Une Nuit à Bali

At first spritz it is a lovely quiet warm hug. The saffron is there with it's soft spice. The sandalwood is grounding and quietly exotic. Amber giving a background touch of sweetness. A hint of bergamot. All in all - nice, but not brilliant. So I clicked like, took off my Want list and carried on with my day. 45 minutes later I started smelling little blooming jasmine flowers and suddenly sparkling ylang ylang. Colors and sunlight began playing all over this lovely warm background. The amber is warming up, becoming more red-golden. So gorgeous. My experience with it is like sitting on a beach at dawn. The warm beige sand in the dawn light is lovely, but a bit flat without the sun having fully reached the sky. As you sit, the sun rises and begins glittering off the wet sand, giving texture and brightness. Tropical flowers begin opening. Butterflies emerge, stunning beetles make their way through the trees, hummingbirds wake up and start seeking out nectar. The oud warms and sends out its scent into the warming air ... Now I'm loving. Sillage on the soft side. Longevity rather soft as well. So beautiful while it lasts though.

Very beautiful, soft and naturally smelling perfume, calm, powdery white and yellow floral with a woody base. I mainly feel ylang ylang, jasmine, and soft sandalwood. UNAB opens with a little spice and soft citrus, the heart is quite floral, and the base is still powdery floral with a touch of woodiness. Oud is very faint here, it only gives a hint of smokiness, I bet many people won't even notice it, I'm just sensitive to oud and that's why my nose managed to detect it. UNAB gets sweeter towards the base, probably due to amber and vanilla. Very, very round, no sharp edges, the quality is wonderful, UNAB smells like some very expensive spa, it reminds me of relaxation and makes me feel myself all pampered up, it's like a final touch of your daily beauty routine. I highly recommend it if that's what you are looking for in a perfume.
