Khaddy

This is an absolutely beautiful airy floral fragrance with great sillage, projection and longevity. It is suppose to be duping Tilia but I have never smelt that. On first spray, it had elements of Valaya, and Fleur Narcotique or their dupes but leaning more floral, a tiny bit sweeter and brighter. I wasn't surprised to learn that the Perfumer behind Tilia (the inspiration) is Quentin Bisch. I had tested this at my local Chemist and when I sprayed my wrist some caught my coat. OMG, the scent lasted for days on my coat. I had to purchase a 100ml bottle. It is such an uplifting and bright scent which makes me feel happy despite the constant rain and freezing temperatures in the UK at the moment. This is so good for the price and the performance is great. It is definitely worth a try.

Yesterday I tested it and immediately fell in love. Still, I waited until today before buying it. Real love. Linden, Jasmine and wood, I felt spring is really here. It lasts more than 8 hours, the sillage is exceptional, I only got compliments when wearing it. Edited: It smells just like Tilia. Maybe a bit stronger, which is not bad at all.

After many years, I found a compliment magnet! If you find it just grab it and you won't regret it..

I have recently reviewed Velvet leaf by Monkoku, also a Tilia clone, and despite the fact that this one has grass listed* as a top note, I find Velvet leaf greener and fresher, more contrasted - at least initially. It does give an impression of standing under a blooming linden tree. Then the typical linden scent slowly fades away and it becomes predominantly just jasmine. Since then, the performance has slightly improved, but I would not classify it as an extrait. This one is sweeter and muskier from the start, very jasmine forward. The linden note is still there in the drydown, but turns deeper, reminiscent more of a linden honey rather than blooming flower, I guess it's the contribution of vetiver. Longevity (about 3h) and projection are weak, weaker compared to VL. *As it's often the case, the notes listed on Fragrantica are either inaccurate or missing.
