I am retired and had worn this as part of my office frag rotation along with CH 212 men, Dior Sauvage edt and BDC edt, back in the day. When I first tested it at Macy’s, I really liked it most especially when it pulled me some compliments at work. Once, a female coworker asked what I was wearing and wrote it down. It’s easy to say that this is generic but somehow, I thought it has its own personality and it will grow on you just give it some time. Like some frags, it picks the right skin chemistry to reveal its true beauty. However, competition is aggressive and if VC can’t come up with something unique or groundbreaking, this kind of scent will be heading to oblivion. But with that price point, this can be a dumb reach fragrance that you can stow in your glove compartment for warmer weather or just running errands. “Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. I bought this 2 weeks ago from Macy's, this fragrance is light, yet masculine, very pleasing, something that a young, clean cut guy would wear with casual clothing. It's very modern, and women like the smell, this is perfect for summer. So, here's a heads up, ignore the older, out of date, fragrance snobs that will comment soon, complaining about how generic it smells, they've said that about some of the best smelling fragrances around. I'm 22 and know what the young women like, try this panty dropper. You'll get the compliments from the young ladies, and even more. lol

If you like those light freshies like Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger or maybe even Acqua Di Gio that seduce your nose and just smell nice and slightly sweet then this is a good one for you. It's light, fresh, slightly boozy and sweet. This is right up my lane and I really like this. For better performance just spray a few more sprays and you will be set! I give this a 9.1/10

Such a beautiful scent!! I love this fragrance, it smells much more expensive then what it is. I get below average performance....3-5 hours with maybe 1 hour of projection before it sits close to the skin. I use this before bed or to work.

"Wow" was literally my reaction the first time I sprayed this.

Personal: 6.5/10 – This is pleasant and easy, but it doesn’t do much to hold my attention. Clean citrus and light woods inoffensive to a fault. Mass appeal: 8.5/10 – Very approachable. Fresh, blue, and easy to like with almost no risk. Performance: 6/10 – Average at best. It smells good while it’s there, but fades fairly quickly. Value: 8/10 – Strong value at discounter pricing. You get a competent, wearable fresh scent for cheap. Uniqueness: 5.5/10 – This sits squarely in familiar blue-fresh territory with nothing particularly new. SCORE: 69/100 Full bottle buy? NO, easy to wear but not something I’d ever crave. Blind buy? YES, very safe if you like clean, blue, citrusy fragrances. Recommend? YES, especially as an inexpensive daily or starter fragrance. Date night? YES, casual and clean, though not memorable. Office safe? YES, extremely safe and unobtrusive. I actually like this one. The opening is very beautiful with a delicious juniper berry note, it is much more fruity and sweeter than I would have imagined. The gin is quite nice in the opening but burns off sort of quick, I really wished that stayed around a bit more. The citrus is quite nice (but not different from most) but it is the juniper berry in the opening that really gives this a unique aroma and seperates it from others in department stores. Now even more interesting is the drydown, though it is quite light by this time it is still presence but the juniper is accompanied by a nice birch note that gives it a leathery feel with a slight nice musk to add to the base. It is like a soft fresh/musky leather with juniper berry and where I believe that many youngsters may avoid it but not necessarily. It has a light mature vibe something I think Creed could conjure up. Well I think this is a nice one. I almost considered buying it. This is a deeper more sweet and fruity Chopard Cedar feel. Again the first hour or so is terrific and quite unique to me, the next 3 are solid and the last 2-3 it is close to the skin but mature and classic. Overall this is nice at retail, though I wish it projected a bit more. I still give this one a 3.5 out of 4 maybe even a 3.75. My designer mark is always somewhere around Bleu De or Allure Sport or L'Homme and I think this could compete with any of those.

Vince Cammuto's "Homme" to me is both a disappointment and a surprise. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: when you smell fragrances in the store, you are being hit with their "best foot forward" and may not reflect the actual power or scent on your skin. That was my case yesterday and I should know better. Okay, so I have been searching for sonething that scratched that itch left by the Ex Nilho 352 that I fell in love with but had terrible performance for its price. Juniper and citrus and clean. The moment I smelled this in store it hit me like a ton of bricks: this may be a clone of EN352 and I bought it on the spot...at full retail -.- On skin it has virtually no projection or sillage (just like the EN352) BUT it does stay fairly linear on the skin and lasted 16 hours on my scent-eating skin! If it projected more it might be in my top five automatically. If you love Ex Nilho 352 but dont want to drop that kind of cash, then this VC Homme is actually a perfectly workable substitute! Scent: 7/10 it is a bit synthetic and could come off generic but it is clean and fresh. Projection: 3/10 sad panda. Sillage: 2/10 sadder panda. Longevity: 10/10 it lasts fotever as a skin scent!

Not bad. This smells better coming off you from a few feet away or in passing than it does when you stick your nose up close to it. It's a fresh, kind of cold, citrus-juniper scent that's on the synthetic side (a little scratchy and abrasive on the nose, and at times it has that calone-like, chemical smell to it). There's a generic "freshness" to it as well, but I'd say the juniper note is well done enough to put this just on the better side of average. This is a casual, warm weather fragrance. I notice a lot of people are picking up on gin in this, but I didn't get much of that--maybe an attempt at gin, but nothing like the real thing. If you really want a good, summer gin fragrance that also uses citrus notes, L'Humaniste is the place to look. These don't smell alike except for maybe a very vague generality. Projection is good, longevity about average. Fragrantica currently scores this a 3.18 out of 5 and I'd say that's about the perfect rating for Vince Camuto Pour Homme. I'm more or less neutral on it, leaning toward a slight thumbs up.

A pleasing enough fragrance but also the embodiment of generic. It smells like they just sort of threw a bunch of overdone notes at a wall and came up with this, which probably sounds worse than I mean it to, but it's one of the things that came to mind when writing this. I would say that it's a perfectly likeable scent and if you want something that makes you smell good, without anything to really make you stick out, this is your scent. I probably sound like I hate it, but I really don't. It's nice. But that's about it. UPDATE: Since I originally wrote this review, this scent has actually become a bit of a go-to for me. I don’t take back anything I said before, though. It’s quite generic but it’s also still quite pleasing for me and for people that smell it on me. Buy it with the expectation that it’s probably not going to blow you away but that it’s gonna make you feel nice and may get you a compliment or two along the way.

I got this scent like 3 weeks ago, surprised it's just now being released on the site. Anyways, at first spray my girl fell in LOVE. She basically made me buy it right then and there. It's very fresh (like most other "fresh" scents). I do, however like this very much as well. I get a strong 'green grapefruit' vibe with leather backing it up - a very fresh leather. Anyways, this will be one of my main summer scents this year The longevity is good but it seems to be one of those ones you can't smell on yourself but others can smell it on you. Three times so far I have worn this and several (6-8) hours later (even overnight once) my girlfriend said I smelt amazing - unfortunately I had no idea it was still around. Overall: 7.5/10

I got this as part of the 4 piece Vincent Camuto travel set. It's not my favorite on me but definitely my favorite on another man. It's bright and fun yet grounded. It smells fresh and clean. To me it gives off "older man reaching his silver fox years with grace and dignity" vibes. The sweet bubbly chatty guy who will watch your drink for you and ask you to text him when you get home safe. The smell of the sweethearts. I personally wear it if I'm going pool side, to the beach, or a walk in the park on a warm but breezy day but that's about it. Like I said, great smell, just doesn't fit my young introverted self in many scenarios

Picked this up for $19.99 at the local rack store this week. Wearing today for the first time, the opening is bright citrus with a bit of juniper, with a little bit of ozone. I am not getting any of the fennel - at least not fennel seeds. I'd say this is a relatively "light" scent. 30 minutes in it's fading pretty fast and I am beginning to pick up some light woods and musk. Nice buy at $19.99 but I wouldn't pay full retail for this one. This will definitely make it into my warmer weather rotation, but it's much too light and airy for fall/winter.

Normally i di t line "blue" scents but this one hits. It kind of feels like a cheaper Missoni Wave in that it has juniper, lemin, and other qualities. Wave is much richer and a little darker, for lack of a better term, in my opinion. One thing i like about this is the lemon in the midtones. I have the EDT so it doesnt stay too long but the citrus stays longer than expected. I initially got thisnis a set years ago but it makes a great cheap go-to. The bottle is also beautiful and stands out in my shelf.

This was my fragrance companion during a few days off. I had the 15ml bottle from the coffret set. There's nothing to make this really stand out from the crowd - and that's just fine. It gives you that "vacation fresh" vibe in a nondescript way for not a lot of money. It does smell artificial from time to time, yet avoids feeling cheap. Recommended as one of those scents that you just kinda throw on without a lot of thought ... and are reminded again that it's a fine mainstream effort.

Surprised no one has noted this, it’s a dupe of light blue pour homme, (with a shower gel vibe added) and a pretty good one at that. Very inexpesive, performs well, smells cheaper up close but in the air it’s very pleasant. Musky oakmoss with juniper and anise. Super fresh. The late drydown is very aquatic Edit: does not smell close to Givenchy blue label. I blind bought that one thinking it was similar and it is not. Blue label is a straight up aquatic.

A piney, musky gin & lemon. Simple as. Nothing amazing, but for ~$25 for 3.4ozs, it’s a solid purchase. My one gripe is that it’s not a super versatile scent. IMO, it could be a little too musky for the beach, gym, or office (depending on your job). Generally more of a “going out” fragrance (not to be mistaken with a date night fragrance) that adds a solid mix of cleanliness and intrigue, at least more than just wearing deodorant can do.

Received as an early Christmas gift from a great friend and fellow scent aficionado...I'm not disappointed in the least! Smells wonderful, sharp and fresh. I have yet to test its longevity, and will do so in both colder and warmer weather. Although the scent is more of a warm weather fragrance, I do not necessarily subscribe to "scent etiquette," but for a few of my collection; this will not be an exception to the rule.

I remember buying a set of this not long after it first hit the shelves. I was sampling colognes in a Dillards and came across this one and was immediately drawn to its unique sweet, clean fresh smell. It is silky smooth and very mass appealing clean and fresh with a bit of sweetness. It’s smells slightly like if YSL Y EDP had sex with Versace Eau Fraiche in a weird way.

So I was thinking this smells like something I have owned and was running through Creed and Bond. Then it hit me. This and L'humaniste by Frapin are quite close. This is a bit thicker for some reason, maybe the cedar or birch the same way Guelain Homme is, but they are quite similar and I give this the edge due to performance!

Nice clean office scent! This remind me of Givenchy pour Homme Blue label but more playful, without the spicyness but adding an alcohol-vibe (gin and juniper notes) to the scent. Very versatile and good longevity. Try it:) 8.5/10

The amount of upvotes for Givenchy Blue Label is very surprising, as this is definitely not on the same level. Blue Label has more personality than VC Homme could ever wish for thanks to the Pepper, Cardamom, and Bergamot. I can't imagine anyone would be offended by this scent, but I don't understand anyone giving it any high praise either. To me, this strongly mimics Clinique's Chemistry or Original Penguin's Original Blend. The Gin and Lemon are present, but the seemingly quick dry down into cedar gives it this somewhat funky pencil-shaving smell I got with OPOB. If you can find this for around the same price as OPOB (~$20), I'd take this over that, but any bigger price difference than that, I'd avoid it. *Edit* The gift set I got this with came with a travel decant that I used the other day. The dry down of the decant was weirdly much different than the standard 100mL bottle I have. I definitely saw more of a resemblance to Versace Man Eau Fraiche with the decant vs. the full bottle. It's odd though that there would be such a variation between the two... 5/10

On first impression, it's a strong opening whiff of fresh, blue notes. As with all basic blue scents, it's a strong mix of bright citrus, fresh aromatics, and a sweet, light woody base note. This is like a more refined version of Nautica Voyage, but toned down a bit so it doesn't give me a headache after more than 1 spray. Obviously there's some similarity between this a BdC, although the Chanel is balanced out by the musk and resinous woody notes. This is definitely a great choice for someone younger, or just someone who wants to smell fresh and doesn't want to spray anything too complicated. I'd say this is a pretty safe blind buy in that it's cheap and smells nice. It's definitely too sweet for my tastes though. I'll try to be fair since at this price point we're just looking for something pleasant and that you can spray a few times without getting a headache, so I'll give it a 7/10.

Scent Family: Aquatic Top Notes: Pressed Citron, Crisp Ozone, Iced Gin & Tonic Middle Notes: Italian Fennel, Blue Cypress, Juniper Berry, French Lavender Base Notes: Cool Spruce, Atlas Cedar, Armoise, Warm Musk, White Birch Citron, fennel, spruce, cypress, a smidgen of birch, armoise. Basically, citron and all base notes with some fennel. A little herbal and sharp with a hint of dryness pencil shaving from the cedar. Its ok. Could be used in warmer climates or seasons. Think light blue and man eau fraiche combined. The ozonic qualities make this aquatic but its leans more citrus aromatic than aquatic I would say. Good buy if you buy it at discounters. If not, its a rip off

Very basic aromatic blue fragrance. The opening you definitely get all the top notes but the gin is prominent. After like 5 minutes this is just a bunch of gin ,juniper and fennel wrapped in that blue fragrance dna. Base notes I only got the cedar and a little musk. This does not smell bad if that's your cup of tea. But it's very basic . Unless you are a big fan of this house I see this as a fragrance for the person that only has like 2 or 3 fragrances . Performance is below average . It was a very close skin scent after about 45 minutes. Thats 2 neck sprays and 2 on each forearm. So its really nothing special but it's mass appealing . While not the same it kind of reminds me of Montblanc individuel . If individuel were made in a "blue" style and more mellow.

My step dad got this in a blind box, and he is Halston since day 1. So he gave it to me. Within 5 minutes it is a skin scent on me. I actually like that in an inexpensive cologne. You can spray 5+ sprays and know it will be there for 2-3 hrs, yet not overpower anyone. It definitely leans blue, but the greens and cypress definitely could be a winter day smell. Fairly universally but I doubt it will impress a date. To me it’s a comfortable clean shower gel vibe, that lasts a few hours. Definitely a buy at a clearance store. Not worth buying if you already have a mid tier green/beach scent like Ralph’s Club or Guilty Black. I like to wear this during the day for a low key vibe, then step up to Ralph’s or Irish Tweed for the early evening.

On a quest for my new spring scent. This was ok. I am searching some something with good fennel notes and other spring herbs. This did not deliver on that for my skin chemistry but that isn't to say it's bad. Strong ozone notes and the cedar/birch really comes through as the scent matures on the skin. I did not get gin as a big top note but it might have been a supporting cast.

Clean, a little aquatic, a little musky, I don't really know what else there is tbh. This is soapy and clean and inoffensive, but completely unmemorable. Spring/Summer/Office. You can do better, but you can do worse.

Another great release by the house of Vince Camuto. Very "cologney", but done in an excellent way. I have three by VC and this is the least daring. In its defense it's probably the safest most crowd pleasing scent I've come across in a while. Definitely would be “generic” to mature noses. Very fresh and great smelling juice. It's not a "niche" fragrance meaning it's nothing we haven't smelled before. It just smells good. Very well blended and soft but masculine clean fresh citrus floral fragrance. Could pass as a classier sport fragrance, but in the best way possible. Summer time and spring time dumb reach, club or nice dinner. Casual or office. Nothin this lil guy can't do imo. Nothing to have the mature noses saying wow, but I doubt a lady would say anything but good things about it. No real age group, with that being said it's got a quality over the run of the mill bargain juices. Overall.. great juice.

It's like a less interesting Gucci Made to Measure (and I bet many thought that wasn't even possible!) It's basically just the rubbery juniper accord of Made to Measure from top to bottom. Along with the juniper overdose there is a hint of fennel, along with some dry papery woods, but... that's about it. It's actually pleasant if you're looking for a dry, and yet "white" smelling clean scent for men that thankfully isn't sweet but is instead rather bracing, almost astringent. That being said, I think there are more interesting fragrances that are similar, such as Micallef's Le Professionel and Royal Vintage, Bond's Scent of Peace for Him. Even Trump's Success is similar (thanks to the prominent juniper) but has a fair bit more going on.

An overzealous sales associate sprayed me with this nightmare while shopping over the weekend. I had to wash my arm about four times to rid myself of this screamingly loud aroma-chemical bomb. Imagine the smell of one of those Axe bodysprays, multiplied by ten. The only comparison I can make is that this could be a much more vulgar version of Bond's new Scent of Peace for Him. I'm not a fan of that (also loud) fragrance, but the Bond comes across as subtle and civilized when compared to this mess. I get that everyone has different tastes, but disliking VC Homme is not a matter of elitism. VC Homme is just screechy and loud - the fragrance equivalent of a police siren.

I may have bought an old/bad batch, but this has to be one of my worst purchases ever. So bad I actually threw it away. Opened okay, but dried to a synthetic wreck. Definitely not for me and for sure not recommended as a blind buy.

This literally smells like fog machine liquid.

A lemon bomb on the opening! It just launches itself into the air with plenty of alcohol heat. Once it calms down, which happens very quickly (within minutes), the juniper, and green lavender and fennel make their appearance on a bed of clean, soapy, white musks. Unpleasant, coarse, derivative, cheap and therefore cheaply made, just ticking-off a box on the company's marketing to-do list. Your life is for the better if you haven't smelled it. Blech.

this is the worst fragrance I've ever smelled I got it off scent bird to try it out before I buy it I just wanna say thank god I did not blind buy this one it lasts about 5 mins on my skin and the 5 mins is trash I wish it didn't last more than a min on me so I didn't have to suffer those 4 extra mins.

This is actually a VC fragrance that I enjoy... (Eterno isn't bad either). It was a little bit of a grower though, I think the first day I smelled it, I had some olfactory fatigue going and it just wasn't coming across as very appealing or anything worth a second testing. Thought it may end up being a car / room air freshener (which I wasn't too upset about as I grabbed it during a rack store visit for a yellow tag price of $10)... However, I did think it was kind of strange based on the note breakdown, it appeared as though it would be a solid freshie... But after some additional wearing's it really did come alive on my skin. It is a very solid Spring/Summer wear, casual, errands, office, etc. I also like how it doesn't come off as super citrus heavy or overly youthful. The Lemon up top is actually juicy, not tart or cleaner smelling... The additional notes of Juniper Berry, Lavender, Cypress, Fennel, Birch, Artemisia all lend to a slightly more... Mature smelling freshie. Not that this is a mature smelling fragrance, it just doesn't come off as an overly sweet/citrusy fresh fragrance for the younger guy... As far as cheap fresh fragrances go - This is a good one and with the number of fragrances I have, I do enjoy wearing this. If you see this VC for the right price, grab it...

Man, this one’s clean. Like, fresh shower, nice shirt, good mood clean. You get that gin and lemon right away, bright, crisp, and kind of classy without smelling like you tried too hard. Then it smooths out with a little lavender and juniper, so it’s got that lightly soapy vibe going on, but not in a boring “laundry detergent” way. Once it settles, the woods and musk come in, cedar and birch mainly, and it just smells put together. Not loud, not trying to impress anyone, just quietly confident. It’s the kind of thing you could wear to work, out for drinks, or even just running errands if you want to smell like you’ve got your life together. Definitely more of a spring and summer kind of scent, but honestly, you could wear it year round if you wanted.

There's not really a whole lot to talk about here. I got a sample of this from Scentbird because I was intrigued by the gin note. Upon smelling this it is way more aquatic smelling than I expected even though it's not an aquatic fragrance per se. That's not a bad thing but this fragrance is dominated by the lemon and lavender notes in my opinion. It smells good but I felt that the gin, juniper, and the rest of the green notes kind of get drowned out in the background and I would have liked them to be more prominent. It's a very fresh, safe scent. It's very generic and there's really not anything that stands out about it. The performance is below average as well. Overall I like this fragrance but it doesn't blow me away.

I just sampled this on paper today from Macy's. It smells nice but I am getting very strong resemblance to Nautica Voyage. I sprayed some of my NV on a paper strip and put them side by side and to me they smell identical. Anybody else getting that? If that's the case I will just stick with my NV for half the price. EDIT: I'm smelling the paper strip a couple of days later and it still smells nice. It is actually brighter than NV and I am really liking it. I am putting this down for some more testing and possible consideration. Hopefully some of you can share about the projection and longevity on the skin.

Juniper and Aldehyde, Lavender and Cypress. As other commenters have pointed out, it is synthetic. Especially, the lavender and "green" notes - likely "cypress" are very synthetic. However, aldehyde is used here to give it a clean, effervescence which sets apart from other colognes of the decade gone by. I personally do not find similarities to Givenchy Blue Label, or Profondo. I do however see resemblance to Kenneth Cole reaction, which likely suggests this formula is made with a lot of the Hedione and Galaxolide. I like it.

Love this fragrance. wow. I just picked it up yesterday and only spritzed my arms but I could not stop smelling myself. It's a light but intoxicating scent. It has a "zing" to it, the similar zing that Acqua di Gio has. It has a perfect balance between freshness and woodiness. There's a touch of sweetness which works very well imo. It's clean, slightly sweet, and sensual. Longevity and projection aren't great but I don't mind because I have allergies/asthma so I can't handle super strong fragrances.

Homme is the most impressive Vince Camuto men's fragrance, from the several that I sampled. A very fresh and lively woody-aromatic cologne style scent, most invigorating and brisk. Lavender ...& lemon, ...juniper ...& gin, ...cypress ...& cedar. All together, it makes for a most fitting chorus to herald a morning's awakening. This being a scent especially well-suited to start any fast-paced day of action.

The original Vine Camuto was had a gorgeous classic looking bottle, with the black leather.. This one however just ruined the entire look! They took the same classy bottle and turned it blue! Now it looks extremely cheap to me.. Not to mention the fragrance inside.. The original was nothing special but it was a very light pleasant fragrance.. This one I am not a fan of..

I bought this for my husband... (I love Vince Camuto, VC Amore and VC Bella for women) My husband is sensitive to smells and some causes his sinuses or asthma to exhacerbate, but not this one. We love it!! It smell us as a masculine version of Vince Camuto for women... We were in a party and when we returned he still was smelling amazing!! Just love it!!!

Aromatic starts out the gate with freshness,but 20 minutes later,it fades out quite a bit, Camuto black is much better scent in terms of longevity and sillage, this ends smelling like alot of the newer generic aromatic, fresh, a little spicy kinda vibe,very shower gel like scent,which a lot of fragrances are doing these days.
