Love Star

I really didn’t care for the first Love perfume so I didn’t pay much attention to this until I went in store and smelled it. I was totally surprised at how completely different this is from the original. It’s sweet, warm, and totally free of that awful mystery note that VS seems to fall back on all too often (Bombshell has got it in spades as does the original Love). Oh and it’s surprisingly long-lasting (I get several hours out of the perfume and 4 or so out of the mist). Frankly, this is the anti-original Love scent. It is now not only my favorite VS perfume but also my every day, signature scent. To be sure, this is a sweet perfume but it’s not cloyingly so. At first glance I get strong apple and lily with just a hint of rum. After a while though it settles into a lovely white floral/lily with a just flicker of apple. Btw, I didn’t think I’d like the rum but it adds depth & warmth and just rounds off the scent perfectly. Now the rum is definitely the note I’m searching for when I repeatedly sniff my wrists. I get more compliments on this perfume than anything I’ve worn in a while and definitely more than any VS perfume I’ve owned. The sillage is pretty darn good and the longevity is downright amazing for VS. I thoroughly adore this so of course it’s a LE/one-off release that’s already been discontinued. I find this habit of releasing and d/c perfumes to be infuriating.

I love this fragrance! To me, it’s much sweeter than Love and a lot stronger and longer lasting. I was shocked at how long this lasts on me. After a 7 hour workday I can still smell it after only spraying a few times. I think this is a very unique fragrance and does not smell like other perfumes VS has come out with. I can definitely detect the rum note which I have not smelled in many other fragrances. I’d say this is a fruity floral. It might seem too strong upon first spray, but give it time to dry down a bit and for the sweetness to round it out. It’s really beautiful!

It might be the nostalgia speaking but I think about this fragrance a lot. I wore it when I fell in love with my partner 7 years ago and it still has a place in my memory. The packaging said it smelled like "clean boyfriend tee" and honestly it was exactly that with a green jolly rancher. Heavenly. I haven't smelled it in years but I guess I'm more "grown" now. I'd love to go back tho

My god I LOVE this! I bought during their winter sale. Not sure about the "rum", but it does have an awesome fruity drink smell to it. And its cozy too. I just wish I bought more bottles, because this imo is definitely a hit!

Just got this one today! First impression is this smells almost exactly like BBW Hello Beautiful with an apple top note to me. On my skin the apple top note fades after 10 minutes leaving a white flower perfumey scent. Then stays flowery..Cant smell the rum.. Smells classy and fresh but may cause scent sensitivity for some people.. I can tell if I oversprayed this I would get a headache. But also seems to lack the good longevity and throw that Bombshell has... Also kind of smells like the discontinued VS pink Wild at Heart body spray.. Update- has better longevity than I'd thought. Stayed 8 hours on me. But is still a lighter scent than some of VS perfumes

This smells like Victoria's Secret Love and Chloé Love Story had a baby and named her Star. I'm surprised they launched it in November as it's much more a spring fragrance to me; I get mostly the floral note, none of the rum. Lasts about an hour on me before it dissipates completely.

Its a pretty scent, when I got it I hated it (4 years ago) but now smelling it again I think it smells kinda nice even though I usually wouldn't pick out a scent like this. Its kinda sweet and definitely feminine. Its a little strong and does skink of alcohol when you first put it on but then it dissipates. It doesn't smell fruity to me just really perfumy if that makes sense. It smells better the longer you have on for.

Worst blind buy. Don’t be fooled they remarketed Love by adding Apple in in it. This is not unique at all. Green apple jolly rancher mixed with VS Love. . This is cheap garbage and smells like a tween scent at Justice. . Worst blind buy ever. Save your money.

Very pretty fragrance. I was surprised by the votes as more of a winter/fall fragrance. When I sprayed it, this screamed summer. I imagined being on a beach drinking a pina colada. Is it the rum I smell? Who knows. It’s sweet and long lasting! The 3.4 oz bottle was $24.99 pretty great price. Unfortunately, I didn’t purchase because before I went into the store I told myself I’m buying another bottle of Tease and that’s it, I’m out! Well I tested this perfume and immediately liked it but thought lasting power probably sucks and left. Well, six hours later I’m still smelling Love Star strongly. I might need to go back to buy a bottle!

This is a good fragrance. To me, this smells like Love without the apricot and Bombshell seduction together. It's a very soft fragrance. I kept trying to remember where I've smelled something similar to this. Couldn't remember. It's good but I didn't like it enough to purchase it. The bottle however, its beautiful. My problem with VS perfumes is that they don't last. I don't see why I would pay $55 for something I'll need to reapply constantly when for $18 or $6 in a beauty bash I could go nuts with body mists that have the same strenght and smell great.

Powdery lily with a soft backdrop of apple, faintly sweet, green and crisp. Truly magical.
