Mocha Valencia

Okay so due to the orange and chocolate and milk, this smells at first slightly like le monde gourmand's meringue magique with the orange, praline and whipped cream, but which is boozy balsamic like liqueur and very much like the orange jaffa cakes along with some creamy gardenia. This one has whipping cream too, but it is more milky by the steamed milk so it's not balsamic like liqueur, but it's more like a decadent chocolate mocha mousse dessert with chocolate covered orange peels and whipped cream, served with a dark coffee on the side and a touch of milk and dark chocolate syrup in the coffee. It is more of a coffee-chocolate centered scent than meringue magique; like mocha with sugared orange, but not balsamic like chocolate liqueur or like a latte. The orange gives that dessert quality to the scent. In Greece we make the spoon sweet with orange peels and it's kinda like orange jam, but a deeper scent like the orange notes are in this one. The smoky peppery amber becomes prominent from the mid phase after maceration and I bet it has amber along with the dark chocolate. The drydown becomes smoky ambery from the dark chocolate and coffee (and the amber I detect) which along with the sour-sweet orange, is giving a subtly sour cherry scent mixed with the peppery smoky amber, since coffee and amber may produce a cherry scent and cherry with amber produce a coffee-like scent usually as in VS Cherry Elixir No 33 and BBW Sugar Cherry Crisp. The smoky amber aspect has a peppery undertone so a more austere scent at the mid and drydown, and I detect the bitterness of the espresso on my skin. The ambery smoky aspect is reminiscent of the smoky ambery caramel in Caramel Apple On A Stick, but not as pungent smoky, so I am not crazy about the smoky ambery later drydown, but the milky mocha orange -sweet opening and mid phase are very nice. It fades into a musky ambery smoky coffee-cherry-like scent reminiscent of DUA Cherry Caramel Praline which isn't smoky though.
