refresher after a shower, and in sweltering summers. Maybe the wording body splash on the bottle misled some buyers that this will act more as a body mist, but it performs and smells like a typical cologne. I found it very lovely as a change from the typical lemon-heavy colognes I have (4711 & Chabrawichi 555). I love the lime note here, it is very true with green nuances and rich zestiness. The mint is just a hint, but adds to the freshness and crisp feel. I love it and I’m holding to the last 50 ML‘s in my bottle.

For a moment smells really citrusy and after that like pure alcohol. When applied the scent simply evaporates and leaves this alcohol smell. Also it dries the skin a lot and the sensation is uncomfortable. If you're gonna use it, I recommend applying a moisturizer first so it won't ruin your skin. Preferably a citrusy one for layering. Don't apply if you have a papercut or something because it hurts like hell.
