Main Character

I’m really enjoying Main Character. At first spritz, I assumed it was just another overhyped fragrance, but as it dried down, it revealed itself to be genuinely sweet and beautiful. This fragrance is a lush, sweet floral gourmand, with notes that are remarkably well-blended. What I love is that you can discern all the individual notes throughout the wear, yet they never feel disjointed. The cotton candy accord wraps around the florals and other gourmand elements, creating a deliciously candied bouquet that’s playful yet sophisticated. On top of its delectable scent, Main Character boasts impressive longevity. I consistently get 5–6 hours of wear, which is perfect for a scent this indulgent. Overall, it’s a charming, sweet, and expertly crafted fragrance that deserves the attention it’s getting. If you enjoy gourmand florals with a candy-coated twist, this one is a must-try.

This fragrance may be a let down to some, but to me- it was what I expected and more. I was expecting something feminine, sweet, and delicate. What I wasn’t expecting was nostalgia. I sprayed this and tears formed in my eyes. For the first time I’ve found a fragrance that smells like my Mom. I lost her Dec of 13. She wasn’t a heavy perfume wearer, and she always wore tons of baby powder which lingered under whatever sweet light perfume she had. And to me this is that. If you can appreciate nostalgia in a bottle, and smelling feminine and sweet I think this does that better than any perfume I’ve ever smelled. Groundbreaking? Depends on your expectations. Some of us love fragrance because of our constant look for dopamine. And for me - being able to smell something that conjures happier times is certainly groundbreaking.

Love at first spray and a succesful blindbuy!! <3 Sparkly, fruity and so sweet in a non-sickly way at first. And shortly after that, I get the cotton candy wrapped jasmine with a hint of iris on my skin. Loudly floral but in a way I love. The dry-down is heavenly, sweet and airy and not a thick caramel vanilla with musk in the background. I am in love! Wish I had bought two for the great price of 75 dollars! I don't get any pink sugar clone on my skin either ( I used to own it for a short while), thank god, since I cannot stand the ofensive sharpness and loudness of the liqorice in that one. This was a non-brainer for me even though I don't recommend blind buing since few things are safe blindbuys when every frag depends on skin, chemisty, weather and so much more.

Just received it in the mail today. Looking at the notes I knew that I was going to enjoy it and I'm so glad that I ordered it as soon as it launched. Lol Main Character is a very pretty, feminine fragrance. To my nose, it's fruity, floral with a touch of gourmand in the dry-down. It doesn't remind me of anything in my collection at the moment, and definitely doesn't smell anything like Pink Sugar. Very happy with the purchase. Also, the bottle is beautiful! It came with a 2 ml sample of the same fragrance, which I really appreciate.

I truly don’t get the comparisons to Pink Sugar-which further shows how subjective fragrance is to each individual person. I also don’t get the complaints about the lack of complexity. Nothing in the note structure suggests that this would be an over the top ground breaking fragrance. What it is, is a very pretty, feminine, mass appealing fragrance. This could easily be a signature scent. She’s definitely a compliment getter! I really enjoy her and the performance is pretty good out the gate too😌!!

This is a floral musk forward cotton candy fragrance. This is a mature, happy pretty scent. I purchased on day one. When I saw CP teaming up with Stephen...I knew this was going to be a masterpiece. The bottle is very pretty to go along with the fragrance. The price point was simple amazing...very affordable. I believe this more wearable in the spring and summer but I’m looking forward to wearing this scent in the fall! Well done! I look forward to more bangers from Stephen!!

It's a very beautiful and feminine fragrance. It's a blend of sweetness and freshness at the same time. At first, I thought of Pink Sugar, but less overpowering. I was a little disappointed, so I put it away for a few weeks, and now I'm fascinated. It transforms; it's a delicious scent. I can't quite identify the notes; it's very well blended! I think it's a good blind buy if you like sweet, slightly powdery, and feminine fragrances.

Exceeded my expectations. I get the Chance Eau Tendre comparison, but the Chanel does not lean gourmand at all, and Main Character really does. It's a bit like like a hybrid of Eau Tendre and something like Egyptian Sugar Soiree. It transcends age, season, etc. It feels classic yet modern--Elegant yet fun, I will be reaching for it when I want a mood lift!

It gives happy feeling like Pink sugar, but the quality and longevity is incomparable. Main character is much more complex, better quality, no burned sugar accord. The raspberry, peach, cotton candy, vanilla are main players. I sprayed around 7 pm and woke up in morning still feeling it of my skin. It is amazing!

This is a mature sophicated beautiful floral that surrounds the wearer in a cloud of fluffiness. Perfect for any occasion. This was my scent of the day and I have enjoyed refreshing it throughout the day. I sprayed it on the collar of my robe so I can keep the frangremce cloud close to my nose.

Spring/ summer compliment magnet... "pretty." This smells like the color pink... like a girl's girl, but not juvenile. It smells like Barbie and Elle Woods' signature scent they wore to the picnic with Mary and her little lamb (that last part is courtesy of my niece I call, my "little lamb.")

I recently purchased this and have really enjoyed it so far. It opens up sweet and fruity and dries down to a comforting gourmand scent that is not heavy or cloying. For me, it’s a feel good scent that will be in regular rotation.

I’m waiting for my bottle for review of the fragrance. The price point is very alluring with the beautiful pink bottle with bow. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye 💓

Very shampoo forward if anything else. Cotton candy shampoo. The more I smell it the more I love it!

I am really DONE with expensive "niche" fragrances that perform poorly and smell like $10 body mists from Walgreens. I'm liking Vivamor "Main Character" a bit more after it's been in brief time-out. I hope Main Character will be an elevated version of Lattafa "Petra Viola." I recently blind-bought Petra Viola. And for me, Petra Viola is beyond LACKLUSTER in performance and design. But right now, Main Character feels even worse than Viola. Given its listed notes, I anticipated Main Character as a sweet, creamy, dense, feminine, heady fragrance. On initial application, I over-sprayed Main Character and barely detected any discernible fragrance. Main Character gives a bit of creamy peach, dry orris, some florals, lots of musk. That's it. For me, Main Character is a barely there, uninspiring, vaporous, skin scent. And I must have sprayed Main Character about 40 times on skin & clothing. I am disappointed and frustrated. Perhaps a verrrrrrrry lengthy time out will help.

This is a beautiful, flormand fragrance which I’ve been getting into lately. Yet I find that I don’t reach for it much. While I love the initial bursts, the caramel note in the base gives a burnt sugar vibe and turns funky on my skin. I love supporting Steven however; he’s one of the 2 people that got me into appreciating fragrance— Olivia Olfactory being the counterpart. Won’t repurchase this one but happy to use it up, especially in the spring and early summer months.

Very pretty, very feminine. Definitely a crowd-pleasing fragrance, it never ceases to get me compliments. Kind of reminds me of DefineMe's Barbie. It's a scent that's perfect for every day, any season. Performs and projects better than you think when wearing it. I think it's an easy one to go nose-blind to, but it definitely leaves a nice scent bubble. That said, I don't think it's anything groundbreaking.

Bright, sweet fruit at the immediate opening, with a mellowed-out sandalwood and musk base. I liked this, and I am NOT a fruity floral fan at all. This is very well-balanced and blended- not a screech in sight (or sniff). I recieved this as a bonus sample in a Centered Scents decant order, and I was pleasantly surprised. You could safely give this as a gift to someone in your life who enjoys girly florals.

Ok so. It’s literally Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, with an added raspberry mixed in the dry down. I was beyond excited to get this perfume. And I was a little disappointed. Not that I don’t like it, because I really do. But it’s just not unique to my collection because I have Chance Eau Tendre, and lots of raspberry fragrances I could layer with if I wanted. It’s beautiful! Just not unique in any way.

At first I thought oh no, cheap, generic fragrance then a few days later, it got better. Now, it’s a musky, caramelly cotton candy with a hint of the peony & jasmine. That raspberry really shines after 10-15min and I’m enjoying it. It’s a simple, sweet & feminine fragrance. Very easy on the nose, nothing groundbreaking.

Beautiful feminine and floral scent. Not anything super unique but it's still great as a blind buy. It's flower-y without being sweet on my skin, which I really prefer. Bought this for a friend that I think would really love it.

This smells candy sweet and floral and clean linen like. pleasant smell but it smells like how much it is priced at. I can see some fragrances at rack store smelling similar level quality to this. again, it smells nice though

This is fine. It's nice. Is it mind-blowing? No. Is it original? No. Is it pretty? Yes. I'll wear it, but am not super excited about it. Longevity is okay. I got 6-8 hours. It DOES NOT smell like Pink Sugar.

She’s a cute fruity floral with a slight musk in the dry down. Very mass appealing but nothing to write home about.

I have thoughts. I ordered a travel size sample from Scent Split for about $20. In general this is a pretty and delicate sweet, slightly floral scent with a gentle sandalwood that creates a really soft powdery bubble which I appreciate. It is hard to find a feminine perfume that is airy yet present. I have to spray this one on clothing only. My skin chemistry just boosts the pear blossom and jasmine (not their fault.) There are alot of perfumes I cannot wear on my skin. I definitely experienced a scent journey. Alot of the sweetness was lost for me in the drydown. Where would I wear this? If someone asked me to attend a religious event with them. If I experienced this on someone else I would think ... lovely and respectable. Edit: I can understand why people are saying they have smelled something similar before. However the more time I spend with it I realize the blend is definitely beautiful in that it is smoothe. At least to me, you can tell it is niche/luxury and not department store/designer.

This is a pretty fruty floral fragrance, but unfortunately it is not giving my nose main character, supporting actress at best. It is not a bad scent, but it is nothing ground-breaking. I live where the seasons are felt, so kept it to try it once more during the spring and summer to see how it performs, but as of now, it is not a fragrance that delivers what I expected for a nose like Steven's... perhaps that is the problem, the expectation. Objectively, it is a nice fragrance, just not my main character type of fragrance.

First of all, love Stephen. That said I will have to sadly agree that there is nothing too groundbreaking here. It is a very pretty scent, just not in an unexpected way, certainly not in a $75 way. I think I would buy another one of Stephen's perfumes. I just won't be a dummy again and get in on the first batch. I'll wait for the comments here.

Disappointed honestly. I was expecting so much more from this fregrance. Very subtle fregrance. Sweet and floral but honestly nothing overly special about it. I wouldn't find myself reaching for this over something else in my collection

Lovely and feminine fragrance but too sweet for me. The cotton candy note was making me nauseous. If it was replaced with a floral note then it would have been a home run for me. Thankfully it came with a sample and it was returned.

Pretty fragrance, opens very sweet and gets smoother in the dry down, but nothing special. 7/10✨

If this is what a main character is supposed to smell like I'd rather be a supporting actor thanks. There is a weird funkiness to this fragrance, somewhat reminiscent of the funk I get from Wowie, that is almost tropically synthetic smelling. With the peach, raspberry, cotton candy, vanilla, and caramel notes I thought it'd be much sweeter and smoother. Glad they sent a sample to try before I opened the box so now I can return it.

If there is any fragrance that proves the vast majority of frag tiktok and yt don't know wtf they're on about it's this. "OMG This is so unique!" "10/10" etc etc. Guys... this is basically a cookie cutter sweet floral musk. Literally nothing unique about it in both execution and notes. The definition of boring when it comes to feminine perfumes. If this were a main character it would be Jane Smith

I bought this because I’ve always liked Steven and wanted to support his first fragrance — but honestly, I’m really disappointed. I expected something creative and memorable, but this smells almost identical to Pink Sugar, just repackaged. The opening is a burst of sugary sweetness, then it dries down into that same cheap vanilla-caramel cotton candy vibe we’ve smelled a hundred times before, very juvenile. People keep saying how grateful they are that it’s “affordable,” but to me, it just smells cheap, and Pink Sugar does the same thing for much less. All the early influencer hype felt misleading — PR boxes went out before release, and of course, everyone hyped it up. Sadly, this turned out to be my biggest blind-buy regret of 2025.

First, let me start out by saying I love Steven and Raised Spirits is one of my all time favorites. With that said, I am so disappointed with Main Character. To me, it is a basic juvenile sweet, fruity fragrance. Nothing special, nothing complex, nothing different. I get mainly the peach and peony and a bunch of sugar. Its been a while since I have smelled Pink Sugar, but from what I can remember - that's what it smells like. Definitely not worth the price tag even at $75. I am returning my bottle.

This reminds me a bit of Wonderland Peony, but less chaotic, less tart. I would love to try this -- though the cotton candy does give me pause.

It's a YES for me! So, I kept smelling the first few minutes of this, thinking I know this smell from somewhere - what is this? Then it came to me: Aquolina Pink Sugar!! I definitely do like this and want a full bottle! And yes, I also definitely like this MORE than Pink Sugar!! This is a more rounded and refined, smooth version of Pink Sugar with noticeable caramel. Main Character is grown up cotton candy, delicate but not fleeting, pretty and sweet - without being achingly sweet. It projects and lasts good enough for me. I find this to be simply lovely. If you have Pink Sugar and like it, you really don't need this. If you have Pink Sugar and like it, but feel like something about it is "off," try a sample of this. Pink Sugar is more dry, choppy and rough in comparison to this, IMO.

I didn't have high hopes for Main Character esp when cotton candy was mentioned but I still bought it because I love Steven. Got my bottle today and it was as expected, a disappointment. It smells very juvenile and almost like a B&BW body spray. The dry down also reminded me of the scented stationery I collected in the 80's. It's only been a couple of hours since I sprayed it, so I can't comment on longevity. Now, we all know scents are subjective. A lot raved about Oriana and LDBS and I bought it too and was disappointed. Me and sweet candy scents don't get along well. For sure I have learned my lesson by now. I also follow Demi Rawling, and so far, her recommendations have worked for me. Currently in love with Fleur de Peau, Orpheon and Gris Charnel.

The bottle matches the juice so pretty but for now I only have a decant.. it’s a girlie pink flormond. It’s very simple and linear imo but that’s fine sometimes you just want a girlie girl perfume! It’s pink sugar but a bit fancier. I do feel like I’m paying for the bottle. I think the price is high for what it is!? But I do enjoy it,I love the raspberry it’s not overly floral and I love the spun sugar on the dry down!! I’ll buy a fb on Mercari though ot eBay, or something from someone who didn’t love it...for half off. My biggest issue was the price... to me its like a celeb fragrance, it’s not worth more than $50 imo 😬but of course I’m in love with this bottle!

honestly I get a hybrid of Chanel eau de Splendid and Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush blended with a touch of added sugar. It’s definitely not ground breaking or unique but honestly nothing at vivamor is..that house (as well as Navitus) tend to lean on mass appealing DNA’s with minor tweaks. While I love both houses I wasn’t expecting extraordinary perfumery at all sadly. It’s definitely a pretty scent and I would say a great giftable scent to someone who isn’t a frag head but wants a perfume that you won’t find at a sephora or many department stores. Overall pretty and I think scent appropriate for under 100 dollars.

Oh! I honestly didn’t have high expectations for another fruity floral, but this is quite pretty! I don’t get Pink Sugar at all and the cotton candy note affords more of an airy texture than sweetness to my nose (already plenty sweet from the fruits and peony is a sweet-smelling floral to me). Eager to wear it for a full day soon to experience more of the dry down - I enjoy Christian Provenzano’s use of raspberry and caramel (two notes that are challenging for me) and they are present in just the right amounts here. Really well done and great value for this blend and the pretty presentation.

Pink Sugar minus licorice plus white flowers. There is a burnt cotton candy here—like the torched top of a crème brûlée. It was way too floral for me at the first unboxing. I actually promised it to my mom (I smelled the sample they send with the bottle), but I let it sit for a month—it is beautiful and so much sweeter. This is not my favorite fragrance ever, but every time I spray it and walk back into the room, I think “this is good.” I may keep her. Wear this when you feel your prettiest. It is very strong & lasts a long time.

Soapy at first then the cotton candy hits and stays ,has some spices and some light sandalwood and flowers in it, with some buttery accord, but just cannot put my finger on it, after this is just vanilla. Mild projection and moderate sillage. Is a keep

First impression: A classier, more well-blended version of Britney Spears Rainbow Fantasy. [Similar notes: cotton candy, pear leaf/blossom, peony, jasmine, sandalwood]

Have 2 bottles on the way, for the price, I just HAD TO! I have yet to sniff this but it smells like a bougie Pink Sugar, I'm her for it!!! 💕

This perfume has the same DNA and is very similar to RÊVE NIRMALA FEMME, even in the bottle they copied the aspect, collors and shape.

At the beginning I was like: OMG!! This smells so good! 5 min later... I felt robbed, $75 dlls to smell like Pink Sugar 😔
