Golden Glaze

This funnily enough isn't super close to by the fireplace to me. I have every dupe known to man and it's doesn't smell like them or the og side by side. It smells IDENTICAL to a scent called star smoked amber from Victoria's secret. Which was my favorite scent I've ever smelled and was discontinued so I was elated to find this. It smells like a strong thick honeyed amber on steroids, with smoke, ash, caramel, leather and maybe a hint of spice. It's not as oriental and spiced and nutty as BTF. BTF comes off a lot more musky and maybe a tad sweeter.. this comes off with a leathery nuance and very amber forward. Idk why they are marketing it with those notes or trying to market it as a dupe. When I first smelled it BTF didn't even cross my mind and that's great.. It's a beautiful sweet/smokey blend that's its own thing. A lot of people will probably find it polarizing if they are into more traditional scents but if you enjoy niche or edible/inedible blends you'll likely enjoy this. Same if you're a fan of the BTF scent profile. As an amber and smoke lover it's one of my favorite things I've ever smelled.

Oh I like it! Smells like a bonfire! On the drydown I smell a good amount of musk and very realistic pepper. Very nice. (not wearing this near my firefighter husband, it will remind him of work 😂)

definitely more of a unisex fragrance, the woody middle note is very prominent. At first application there's almost like a smokey top note but for me its not overbearing. I would use this fragrance more for layering under sweeter perfumes to give them more depth rather than wearing it alone. Once it dried down on me the Cashmere and Vanilla notes are the most prominent. I see people comparing this to By The Fireplace but I personally like this one wayyyy more. BTFP gives me too much of the smokey note. For this retailing at $60 I think it's a good option for someone on a tighter budget wanting a fragrance that's in the BTFP realm, but not an exact "dupe"

ACTUALLY, VERY GOOD! The price point is $60 USD so, really cannot complain. It does have a spiciness from the pink pepper and clove. But I honestly think the Balsam, cashmere on the bottom comes through more. I can see where it smells slightly, and that's a vey slight, like by the fireplace. With the notes being similar it would be a reasonable affordable "dupe"....I think it's more like a dupe of a better looking cousin of BTFP.
