Very Sexy Scarlet

I'd drink this shit if I could it smells so good

A great contender for a daily driver. It's not unique, but it's done well. The notes blend into each other beautifully. I tested it without knowing the notes and guessed red currant and jasmine. The opening is very sweet (and I swear fruity) without being syrupy. There seems to be some vanilla in the drydown. VS rarely lists all the notes nowadays. The overall feeling of the perfume is soft and feminine. The jasmine is the slightly grape-y sweet sort. Zero indoles here. I don't find this perfume sexy or soapy. The rose is the pink sort. It's a very linear perfume. 2 sprays will keep the perfume personal, and 4 will project more. I think this smells better when worn with constraint because it can get cloying. I dislike the bottle as well. Its sporty design does not fit the concept or smell. However, it has a nice cap and glassy weight to it. I'll opt for the travel spray and lotion. edit: the lotion is strong! It lasts 8-10 hours and is more praline-heavy than floral. I highly recommend the lotion for fall/winter.

First impression: This smells extremely clean and soapy to my nose. My husband doesn’t like it. He says I smell like a very strong bar of soap. At this moment in time I feel like Rose Era by snif does a better version of a soapy rose. But I need more time with this perfume before I figure out what my final thoughts are🤔 Edit: now that I’ve had time to play with this perfume, I would say that it is a like, but not a love. If this had some sort of fruity note at the top, it would be absolutely perfect. I do not like to wear this perfume on its own, however when I pair it up with strawberry letter by phlur it smells absolutely amazing!😍 those two together smell almost identical to amazing grace intense (which I think smells like strawberry shampoo) but MUCH MUCH stronger!

Jasmine & rose scents normally smell a little boring for my taste, but this one is really great! It's not soapy or harsh like a lot of other jasmine fragrances I've tried, but also isn't forgettable and generic. It's a very deep, almost juicy (I can't explain that adjective) floral, yet not a heavy evil one. There's almost a bit of a fruity accord too, it reminds me of plum. I could see anyone wearing this, it smells sooo timeless! I love Victoria's Secret perfumes (except for Bombshell. That one's awful), definitely check this one out if you love rose and jasmine but don't want to pay a hundred dollars for a generic designer floral.

I just got this, and I like it. 3-6 hours of strong wear before a pleasing skin scent, and it seems to cling to clothes longer. It's very jasmine-forward, but the rosy softness is there. It smells VERY familiar to me - however, I can't pinpoint what exactly it smells like to me. Overall, it's nice enough if you want a dressier jasmine. This would be great at night, for dinner, or a meeting, and I think it will perform great in fall/winter, and only on not extremely hot days. I will also note that the new bottle design is very nice - looks way more high-end.

I don't usually wear scents like this, but I kinda like this one! This is literally "Sexy" scent to me. I absolutely want to wear this at night, not during the day. It's the kind of sexy feminine scent you'd imagine from a red bottle.

Funny, but I didn’t get ANY of the notes listed. I got coconut water and musk LOL. After it dried down, however, the rose did come through. It’s somewhat reminiscent of PdM Delina. This is the sexiest scent from Victoria’s Secret in a long, LONG time. I impulsively bought a bottle, and I say that as someone who a) already has a ridiculously extensive collection of perfumes and b) can never decide on *anything* on the spot. It was that good. It got me, hook line and sinker.

Nothing glamorous - agreeing with the others that it's a good soapy rose smell that doesn't smell overly artificial! Does present a mild "rubbery" note but thats fine, it really does smell like a woman that just got out of the shower with nothing else behind it, and if that's your thing then you'll like this. Kind of weak in the fact that it's so barebones but hey, sometimes that's whats needed. Tried the new bright red bottle version.

Just a little review to share that Victoria Secret VERY SEXY SCARLET reminds me a little bit of Frederic Malle PORTRAIT of a LADY. To my nose, they both share a gothic rose and patchouli type scent with a hint of clove. VERY SEXY SCARLET also reminds me of: - NIRVANA ROSE by Elizabeth and James - ROSE n ROSES by Dior - YOU’RE the ONE by Bath and Body Works

I agree with the below review that its a bit of a sweet and clean soapy rose. It’s pleasant but I guess I expected more. The bottle is very ugly. I wish they kept the original Very Sexy bottles!

Instantly reminded me of Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl. Fruity rose. Can’t speak for longevity because I sprayed it on the paper only. Very pleasant and feminine.

Sexy, feminine scent. White florals mixed with rose. Fairly fresh. Definitely not so much unisex.
