Mandarin Carnival

Big love. Very very effervescent, a bright and bubbly smell of mandarin, white musk, neroli, freesia, and likely ambroxan. I really can’t see how anyone could dislike this. Maybe you could say it’s “boring” but this doesn’t seem like they’re going for deep and complex, this is called Mandarine Carnival and that’s exactly what you get. They nailed it. Watery and transparent but still potent. The citrus dies down after a few hours but overall this lasts quite a while, at least 8 hours on skin. Reminds me of their My Pearls fragrance in that it smells like dryer sheets or fresh laundry at its core. Also similar to Acqua Di Parma’s Arancia Di Capri, minus the carmel note and more watery. Perfectly unisex, who wouldn’t like clean laundry and oranges. Bottle is beautiful.

Possibly my favourite citrus scent. Lovely presentation and Murano glass bottle in sea blue color holds a special juice. The scent of mandarine that lasts and lasts and does not draw food conclusion. It is the scent of mandarin plantation and the ripe fruits are eaten in the shade of the trees, some of them in bloom, still. It is refreshing, true to life, natural and perfect for summer. If only that. Always something bothers me in other citrus scents - either the citrus is just the top that vanishes into thin air after half an hour or the scent is too herbal and masculine or too rich and tiring with the juice sticky and overheated. This is just perfect. And the mandarin lasts thorough the entire durarion.

Instant LOVE! What a great fresh, citrusy perfume! It was on my wishlist for quite some time and my husband surprised me with this beauty for Christmas. This is the perfect orange scent with a nice twist added. It is timeless, youthful, rejuvenating and so smooth! Nothing sharp nor headache inducing here. I think it leans feminine, but a man could also wear this. I was on the hunt for a great citrusy scent and I am so happy to finally hit the jackpot with this. Not to mention the beautiful Murano glass.. the bottle itself is a piece of art!

This is a perfect summer scent! It's so fresh and juicy thanks to the mandarin and peach notes. The tamarind adds a bit of an unexpected twist that keeps it interesting. It's sweet but not overpowering, and the watery notes make it feel light and airy. I get compliments on it all the time.

Great citrus-centered scent! It actually keeps it's mandarin character with orange blossom support for at least 6 hours (which is rare, the fruity, citrusy notes usually last half an hour) before fading into softer version with water, rose and musk prominent. Super-likeable.

The juiciest mandarin, tart but sweet with a gentle woody base. Wonderful scent for spring and summer. It reminds me of holidays in Italy 🍊 and the bottle, like many by The Merchant of Venice, is a thing of beauty.

If Mandarino di Amalfi and Fleur Narcotique had a baby, this is it. Opening is very similar to Mandarino and the dry down hits on Fleur. Beautiful citrus, floral, slightly fruity and tart.

Cheeky, tart and fresh mandarin with delicious bitter-sweet-creamy shades. I love it.

Mandarine carnival I tested last night Firstly it’s unisex but i prefer smell it on women and I bought it for my girlfriend Love it very fresh and gorgeous You should smell it its like you are entering to Mandarin garden Many mandarin and peach that mix well together but the mandarin is more I smell little musk here too but lovable very feminine perfume in my eyes After 1 hours the roses it comes but very soft and nice also you still smell of mandarin in the background love But it has some flaw (wrong) with it One problem is the projection so weak may be if you over spray it you just get 2 hour projection and other thing is longevity thst is about 2 hour or maybe 3 hour So sad :( But the smell and balances so great but about performance no nothing sadly My Rate Is : Scent : 8/10 Performance: 1/10 Balance : 8/10 Projection: 2/10 Longevity: 2/10 Value of money : 5/10 Overall: 4.3/10 (Thumbs up) ———————————————— كارنيوال نارنگي به به چي بگم من از اين بوي خوب ياد باغ هاي شمال ميافتم كه وقتي توي باغ نارنگي وارد ميشين يا يه بشقاب پر نارنگي تازه جلوتون ميزارن به به ميوه شيرين و بوي خوب و بدرد بخور تابستان اما خوب اين عطر كاملا زنانه و دخترانه هست اما خوب ايراداتي هم داره كنار بوي خيلي خيلي خيلي خوب نارنگيش اولين ايرادش ساختار بد اين عطره اصلا ماندگاري نداره اگر ٥ يا ٨ اسپري كنيد شايد ٣ تا ٤ ساعت ماندگاري بگيرين پخش بو در حالت ٦ اسپري سنگين فقط ٢ ساعت خواهد بود و با قيمتي كه داره شايد اصلا به صرفه نباشه اما بوي خوبي داره مخصوصا براي خانم هاي قوي اميدوارم كه اوقات خوبي داشته باشيد

I like this one. I was expecting it to be bitter since some people say it smells like Sens by Diptyque, but it’s not bitter at all, and I don’t see the resemblance. I have a Sens travel size and I don’t like it. I got it as part of a travel-size set in case someone wants to buy it or swap it. This fragrance is sweet, juicy, and clean. The orange blossom doesn’t overpower at all; instead, it comes across as sweeter and more juicy. It doesn’t have anything spectacular that completely blows my mind, but I would love to wear this during the summer. It’s juicy, floral, sweet, and fruity, almost mainstream. it reminds me of Orange Crush Extrait de Parfum by Fugazzi which I would consider this one instead of Fugazzi. I feel like you could find something similar from a mainstream brand, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this one is good. And the bottle design is so pretty.

This basically smells like orange peel. Or, maybe, the orange oil you use on furniture. It’s pleasant, but very linear. There’s not really much going on besides a strong kick of citrus. I’m inclined to believe the notes Ruggine has posted below over the ones shared by Fragrantica. There is definitely some petit grain and/or Neroli going on. I do not get any peach, rose, or bitter almond. My biggest issue with it is that it’s a skin scent that doesn’t really develop into anything else. On the dry down, it takes on a soapy/lotion-y quality but that’s about it. You could peel an actual mandarin and get the same effect. It’s the kind of scent I think I’d prefer as a linen spray or room freshener. On skin, it’s rather boring.

Like its name, it is a gentle and fresh scent with a large dose of sweet mandarin and orange blossom. You need to be a citrus fan to love it because the mandarin note is very, very clear and dominant. It is as fresh as if you really squeezed the mandarin itself. Longevity is very successful. The only problem is that the price is too high for such a solifruit fragrance

I can't help but like this, it's a mandarin smelling perfume, more of the red variety than the green. However (and this is a big 'However') I only like the opening of this fragrance. Once the volatility and zing of freshness have subsided it becomes more like shake n vac, a powdery orange smell. Not particularly appealing to me. Shame really.

I like this. The first spray evokes the scent of fresh mandarins. The dry-down is sweet and citrusy, not heavy or musky. It doesn’t quite smell edible, but it smells like sugar and orange peels. This is a candied fruit type of fragrance. It’s pleasant.

If you’re looking for a simple smooth citrus floral with zero rough edges, this is literally perfection. Nothing to add, nothing to remove... just perfect.

Summer vibes scent with peach and a lot of mandarin. I like it. Light and charming. Quiet scent. Daily wear frangrance but a bit too overpriced...
