Casanova 2161

Casanova 2161 is a clean, hay-like vetiver fragrance that starts off with a juniper berry note, which alludes to the green, grassy, pine tree nuance that you smell in the fragrance. The grassy pine tree nuance of the juniper berry is engulfed by the smooth, clean, cosmetic, waxy scent of the iris note, which gives the fragrance an aromatic, musky, floral, woody smell that dries down to a beautiful hay-like vetiver scent that is perfect for men and women. I love to wear Casanova 2161 casually during the spring and summer days, but I also like it for a simplistic nighttime fragrance right before bed. I recommend it, ya'll. Two thumbs up from me, but do not base your opinion off of me. For any fragrance, read reviews before buying it, but take them with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion regarding smells. Some people love a specific fragrance. Some people hate it. My advice is for you to get a sample of ANY fragrance before you ever buy it. That way, you can assess it yourself and have your thoughts, rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. So, do not let my opinion influence you.

Smells like a similar-veined airy watered-down version of Creed Spice And Woods. Delightful... smooth.... but stays close to the skin after four hours or so. Overly-priced just for that. Best bang for the buck is The Dua Brand 'Bois Precieux et Epices' for a similar scent that lasts longer at about one third the price.

Bright juniper opening with an earthy vetiver that gets greener. The iris is powdery but not lipsticky and disappears within half an hour. There might be natural vetiver in this giving the initial earthiness but after a few minutes there's a grapefruit note that makes me think there's more vetiveryl acetate. By the dry down the iris is gone and within an hour so is the earthiness and it's just the vetiveryl acetate. The performance is decent but it smells exactly like Molecule 03 for nearly twice the price.

A warm, fresh, beetroot-stained vetiver, mellowed by a carroty iris and a splash of watered-down, lemony gin. Like sipping a sunset cocktail in the garden—rich soil, the earthy sweetness of root vegetables, and a lukewarm Tom Collins in an old jam jar.

This scent was nice, but not for me. It almost smelled like Christmas, in a way, which is weird because it seems like it's unpopular for the winter time. Really green, vetiver with a hint of iris. However, it lasted maybe an hour on me before I could smell nothing. The longevity sucked. I definitely won't be using the sample or buying a full bottle.
