VS Him Deepwater

Another highly slept on cologne from Victoria Secret. Thankfully I saw a review on this one on Youtube and decided to blind buy after having used Very Sexy For Him II a good amount years ago. This one is straight up sexy, warm, aromatic, and fresh. A little harsh on the open, but drys down nicely. From the times I've sprayed it tends to move to more of a skin scent after an hour or so, but that seems right for the purpose of this one. If you spray more, as usual, you can get more projection and longevity out of it. I feel like I've smelled versions of this before, but it definitely is unique in it's own way. Definitely more of a date night, club night, Netflix and chill kinda scent. No one will be confused about your intentions when you wear this. Can wear it out and about, but definitely not work or the gym.

If you've smelled any VS mens scents before, this is in the same wheel house. Extremely fresh bright scent, smells clean and crisp. Is it basic? I guess, do I enjoy the scent? Yes! So much so that I got rid of the first bottle and had to go back and get it when on sale. There is no other on the list that compares to the scent except other VS Men's scents. You will smell clean and fresh like a refreshing shower scent. Shower gel scents aren't bad, they actually indicate you are clean and fresh. This is well liked by women. Staying power is good for me, maybe a little heavier on the sprays but it leaves a oil sheen from a good concentration. Sample it in stores, you may like it. Different than other fresh fragrances.

Absolutely hated it for the first five seconds after spraying it. Super synthetic and alcohol smelling. But I kept the card I sprayed it on and about twenty minutes later I smelled it again and was floored. Such a nostalgic scent, it took me way back. My very first fragrance I ever had was Hollister HCO22, it is what started my love of fragrances and smelling good. I bought this one purely for that reason. I am 29, married, and honestly don’t think I fit the intended audience for this one, but I bought it purely for the nostalgia. After it dries down it is such a great fragrance. If I were single, going to the club or beach, and I was 15-22 in age, this would be who I imagine this scent doing absolute wonders for.

Oh deepwater is awesome strong fragrance long lasting especially after letting it age a while good projection and it doesn't smell like a blue fragrance to me you can really smell the Blue Sage and Cedar it's definitely a woody manly fragrance I love it! I have every Victoria's Secret very sexy for him fragrance ever made and this is not as good as the original 2001 very sexy but it's better than the very sexy 2 and a little better than the Platinum.

This perfume is an extreme turn on for me. I love the notes especially after it sits on the skin for 5-10 minutes. An icy opening with bergamot and deep, alluring smell of cedar. It suits young men (25-35) in my opinion (although, as my spouse gets older, I might review this age interval 😁) and has a great energy. What else would a lady want in a men's perfume? 🫠 Of note, I would very much appreciate if the longevity and sillage were a bit improved.

This is a great and underrated freshie for men. Not your typical blue, citrus, aquatic scent, and yet it hits all those notes and in a unique way. What is interesting is that the ladies seem to like this more than men. I have gotten more compliments wearing this fragrance from women, than any other in my collection. And yet, somehow, you don't hear anyone mentioning this fragrance on YouTube or FragCom. An absolute hidden gem!

I did not want to like this (my wife bought this for me). Tried it out for a week, and it is solid, I would even say above average freshie. Drydown is nice and smooth, and it does not evaporate within first hour like other "blue" colognes I own.I had many people compliment and asking which cologne i wear. Pleasantly surprised by this one, probably worth a buy when on sale.

Not sure if my nose is just really different than those in the reviews below, but this is about as far from a "clean body wash" scent as it gets. To me, this is a heavy musky ocean scent, almost animalic/"dirty/sweaty", but in a really sexy way. It's definitely the most sexual musk note in my 50+ collection, by far. Kind of obsessed with it at the moment.

This is currently my go-to. It's a clean, soapy, shower-gel, aquatic, almost like shaving foam sorta fragrance. I blind-bought this, and initially I thought it was a cheap, lazy sorta smell, but boy did it grow on me. I absolutely love it, and there's something about wearing a Victoria Secret fragrance that's sexy as hell. Get this!

I randomly came across this in the store w/ my wife as I noticed they had a couple of men’s fragrances. Sprayed this on a whim not expecting too much, and I fell in love. It just plain smells great: fresh, blue, masculine, clean, and can be worn all year. Really is a hidden gem!

Clean, crisp, woody. My wife bought this for me because she loved the salty ocean vibe. I don't catch that, but I do love what I pull as a citrus woody vibe. The sage and cedar/pine is really pleasant in this one.

For starters it says EDP but in reality is borderline EDT to EDP. It has a moderate projection (like 1.5 arms of distance after 4 sprays) a longevity of 2-4 hours almost 5. But besides all of that this has one of the best Fresh/Soapy scents I've smelled in a long run, super versatile, manly and clean smell I can't get off of it. It starts with the freshness of the Ice/bergamot together with a little of the blue sage, around after the 1st hour the blue sage comes forward and the other scents take a second place and it becomes more of a soapy/clean and a bit floral scent more than only a fresh one. If you are a guy who doesn't likes to be too loud but still loves to smell fresh, clean and a tiny bit sweet. This may be a really good addition. Edit: After a month of using it I've seen it's longevity turn down a notch, so be careful where you buy it and note that it may be more of a EDT perfume performance wise.

Just got this today so can't pass full judgment but immediately pick up on the crossovers with Michael Malul Ocean Noir. I sample ON, the scent was beautiful but very faint and didn't last long either. I'd say Deepwater is very close to the scent. The sweetness is almost identical, just missing that light coconut nuance. I think this would be great for casual wear as it's calming and easy going, and also as a post-shower scent for a relaxed evening or shortly before sleep. The pleasantness of it would also make for a good office scent. Can see this working nicely in moderate heat, and would be great for a summer evening as things start to cool down a little and the air becomes clear.

This is a clean and sweet scent. I get a bit of a minty vibe off of it, and a very synthetic sweetness. I like it, especially if you can get it for around $40. I like this more than Platinum for the VS for Him line. I also own a lot of designer fragrances and can’t really find a great comparison for this one. It is a bit weak, but with the synthetic sweetness, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It could get cloying if it was more powerful. Great casual, fun fragrance for high heat.

Stopped by the "mens" section in VS while I waited for the wife; and while typically I kinda just laugh at mall store fragrances this right here made me go HOLD UP. This was actually really good. I sprayed it on my hand and it lasted for hours after. Projected nicely. Clean scent, nice daily wear. If I didn't have so much already I would have picked up a bottle. Good job VS, try making more masculine stuff!

This one is very pleasant. I don’t pick up on any “ice” note because that doesn’t have a smell, nor do I get an icy vibe like I do from Bvlgari Glacial Essence but the other three listed notes are the spot on. Bergamot opening with a woody sage drydown. Not worth full retail but maybe on a semi-annual sale.

A little synthetic, but a decent fresh scent. There's much better freshies in a similar price range though, such as Versace Pour Homme and Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT.

This is actually quite nice. Super super pleasant in the air. Also, this easily lasted 6-8 hours on me. No idea why people say this performs bad.

Great light fresh and clean gel scent that gets a little bit woody after some time. Doesn't stand out much, and maybe that's the beauty of it.

Its actually not bad at all. A clean masculine scent. Perfect for the gym and office. Overall 7.5/10
