Continuum

Fun winter frag for men, got a sample recently and I like it. This everything I want in a scent for the colder months, however, I feel like it's missing a certain je ne sais quoi. I can't really put my finger on it, but it's missing something. It's sweet and dark. On paper, I should love it. It's and Oriental amber and in the same genre of fragrance as Luna Rossa Black, Spicebomb, SWY, and Most Wanted. It's different but not as unique as some similar styles frags. Longevity is good, at around 8 hours. It's a solid offering and it's not too loud. The projection is good in the first few hours, but it's a somewhat muted scent which may it great for more discreet encounters. I wouldn't pay more than $50-60 for it and I have seen it hovering around that price. It's a great buy if you can get it for under $60. I prefer it by miles to SWY and the Wanted frags, but maybe not quite as much as SBE and LRB. It would probably be good for layering as well. It's much higher quality than a lot of ME frags you see floating around within striking distance of these price. I'm sure a bottle of this will end up in my collection eventually. Tumi has shown that they can hang with the big designers, I think they just need to take more risks with some of their frags. I will leave more thoughts after a few more wears. Update: I ended up buying a bottle for $35 shipped, fantastic deal. I have been wearing it a LOT this week and I can confidently say it has grown on me. I'm starting to fall hard for this one! Every time I wear it, I like it more the last time. The quality is excellent, the notes are well balanced. It's somewhat quiet, but lasts and lasts which I really like. It honestly has over 10 hours of longevity on skin, but stays pretty close to the skin for most of its life span. I honestly can't remember the last time I got a fragrance for so cheap that I enjoyed this much.

I have sprayed this on paper twice in the store, pretty sure I will buy it. Me and the wife both took notice immediately when smelling it. Going to try it on skin next, but I love everything about this one, so far. I will come back when I actually wear it. 9-16-22 -- Bought the gift box/set from Belk today. $129 total for a 100 ml and 30ml. Still love it. Now that I have worn it, the drydown ends up being more suede/tobacco-ish and less sweet kind of the same ballpark as Code Absolu but not as much vanilla in the dry down. I will wear it for a few days and see how it performs.This stuff smells great and barely anyone talks about it. Go try some. 10/1/22 -- I really love this stuff! I left it alone for a week and just sprayed it on my arm, it is such a subtle, gorgeous scent, I love every part of it. Too bad only a handful of us will know. 2-26-23 Absolutely still love this stuff! The leather/suede notes are so pleasing. Tumi is mostly known for their leather goods and luggage, so this is the most fitting for the brand. Wearing it today at the wife's request. The bottles from the line are very cool too, the mechanical nature of the caps and the heavy bottles are just so cool. Another review mentioned a menthol hint in there and there is. Very clean brand new suede feeling. Again, unique subtle fragrance that Tumi blended very well. The other fragrances in the line are very nice too, but I had to own this one!

Was sampling a few perfumes in-store when I came across Continuum - which pretty much stopped me in my tracks in a good way. The first impression is smooth and creamy, like a vanilla-coke flavored cigar but without any obnoxious smokiness - although it does have a bit of smokiness. I'm already a fan of smoky/incensy scents, and combining this with resinous amber and dark musk is really unique and alluring. Having had a sample of Kinetic by Tumi - I was expecting something unique and modern. I would say this is both of those things. It's also obviously very male - and definitely leans more mature and more with a darker, more intimate sedated setting - more like something to wear in a lounge setting as opposed to a club setting. I honestly really like this scent so im glad I tested it on a whim. The main downside here is the price - even with a great smell and good performance, it's a bit overpriced, although not enough to be a dealbreaker. Obviously - this would be a really really bad blind purchase unless you 100% know you'll love the notes. Overall, I give it a 8.5/10. It's a really great scent and definitely not something you can get from the average designer.

I own 3 TUMI fragrances and 2 TUMI suitcases. All are excellent but I must write my opinion of Continuum... probably the most hyped after TUMI 19 degrees (which I own and is my favourite). Continuum is strong, sillage and longevity are amazing, 8hrs plus and pushes strong. Warnings: it might smell like an empty glass or bottle of whiskey to some. Also... I can not pinpoint but it has a "pissy" note, like those highway toilets lol. I bet that note comes from the Cistis Incantus as no other perfume I know of has this pee note. It is a creative perfume, highly recommended for low temperatures and outdoors etc. It is NOT office safe and definitely not for close spaces. Rating: 1. 19 degrees - amazing and a compliment puller 2. DUSK - a unique, soft but versatile freshest 3. Kinetic - a masculine a bit smokey Sauvage alike 5. Continuum - winter, low temperature, outdoors only. I will never follow these glazing "reviewers" who smell a fragrance for 5 seconds and say "this is the best" ... my mistake. Nonetheless, this is a solid, very captivating and interesting offer from TUMI. I will wear it on my winter ski holidays! Cheers TUMI!

Blind bought and am so happy I did. It smells like a slightly spiced coca cola with a hint of cherry and tobacco. Then has a woody smokey oud. Or it can be described as a woody smokey Dr pepper with tobacco. At first it hits you with the cola zing then as it dries down it gets the woody smokey sweet tobacco base. It's mass appealing. The oud isn't your normal oud. It's deep wood and smokey. Not the traditional oud . It's a masculine evening date night type of fragrance . It does have some similarities to DG the one. The one smells more mature man to me . I'd you like cola warm spice tobacco and mass appealing dark bites this could be for you. Performance is pretty good. 2 wrist sprays and one on my chest projected for about 3 hours. I was able to still smell it on my skin after about 8 hours. I found it interesting how the chest spray that kinda of baked under my shirt kept that cola note for a very long time. Like 6 while the other sprays turned into that woody smokey amber sweet tobacco. Also a big plus on the bottle. feels very high quality and the caps are awesome . 8/10

This smells very Niche in quality. Middle Eastern Vibes. Oud is definitely present but not overly animalic or dirty. The Amber, Iris & tobacco are there as well. Musk is pretty present as well. Not really getting much mandarin here. This fragrance is pretty dry smelling and there's very little sweetness here. This is a dark, strong, resinous and present scent. This would be better dressed up in my opinion. CEO vibe in scent. It smells very expensive. Not for beginners or for anyone in their 20s unless they have a refined nose and are a little daring and appreciate more dark and unique scents. This would probably be better suited for cooler days or climate controlled indoor settings. This overall is a very nice fragrance. Longevity seems really good so far. It's a very dense scent. I'm sure this will eventually reach discounters but not likely for awhile. I had Macy's Star Rewards and used them for this. Got a 100ml gift set with a very nice full sprayer and presentation 1oz spray bottle for around $100, not bad considering a 1/2 ounce bottle is selling separately for $55.

Continuum is a great scent for cold weather and situations where you don't want to be too loud. It's a slightly sweet, spicy, long lasting scent that stays within arms length. I like to use this one as a work scent in the winter and fall. A lot of my favorite winter and fall frags can be polarizing and are loud, but this one is a lot more subtle. When it comes to performance, Continuum is no slouch. This easily lasts for over 8 hours on skin, and the projection is strong on initial spray, but quickly settles to a nice little two foot scent bubble that lasts a long time. I have never had trouble smelling this until the end of my work day. This can easily last up to 10 hours before it really fades away. As for price, I picked this up a few weeks ago at Burlington for only $25 (50 ml bottle). At this price point, it is an absolute steal and fantastic value! I have a pretty large collection, so a 50 ml bottle works well for me. If you need a larger bottle, the online prices definitely skew higher, but even around $50-60 dollars for the 100ml it is worth the money.

I have been hearing about this fragrance for years and now I understand why Tumi Continuum is so well loved. I just walked into my local Burlington coat factory and stumbled across this fragrance and the price for a 100.00 ml was 29.99 and I didn't think twice about it. This is a really good fragrance that does smell of high quality and might I say, niche quality in a designer bottle is how I would describe this fragrance. Sweet , spicy tobaco, woody scent that is great for date night, work, or a night on the town. Not good for summer days but I believe this can be worn on summer evenings unless you live in a humid climate. Projection and longevity is way above average. The orris root in this fragrance is amazing to me and I do pick up on that oud accord as well and the resens and citrus notes up top are decent at first blast. This fragrance was a steal for 29.99 and I'm happy I finally got to sniff this myself and add it to my collection. This is a 10/10 fragrance for me and I suggest you hit up your local rack stores and try and find this while you can.

Wow, wow, wow! This is one of the cheapest fragrances I've bought at retail and it's one of, if not my very favorite recently aquired fragrance over the past six months. The performance is great, and sillage is very good also. The scent profile is not 100% unique but the few fragrances that I own that do resemble it are MUCH more expensive and are very unique themselves. If you want to know how it smells, I say it's 70% Grand Soir by MFK and 30% Dior H'omme Parfum, and the performance is actually pretty darn close to those two fragrances as well. So I'm sure you're probably already thinking that those are two amazing fragrances and that there's no way it can be that good, but I assure you that it is!!! Just go out and sample it and you'll see, I think it might be the best release of 2021, but I still haven't had a chance to smell Stronger With You Absolutely or Lalique Black in White yet which are two that I know I'll love. But don't pass on the opportunity to get your nose on this one.

While I was taking my standardized tests I was seated next to a guy who was wearing this, and throughout the very boring test period I kept smelling something amazing until I realized it was him. After testing was over I had to ask him and he responded with one I hadn't heard of, so obv I looked into it. Deep, mysterious, powerful, long-lasting. Stunning blend of the composition, I can barely tell the notes apart (in a good way, of course) the structure of the notes is built so that there is no overpowering, it's all knit into one quilt of ambery goodness. Ideal for winter and late autumn. Tried it on while I wore a turtleneck and it was the best decision ever, lasts eternally on fabric. It was literally made to snuggle up with. I also think this could be worn by anyone, this isn't so strictly masculine but it's definitely attractive, head-turning, sophisticated.

What a pleasant surprise! Wasn’t quite sure what to expect, especially from a fairly new designer line but dang, this is nice. Has a subtle, warm and spicy air that goes great on crisp Fall/winter days. Wears well for the office or even a night out. Lasts easily 8+ hours with decent silage well into the wear. This isn’t one that screams “LOOK AT ME!! LOOK AT ME!!” and that’s exactly what’s great about it. Compliments the wearer in a refined way (as a scent should imho). The musk is very well-blended, so this one never becomes overly powdery, which is a huge plus for me. Never blind buy, but pick up a sample and hopefully you enjoy! Disclaimer: I am by no means a professional, my nose is certainly not as refined as others. I’ve just started to enjoy the journey of trying the bazillion different scents out there. Cheers! :)

The Tumi store near my office had the other new Tumi fragrances available but just recently got Continuum in stock. This is far and away the best of the three. It is the best designer woodsy fragrances I have tried.I get the amber and mandarin, but the main theme is warm and woody... with the western style oud amping up the woodiness without providing any animalic baggage (no pun intended). I put this on my wrist at lunch, and when I walked in a colleague’s office twenty minutes later, she made a huge deal about how great I smelled. I had worn Layton to work that morning, and she said nothing, but Continuum got me the attention. The bottle is gorgeous for all that is worth. I took a sample away with me, and I will be back for the full bottle. It is fantastic.

For a new fragrance house they have done very good so far. 3 releases and all 3 are real good. I am very impressed with Tumi. Now with Continuum it is a solid cool weather and night time fragrance. At the top I pick up some frankincense and amber. As it drys down the oud and some leather start coming through and I can pick up whiffs of tobacco. It gets a lil musky in the deep dry down. Even though I'm not a big fan of oud I really like the way it is used in this and that's saying alot cause the only fragrances with oud in it that I actually enjoy and wear is Tom Ford's Oud Wood, Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir and this Tumi Continuum. It lasts pretty long like 9 hours and has decent sillage around an arms length. I wonder what's next for Tumi...

Tried it two days in a row, it's just amazing. It's kind of a tonka bean Tobacco Vanille but it's not a fragrance that's exactly like anything else on the market. Kind of like Armani Code Profumo, or Jazz Club, or the One but in it's own direction. My wife went crazy on this one and it reminds her too of Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford but different. It has a caramel-like and chocolatey vibe, it's sweet but not too much and has a strong high end cigar vibe. The oud just adds a nice different smokiness and the florals are definitely noticeable, making it lighter, more balanced. I swore not to buy any more fragrances for some time but this stole the highest place on the list of the fragrances I'd like to buy.

#1203 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is trying to be Clive Christian "C for Men." Not as complex and floral notewise, but nevertheless it's still pretty much the same scent. I really like the Clive Christian "C" (though the "Woody Leather and Oud Intense" is their best fragrance by far), but for me this slightly less floral character is a plus, not a minus. Still, how many woody tobacco and amber scents does a man really need? For me it's apparently too high a number to calculate because I keep collecting them. This is a good performer and inoffensive. Office or date wear, versatile for any role. Cooler weather. Nice price. For me it's a solid blind buy. And I really like these locking caps!

Continuum is a continuous sequence in which adjacent elements are not perceptibly different from each other, although the extremes are quite distinct. In short, the name fits the fragrance perfectly. Smell it on a card or in the bottle and it’s a spicy, grass filled glass of nicotine. Yes. Nicotine. Here’s where the name comes in... A few sprays on my skin and it’s so perfectly sweet with the same opening, just smoother...creamier. Almost edible. The nicotine dials down to more of a Swisher Sweets/honey type of scent and it’s really one of my favorites. Definitely the my favorite Tumi. Probably not the most mass appealing so test it on your skin first. Then go from there.

Why are there not more people talking about this fragrance. I smelled every mens fragrance in the store (50+ different scents) and not one smelled like this cologne. Out of the 50, 35 of them smelled alike with their own variations. So very unique in my opinion a must have. Definately a fall/winter scent or a late night sexy date, club, or cigar bar scent. There is a lot going on with this fragrance. I put this on at 5pm and still could smell the scent on my undershirt (which the cologne was not directly sprayed on) the next morning at 9am. I have been search for my new favorite scent and this is it. Go buy it. Before they raise the price.

I fully agree with the positive assessments here. Now let me ask you something. Do you think someone with Tumi's bankroll would hire a schmoe to create their perfume? That they'd put schlock on the market? Nah. Nineteen Degree and Continuum are incredibly under priced right now from the discounters and the best values on the market today. Grab them while you can. Update: This stuff is intoxicating. Love it, and my collection has all the immortals, in fact just bought Deep Vintage Original Release Batch ZK2BN1 (1992) Guerlain HERITAGE 50ml EDT, Jean-Paul Guerlain was perfumer.

I didn't have high expectation when a suitcase company released some fragrance last year. Then I heard some of good review about it. Now after months of waiting, finally I have one in my hand. I'm surprised how good it is from the first spray, delicious and intoxicating. The presentation is also excellent with thick and heavy bottle, nice design and shades. It's warm amber with olibanum and labdanum (cistus), bit powdery from oris root, bit bright and sweet from mandarin, and lot of tobacco leafs, velvety suede, and oud wood in the base.

I wore this for the first time today. I put it on at 7:00 am (6 sprays) and 12 hours later when I was back from work it is still filling the house. I like this one but don't love it. This if anything is a perfect fragrance for office wear, semi-formal events, and other similar types of events that you don't need an ultra-sweet or an ultra-intrusive fragrance that lasts a long time. It is really a step above most designer fragrances out there. My oldest son smelled it in the air in the evening and said our house smells like old money lol.
