Lavender & Vanilla Relax

i love lavender and i love vanilla. i have about 1/3 of this mist left and i wish i'd been more sparing with it seeing as it's now discontinued, alas. when you first spray this it smells purely fresh and spicy, you get no vanilla, only lavender and i agree with the prev commenter that it's a somewhat "male" lavender as it's quite sharp and cold, almost like evergreen trees or that minty feel. slowly the sharpness of the lavender gives way to a sweeter vanilla as time goes on; it starts about 5 minutes after the first spray and continues over the next hour or two. this isn't a gourmand vanilla though, and doesn't really give it much warmth, which is why it might not smell like vanilla to some. what you're left with in the end is creamy, to my nose a good blend of the lavender/vanilla, slightly warmer than the initial spray, clean, a bit powdery. unfortunately it doesn't last very long. to me this is very relaxing and i've used it before bed to put me to sleep. i used it in all seasons after i first got it and i think it becomes somewhat sweeter in hotter weather. now i'll be looking to find something similar for a spring scent...

I decided to get a new VS frag, and when I smelt this one, I decided to get it, because I liked it. It wasn't till later when I realized that the reason this seemed like a good choice was because I pretty much already have it.. by the name of Britney Spear's 'Fantasy: body mist'. I felt very relieved to see I wasn't the only one to feel the resemblance. It's very clear. I have the body mist of fantasy, not the perfume, and the fantasy body mist and this smell so alike that I sprayed them both, one on one arm and the other on the other, and it was nearly like smelling the exact same fragrance. I will admit, I think I prefer fantasy, because it's stronger, lasts longer and cheaper, but it's pretty much the exact same smell. Also, the longevity is disappointing, but I use this mist mostly before I go to sleep. If you like this, you will more than likely like fantasy too. Perhaps good to layer with!! It's a nice scent, friendly and easy to wear! I would rather recommend the fantasy body mist, though.

I bought this quite impulsively at the airport but never regretted it! I loved the scent then and now. To me, this is a simple, yet beautiful perfume, that i oftenly use. I smell the vanilla more than the lavander, and it lasts quite a lot sprayed on clothes, but not that much on bare skin (about 4-6h on skin... but on clothes even a few days if smelled closely). I would buy this as a beginner that wants to start her collection and i`d label it as "lovely sweet, suitable for cooler days". I do recommend this!

Lavender vanilla, that’s exactly what they delivered. It’s calming, comfortable, so beautiful. The lavender isn’t too sharp but you have to be a lavender lover obviously to enjoy this. The vanilla keeps it smooth, sweet, and creamy. Kind of has an underlying baby lotion/powder smell. I love using this along with the VS lotion after a shower right before bed. 🛁 🫧 🍼🪻🌙 💤

the notes of lavender & vanilla are definitely noticeable but there’s also a subtle spicy note which i guess some people don’t like but i really love it. it kinda gives the mist more depth rather than being as simple as just lavender & vanilla. if you want a simple & light lavender vanilla scent i don’t think this is the one for you but it does smell amazing imo.

Sad this is discontinued. One of the only lavender scents I like on me so far. Vanilla is barely there, but blends into the main powdery lavender scent beautifully. Smells like being fresh, clean, and starting your evening after a shower, or crisp, clean, white winter air.

It smells so good 😊!! but longevity is very weak. Sadly I don’t really get any lavender. The scent is extremely similar to the drydown of Fantasy (very vanilla, white chocolate, cupcake and orris roots). But overall it’s a very pretty and comforting scent 😃

I got my mom this one for the holidays, and she loves it. It’s safe to say I also love this one!!! This is such a nice, warm, soothing scent that you just feel relaxed by smelling.

This is absolutely stunning and exactly what I wanted Mon Guerlain to smell like. Fresh and sweet you will sleep like a baby. I need Victoria secret to make this an EDP!

this is my go-to mist for when I'm indoors, especially before bed. I wish I bought more bottles before it discontinued.

I sprayed it couple of times and took a shower but it still smells on my wrist, I will definitely buy it.

I love this one so much. Wish they had this in EDP. I will definitely have to buy another as back up.

Best scent, pure lavender, very clean, fresh, however i have to respray it in every hour.

This is one of my favourite mists that I own- carefree, calm but still with character.

When I first got this I sprayed it on a birthday card (just turned 26 years young!) and was disappointed. At first, I was like what is this baby powder/baby wipes nonsense?? Then I sprayed it on my sweater and my skin. I think she just had stage fright! This is a good sweater scent for sure. The lavender is pretty strong upon initial spray but it settles and gives way to a creamy floral vanilla with a hint of sandalwood. It's not necessarily a "warm" or "cool" scent, to me it's more in the middle. That sounds like fall or winter, but I can see why so many answered spring. But if you're like me and live somewhere with mild winters and a hotter spring season, however... I get this beachy feeling, probably thanks to the sandalwood. It smells like a walk on the beach in the winter when there's nobody there. It's cool and windy but it's perfect hoodie weather. The sky is overcast. All you hear is gulls in the distance and the gentle rumble of the surf, the waves crashing onto the shore as the wind blows a fine mist of sea spray on your skin. Overall, this is a well-rounded fragrance. I get fresh, floral, creamy, cool, warm, and beachy notes. It lasts decent on clothing but loses strength after 2-3 hours of wear. The silage starts strong but settles into a more intimate fragrance. This is a pretty average performance for VS body spray. I will say that I think it's a bit more refined than some of the others. I don't think it's being given proper credit for all the notes that make up this scent. I could see why some may be disappointed if they want a more straightforward, simple fragrance. I like her and might add her to my list of (current and ever-changing) faves. I don't smell any spice, I love spicy perfumes and have owned many - this is not that. Also, she layers beautifully. I layered it with a more classic gourmand vanilla body spray and it fems it up a bit. I think this is a great fragrance for layering. These are all just my opinions, and I have a sensitive sense of smell. I have hyperosmia and often smell things differently or more intensely than others. So please understand that this is just my experience. But I'm glad I gave it a chance despite discouraging reviews.

This was my go to body spray for 4 years, I was restocking this like a crazy person. It is such a minimalist, feminine & comforting smell. I love the combination between lavender & vanilla, it is so shooting but I am very picky with vanilla scents, this is definitely one that I adore as it is very soft and not cloying. Unfortunately it dosen't last too much on me but this could be because of my bad pH as nothing really lasts on me. As I grew up and finished highschool, I stopped purchasing this and started looking for more complex compositions and palate of scents but I always go back to this one if I want a relaxing sleepy night. I imagine waking up at a farm house, the sun is more powerfull then ever and the sky was never this blue, clean clothes beign touched by the wind on the clothesline outside, I am wearing a white dress with lavender embroidery on it, 2 knitted braids and a basket full of flowers in my hand, going deeper into the woods.

I'm on a lavender and vanilla kick now that fall is here, so I decided to grab this. "Relax" is an appropriate name for this scent. It opens with a gently aldehydic note that I find typical of VS scents, especially Bombshell. It disappears in minutes. Friendly, warm, sweet vanilla then gives my nose a gentle handshake, then wayyy off in the distance is powdery lavender giving me an air hug. It trails off to a warm, slightly woody, intimate vanilla base. It's a body spray (or "fragrance mist," as it says on the bottle), so sillage and longevity is soft and fleeting. It's not attention-grabbing or sexy. It's a friendly – and yes, relaxing – vanilla scent tempered by lavender softness. Lovely to wear around the house or spritz on your pillow or pajamas on cool or cold nights.

Not as cozy as expected from the reviews. I've been using Lush's Twilight for spraying bedsheets and I thought this may be an alternative, more lavender-ey, less tonka bean-ey than Twilight. I partly got what I wanted, indeed the lavender is more pronounced but am not getting vanilla, almost nada. Besides the lavender there is something that I probably need to warm up to, a bit piercing, sharp note, reminiscent of soaps in the olden days. I suspect it is musk, and well not the most agreeable one. I sprayed on fabric so far, will see, the tenacity on it is quite good though, quite a few hours. The odd smell may then be a fixative to make lavender stay put. Added notes: On skin this smells nice.

Definitely smells like lavender and vanilla but has a hint of something else; can't quite place what, though. Powder, maybe? This scent does not last long, even when applied after using a lotion or body oil. Lasts maybe about an hour, 2 tops, on the skin and about 2-3 hours on clothes/garments. Sillage is moderate right after the initial sprays then pretty much disappears after about 30 minutes. Really lovely scent, however. I like to use it after a shower. Wouldn't wear it out, though, since it doesn't last long. :(

Although the deodorant version leans on the soapy side, I do not sense much of the soap in the body mist. This is a very light perfume, do not get this if you are looking for a heavier/darker scent. It is very simple and straightforward with little to no other components. This would be a stereotypical "clean girl" fragrance. The powdery note is well blended and does not smell out of place.

Honestly... this is a pretty, baby-clean, shower gel type of scent. Just as the name suggests, it is quite relaxing. And nothing more. The longevity is pretty bad :( Waterlily and sea salt from this line, has amazing longevity for example. Overall I do like this scent and will continue to wear it, but I wish it had better longevity and didn't just evaporate :(

It is a very clean, fresh scent, a nice blend of lavender and vanilla, quite long lasting and strong for a body mist. To me it smells almost identical to Britney Spears fantasy except it has the lavender/vanilla mix that make it a bit more calming and appropriate to wear to go to sleep but if you don't like fantasy by britney you will not like this.

I personally get more vanilla than lavender in this but it’s well blended so it doesn’t matter too much. This is just a lovely relaxing scent that’s perfect for when you need a break from all those heavy-hitters. I wear this to bed every now and then and it’s so cozy and clean to fall asleep to.

rly nice lavender with a little bit of sweet creaminess! i rly like this before bed or stay in the house all day, but i could also see this being rly nice for the spring! a lot more lavender heavy than vanilla but layering it with sweet vanillas should even out the ratio more!

it has a very strong smell of actual wild lavender but ounce it sits you still get notes of something lighter more powdery not that muc vanilla, but still a really good compination, i think its more formal, mature or something like that still nice

Sweet and relaxing, soft vanilla & lavender. I love to spray this on my bed sheets everyday, makes my room smell like a hotel with a spa feel 🥰 Also - I don’t normally like lavender but here it’s so well blended and soft, it’s a dream come true!

I bought a bottle of this to replace my empty of my favorite but criminally short-lived and now discontinued BBW scent, Lavender. It’s not the exact same, but it brings the gentle comfort that I loved so much from the other.🩷

more lavender than vanilla, with a bit of...spice? it's got a warm and spicy touch to it. it's their "relax" scent but it's not a relaxing sort of lavender vanilla mix imo, and that's not a complaint. really addicting tbh

This reminds me of fresh, clean laundry hung out to dry in the cold winter air. I spray it on my sheets before I get into bed. I haven't worn it yet. I might just keep it to spray on my sheets before bedtime.

comparisons to Fantasy I find them rather peculiar, one could also say with very little foundational basis, unless really really enforced.

It's a straightforward and noncomplex scent. As its from Victoria's Secret, I wont hold it to the standard of a perfume with a higher pricetag. Still. When I spray this, the scent of alcohol is immediately overwhelming. It does eventually settle onto your skin, and I find that it lasts for around thirty minutes to an hour unless you press your face up against your clothing or skin. The lavender and vanilla notes blend together in a mixture of something that isn't quite lavender and isn't quite vanilla. It's a very powdery scent that I find isn't very dissimilar to a few of VS's other perfumes, such as love spell. This, in comparison, is just a weaker and less-sustainable love spell, so if you're going to spend the $ I would reach for it instead.

This is quite simple, but I doubt anyone expected anything different. It's predominantly vanilla, and it's very soft, not cakey or overly gourmond at all. The lavender is second fiddle, but it's also soft, femme, and doesn't smell like real lavender at all. There's no aromatic touches here, and it leans into cuddly territory, yet it's soapy as well. That's about it. Longevity&sillage leave something to be desired, but that's alright. I had hoped this would be a little more *present*, but it's a shy little fragrance. I think it's very, very safe for environments that frown upon heavy fragrances, and it's not heavy enough to be out of place even in hot weather, though it smells very spring-like to me.

I'm a huge vanilla scent fan but I already have a ton of classic vanilla perfumes.. so i decided to try this. The blend of vanilla and lavander has a HUGE potential but i dont feel like this perfume has made it because the spicy herbal notes are so strong they remind me of those anti congestion medications for when i have a stuffy nose lmao Definitely not relaxing & i wouldn't recommend sorry. BUT if you are looking for a soft lactonic + floral scent that actually feels calming i 100% recommend "coconut milk & rose" from their same collection. Its one of my favss

I can't detect any vanilla and don't like the opening, but overall it's a clean, powdery, soft scent. I was hoping a little more sweet scent. I think i want to use this during stretch time before bed. I preferred coconut milk & rose in this series. I think it's more like relax than this.

I get the lavender but for the most part this smells like salty play dough to me for some reason ??? I was so excited to try this in the store but I was rlly disappointed

I don’t understand why everyone describes this perfume as dainty and light. It is most definitely NOT. The lavender and vanilla are great but the spicy and herbal notes just hurt my head. There’s an underlying smell to this perfume, as if it had been placed in the seasoning cabinet of your pantry and it sucked up all the scents. I hate the spicyness of it, it hurts my nose. The first time I sprayed this on me, I was excited and happy about the main notes, but a few seconds passed and what was followed was a coughing fit. Imagine as if you had been forced to inhale pepper; that’s what I felt. If you wanted a creative way to cause a migraine, then I would recommend this. Anyway, I would not buy this perfume. 1/10 only because the lavender and vanilla smell good. Also, how are people wearing this to bed?

This made my nose sting and I regretted all my life decisions after buying this horrid scent. It keeps me up at night... to think of the poor decisions I've made. The only one saving grace is that it isn't expensive. If it was, god knows I'd not have had any sleep since.

Very smooth and calming lavender rounded with vanilla. On the sweet but calming side. It is not easy to find wearable lavender and this one is done right. I use 3-4 at the max sprays in the morning on hair and cloths (body mist) and it stays till the evening. It is noticeable cuz the colleagues entering my office comment on it. E.g. "what smells so nice?" A female colleague asked once "why does it smell like a baby in here". So I guess it is rather calming & soothing scent than sexy and exciting. I've ordered two bottles and will have them forever cuz it seems to last very long and the bottles are huge. I've never been dissapointed with VS body mists. They last longer than some edt and edp. During the winter I use Amber Romance body mist with the same effect.

I was expecting it to smell similar-ish to Goddess by Burberry but it doesn’t smell the same at all . For me it smells like if Sunscreen and febreze vanilla had a love child . I did get a few compliments wearing this scent but I wouldn’t repurchase. The longevity is very weak and it only lasts me a couple minutes . I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it as you can get longer lasting Bodysprays in this price range.

Beautiful scent. I was expecting this to be a dupe for Mon Guerlain as it has Lavender and Vanilla which are the main notes of Mon Guerlain, but this smells exactly like Versace, Crystal Noir. If Crystal Noir came in a body mist, this would be it. It's a softer and sweeter version but still powerful.

To my nose this is Lavender + Vanilla : 50/50 ratio On clothes it leans more cologny and sharp On my skin it gets baby powdery lavender Reminds me of childhood for some reason Cozy, clean, innocent, a soft warm hug Can’t comment on longevity yet

I really like this one I wish it lasted longer but ig it’s expected for a body mist. So comforting and clean. One of the only lavenders that don’t make me sneeze profusely. Pls lmk if there’s any dupes / upgrades in terms of longevity and silage

Comforting bed time scent. Slightly sweet but not overly so, and i feel something lactonic or creamy here. Nothing complex which is great for a bed time spray.

It’s a soothing blend between lavender and vanilla, making it perfect for everyday wear. However, it doesn’t last for very long and it can be pretty subtle.
