as someone who doesn't really mind smelling like sunscreen, yeah, it's almost like a creamy sunscreen. that being said, i think coconut coast is notably sandier than it is sunscreen-y, and a pretty realistic "sand" accord at that. the sea spray note is fittingly light, but there. i wear it atop vacation by arquiste during the summer, and believe me, it smells exactly like a warm day spent tanning at the beach. i'm so sad to have almost entirely run out of it. crossing my fingers that victorias secret brings it back this year!

I tired three "sand' body sprays over the summer and this one ranked number 2. Ellis Brooklyn Sand was number 1. Bath and Body Works Meet me in Miami was number 3. This has a warm skin feel to it which I prefer in my beachy scents. It was a little sharp the first time I wore this. But I never had that problem again, and I have used up half my bottle. I combined this with Bath and Body Works Whipped Coconut Milkshake and found that to be creamy and sweet combo. This is not ground breaking but I think it is worth picking up at a sale if you are looking for a simple summer scent that you can throw in your beach bag. 6/10

All I can smell is a terrible, cheap sunscreen - I hope one day I will smell something different because I don't want to throw it away :(
