I've never smelled the original but after hearing all the buzz, I bought this. It's definitely a Dua scent that needs time to macerate, like a lot of their stuff. At first I was not a fan, because all I could smell were those weird barley candy sticks and some off-putting ginger-like note. Now that's it's settled, it's definitely growing on me. Its longevity is good and sillage is decent too. The scent is still a bit of an oddity to me, but it's sweeter and more balanced now. It would definitely shine in the winter months.

Accidentally got this thinking it was cotton candy nights. I was all confused why this smelled smokey and woody maybe with a smidge of bitter vanilla. Definitely more masculine but it's not bad. Throat burns only a little bit from the cedar.

This is AG Cloud more than MFK BR540. If you ever wanted a lighter BR540 OR a denser take on Cloud, you should really try this. Not a huge fan of Cloud anymore so this didn’t really resonate with me unfortunately. 🤧

Casino Royale Nights is the Dua inspired expression of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, the higher-concentration follow-up to the original MFK BR540 in EDP concentration that became extremely popular upon its release and has seemingly remained atop the trendy list for some time, in a league with Aventus and some others, and the Dua is a great approximation of that release. Saffron mixes with bitter almond and resins, for a sharp, nutty, sweet, dense blend ranges from candied sweetness to sharp powderiness to a bit of darkness. It’s really a fascinating fragrances that is varied and reasonably versatile and practical to wear anytime but especially dresses up well, in my opinion, and performs very well. I don’t think it’s as interesting as many original blends from the house but it’s a great option vs. its inspiration. 7 out of 10

I don't want to call this cheap smelling. But it didn't project a lot on me. And I found the smell to be somewhat annoying after a bit. It's very piney. It has undertones of paint thinner. I think this can happen in fragrances with jasmine and wood. I don't hate it, but I'm not rushing to wear it, either. If you want this vs the real thing, I recommend just saving your money for the ridiculous price of the real MFK. This is just my opinion. The dua has good and bad qualities, but I find the bad qualities really stick out. PINE heavy. Approach with caution.

It is about 85% close to the original. It does not project or last as long as the original but the performance is good overall. The sweetness compared to the original is different and yeah its a bit lower quality of a sweetness for lack of a better description. The nuttiness, florals and overall scent profile is extremely close otherwise. A lot of duas have a price point that makes them not worth it comparing to the fragrance they emulate on a price per ml level but this is worth it comparing to the rip off prices of BR540 extrait nowadays.
