Quintessence

This beauty is extremely feminine and glamourous - a scent you would expect to find on the red carpet, leaving a gentle trail of beauty and mystery in it's wake. It's wonderfully floral and beautiful and makes me feel pampered and pretty each time I wear it. I don't walk the red carpet, in fact I rarely walk across dewy grass, but when I wear Quintessence and close my eyes and inhale, this is where I am. Lush, damp, green, floral and breathtakingly new and sparkling. If the opportunity came where I needed to zip on a fabulous gown and mix with the rich and famous, this is the scent I would wear then too. It's a bit of a chameleon, but then Teone is a bit of a magician. There is a small window of spring in Australia where everything is a little damp, and flowers and trees are beginning to bloom - both bold and quietly pretty buds and flowers. If you get up early enough in the morning, when the grass is still damp, and the wood of the trees smell fresh and wet, the buds of flowers are just beginning to open their faces to the sun - this is my Quintessence. When I want to feel spring, feel the sun on my face and smell the first delicate blooms before the hot sun bakes their scent away, I know where to go. It's a perfect blend - never weighed down by any single note - the citrus keeps it fresh and dewy, the sandalwood weaves it's magic by anchoring it all together and keep it from being "too light and flighty, and the floral notes build into a bouquet so delightful you'll wonder why you didn't buy this fragrance sooner. Everytime I think I've found my new favourite Teone Reinthal fragrance, another one rudely pushes itself to the front of the line. And as much as I'd like to say this one is just for us women, that would be a lie. This is just enough on this side of unisex, so you men can enjoy it as well. Just buy your own - don't try to borrow ours or there'll be trouble! This is based on the perfume oil.

My favourite perfume for the past 30 years has been Chanel No 5. I have tried many other brands and natural perfumes that say they smell like Chanel No 5 and have never found any of them even come close. The minute I sprayed Quintessence on, I was blown away. I had no idea what it was going to smell like. I spayed it on and said "It smells like Chanel No 5!!!!!!" I was so excited. I continued to spray on about another 6 different perfumes. I had to buy this one. On The drive home, I kept getting lost in thought, and then I would smell the perfume out of nowhere. I kept thinking, I don't remember spraying my Chanel on this morning. Then I would remember I had sprayed on Quintessence. What also amazed me was the fact I was covered in different perfumes and this was the one I kept smelling. The next day I was eager to try this one again. I could smell it all day. When I got home and hugged my daughter she said, oh wow you smell beautiful. This was over 9 hours after I sprayed it on. Chanel never lasts this long on me. I highly recommend this perfume. While it does smell like Chanel No 5, I think it's even better. It's richer and has a warmth to it that makes me want to wrap my self up in a blanket on a rainy day and snuggle in front of a fire. Thank you Teone for making me smell beautiful.

I thought Quintessence perfume oil was beautiful...and it is...but then I tried the EDP. Oils are always slightly different from EDP for obvious reasons. Oils tend to be heavier and react slightly differently with skin (at least they do with me). The EDP has a lightness and a brightness woven through it that makes it a year round favourite. It is classic and classy, and sensual. The soul of the scent is very much the same. It is a fragrance for a woman - or anyone who wants to be noticed. People are comparing it to Chanel No 5, and yes, I agree there is a similarity - but to the vintage version of Chanel No 5. The Chanel No 5 as it was meant to be. The one meant to be worn to bed with nothing else. Ladylike - a little. Sexy - oooh yes. Little Black Dress sexy. Red carpet sexy. Wear it only if you want to get noticed. I purchased this glorious scent, and it, as well as this review and opinions, are mine alone. I am blessed to be able to call this wonderful creative woman my friend and teacher. Her friendship and patience in leading me through the minefield of the fragrance industry has been invaluable and a gift I can never repay.

Amazing. I don't even know how I can describe this perfume. I wear it almost daily and am always complimented on how lovely it smells. It is the perfect perfume for every occasion, but something special to make you stand out from the rest. It feels unique to you, always, and never fails to impress.

Quintessence is so chic and ladylike scent, so I felt I'd like to wear the simple but beautiful clothes when I wore this scent. But, the scent is intertwined intricately. First, Bergamot and Mandarin Orange open, and these keep small. The main material Jasmine (that's really King/Queen of scents) is very white and Madagascar Ylang-Ylang, Orris Root, and a little Rose will make it gorgeous. Concurrently, I feel something woody and earthy scents silently by Patchouli and Clary Sage on my skin. (Sandalwood isn't appear enough here) This makes scents smart. The slightly sour part will be a place where you can separate likes and dislikes. Yes, I like it. It will be a partner of the modern classical fashion.

I've been using Teone's scents exclusively for over a year now, and Quintessence is by far my favourite. As soon as I spritzed it on, I was confident it was my scent. It's just so elegant and glamorous! I'm quite literally addicted to this perfume. I enjoy Teone's vast array of scents and will often wear her different scents for various different occassions and so on, but since I've had Quintessence, I've been obsessed with spritzing it on whenever I get a chance, wherever I'm going, whatever I'm doing. This perfume is a stand out! Thank you Teone, this scent is absolutely sensational.
