Bombshell Midnight

Wow, this is beautiful. Opens with a fleshy black cherry and a whisper of bombshell dna... transforms into what I imagine Roses Vanille would smell like if it had cherry instead of Rose, then dries down into something that smells a kin to YSL Black opium over red. As someone who has grown out of her love for bombshell, but still holds great sentiment for the line and Victoria’s Secret fragrance in general, I am over the moon that this sent takes a slight departure from the line, and also smells divine. Like most bombshells this fragrance has above average sillage and longevity. And when purchased right now with the buy one, get one free EDP sale is definitely worth the coin. I would say if you don’t already have tease sugar fleur, go ahead and pick that up with this or if you’re like me and had to have tease sugar fleur at the moment it returned, check out the bare line or, of course, you could never go wrong with the OG very sexy. I also don’t know how long this one is going to stay in production so maybe it’s worth buying two if you try it and fall in love.

My friend blind bought this and Heavenly Dream Angel for his mom and gave me the other two he bought. (buy 2 get 2 free yk) I knew that I was going to love Dream Angel so I smelled this one first. I do not know much about perfumes nor do I know how they will sit on me etc... THIS PERFUME CHANGED EVERYTHING FOR ME. I need to find other perfumes like this one so I know why I love this one so much. There is only a faint cherry/ vanilla scent on the dry down for me, the first spray being super flowery and almost overpowering but the dry down is so worth it. I do NOT like straight vanilla, or anything too sweet but this perfume is the perfect amount of peony and warmth for me. Perfect for everyday wear and my new signature until I find something new!

i got it during clearance 50ml for 40 USD, at the first spritz in the instant u got the dark cherry scent. the cherry is like the dark cherry from dark forest cake so like the cherry is sweet is that make sense? then after 20-30 mins its start so smell velvety and the dark cherry blend together. Idk if i can consider it as gourmand? because the dark and the sweet is also still fresh in the sense of instead of hot sweet scent its like cool and icy sweet scent, u still get the woody scent but its more into the background and really subtle overall i really love the scent and i also use the body lotion together easily get 6-7h

Okay, I'm convinced some of you were simply in a terrible mood when you wrote these reviews for Bombshell Midnight, because to be fair, I'm not sure you're giving this cherry gourmand enough credit. 😂 The classic Bombshell DNA is present, but it's richer and more creamy. A seductive blend of rich black cherry, soft peony, and creamy vanilla, all grounded by warm blonde woods. The crisp rush of cherry paired with the sparkling romance of the peony creates a flirtatious balance. Is it elegant? No. It's Bombshell! It's not meant to be. Is it addicting, playful, and sensual? Absolutely. ☺️

MY FAVORITE BOMBSHELL!!!!! VS has gone beyond its limits with that one. Bombshell Midnight is an amazing cherry blend with vanilla, not artificial cherry or anything like most of the cherry notes. This is sweetly sexy, attractive, and extremely feminine♥️ I love layering this with woods, vanilla, or rose-based notes to highlight the vanilla and woods but even without layering, this goes well. I get complimented a lot. Highly recommended✨️✨️

I got this last week with a great coupon! I was expecting it to be a bit more deep because of the name, but regardless, it's still lovely. I put it on today and was walking around the house and all of a sudden I thought, it smells like the mall in here~! :) In a good way -- Sometimes when I enter the mall, I think, hmmmm whatever that is, it smells nice! Well ladies.....this is it! Enjoy!

Bought a travel spray of this on sale randomly just to try and was blown away. I'm so picky with florals but the tart cherry and vanilla burst out pretty instantly and it feels like a sexy hug. Smells like Lost Cherry's older sister who knows how to have fun.

One of my favorites, the cherry is done just right, with a subtle musk underneath, it lasts for hours as well.

This is so fresh and beautiful. I love it.

The best VS fragance ive smelled

This has a distinct dry-down that has been seen in MANY designer fragrances, but not usually in Victoria's Secret scents. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned how woody it is-- not the woodiest scent by any means, but woodier than most of VS's frags. Although the notes are similar in sound to the Bombshell Intense, that one is way more vanilla-cherry-forward, and more similar to the other Bombshells. This does have cherry, but a much deeper cherry, almost more similar to a black currant-type note. The vanilla is also fainter. What scents this reminds me SO much of on the dry-down are many of the Valentino fragrances like Voce Viva and Donna Born in Roma, and more than that, Prada Paradoxe Intense! This has that slightly vanilla woodiness, and I SWEAR there is an oakmoss note, even though it is not listed. I saw someone say there could be some type of pine note, so we must be picking up on the same green scent. Because of this, it may come off as pretty generic for some, as this scent profile tends to be pretty popular. I also know any moss-type notes can be controversial, so if you're looking for your regular sugary sweet VS frag, you've been warned. Finally, I don't really get the peony in this that I get in the other Bombshell fragrances... lots of white floral is what it seems like, maybe jasmine or orange blossom. Peony normally pulls watery and soapy on my skin, and this isn't that. I feel like those saying the peony is overwhelming could be talking about other notes, but it also could just be my skin chemistry. In short, I like this fragrance, and the scents it reminds me of are many that I love, so I do think if I find it on sale I'll pick up the smaller bottle. That having been said, it is generic, and the notes listed seem pretty misleading in my opinion.

This is what I expected Bombshell Intense to smell like. Bombshell Intense wears very artificially on me. I suspect cherry is a very challenging note to get true to life. Bombshell Midnight is the closest I think I've come to a realistic cherry and it's probably the black cherry twist to it. It's a touch tart for a black cherry as I expect them to be sweeter. However, I don't get the cough syrup/ marschino vibe that sometimes comes out in cherry notes. One first spray the peony seems most prominent and the cherry dancing behind it, kind of sparkling a bit around the edges. I suspect there's a bit of white floral mixed in with the peony as this peony floral component seems softer in comparison to most of VS Bombshell peony notes. The starting vibe is a little fresh & playful. It does seem the peony & cherry are mostly top notes that both mellow into the heart. I really love this fragrance as it settles into it's heart and base notes most. It's a lovely transition to more of a cozy & grown playful vibe. That's when the soft vanilla and woody bits start to glow/ shine through. What's most disappointing is the performance. Both sileage & longevity are seriously lacking IMHO, even for a VS fragrance. This is a fairly close sitting scent from the very beginning. While there are times I prefer that. I really wish this had better projection (arms length would be fab) so that I could enjoy a little bit more of a scent trail as I move around while wearing it. I also get maybe 2 hours of true wear time.

I would've put this in a light pink bottle with red vertical stripes. It doesn't smell dark or mysterious. It's a pretty, daytime, fruity scent with a hint of clean. This perfume is predominantly floral. 70% floral and 30% fruity. I'm not getting vanilla other than a general linear sweetness. It's 6/10 sweet. I do smell continuous cherry throughout the wear, but it's very blended. The cherry is not bold or juicy. It's not almond or boozy, either. It's sweet and ripe cherry that is slightly tangy. The peony comes off very clean but not like shampoo. I am fine with a travel spray. It's not unique. It's lacking depth, and it needs a bite of ebony, oud, or licorice. It's not particularly strong. 6 hr wear time. However, it's safe and pleasant. It's pretty. A couple people really liked it on me and asked what I was wearing. Edit: 3 weeks later, and I need the full-size. It's a people-pleaser. There is something slightly dirty lurking underneath that keeps it interesting.

I bought this for my birthday, and life got busy with my daughter visiting so I just now opened it. I really like this one. I used to collect the Bombshell line, but stopped after a bit as they just keep cranking them out. Ironically, I was never a fan of the OG Bombshell. I've tended to like a lot of the flankers a lot more than the original. I think this one is super nice. The cherry isn't medicinal or too sweet, it's nicely balanced within the fragrance, but doesn't totally overpower or get lost. For me, I think this is in the top three in the Bombshell line up. Longevity seems decent and it hasn't good projection too. I hope they keep this in the line up, otherwise fans of this will be disappointed. I wish I'd bought the larger bottle, instead of the 1.7 oz. Also, the bottle is gorgeous with the added rhinestone bling.

my go-to going out, party girl fragrance!! its cheap, trashy, sickly sweet but without fail when i go out someone compliments how i smell. it get primarily cherry and floral notes, but i love the woody accents that round out the warming dry down. pairs beautifully with black lace, spilled vodka cranberries, and sweat from dancing. it sticks to me throughout the whole night, and i can often smell traces of it the next morning. sure, it’s pretty one-note and not revolutionary, but it’s fun, extremely feminine, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. it serves as a reminder for me to let go, stay present, and enjoy where the night takes me

it smells nice but pretty generic cherry and flowers and i only got it last year cause the bottles pretty but i smelled it again recently and it kinda just smells like a black girl i dont really like it and the style of the bottle isnt fit with my aesthetic anymore but if you wanna smell like cherry cough syrup and flower than i guess its for you

Mix Bombshell Intense and Bombshell Passion (about 75% Intense and 25% Passion) and spray Amber Romance over the whole thing and you get Bombshell Midnight.

While it smells great, the lasting power is ZILCH.

i'm really conflicted by this one. first got to smell it when the victoria's secret employee sprayed the paper with my bra size after a fitting with it lol, but i loved it! decided to buy the travel spray during the black friday sale, but the scent is much different than what i remember? it's very bright, very floral, almost too much for a nighttime scne but on the other hand sharp enough that i can't imagine wearing it during daytime either. it's a nice scent, but i just can't see which occasion it's supposed to be for. perhaps i've outgrown that type of fragrances

Meh - was hoping for a scent with more depth to it. Smells like a fruity shampoo or bodywash. I get a juicy chery scent with a hint of peony. I don't smell any woodiness at all. Smells like any other fruity fragrance mist. To add some depth and interest to it, I layered it with Clean Reserve Blonde Woods. Love the combo of the two together. For $74 CAD which includes shipping, this is a fail. The bottle and packaging are A+ though. 2.5/5.
