Georgette

Going by the notes alone, I never would’ve chosen this perfume...honestly, I didn’t expect to like it at all. But I recently received a travel size in a fragrance box and... WOW 🤩 . This is gorgeous. It doesn’t remind me of anything else I’ve ever smelled, it’s completely unique and beautifully blended. It’s slightly sweet, a little fresh, and has this subtle spicy warmth that’s hard to describe... other than just BEAUTIFUL. If I run out of my travel size, I’ll have no choice but to grab the full bottle. A total surprise hit for me! ❤️❤️❤️

My first reaction is its warm woodsy scent yet after a few minutes the rose appears and it becomes super subtle. I cannot pick up the scent much after an hour yet I have received compliments when being hugged. So its a very soft yet beautiful rose and sandalwood.

My nose has tried the rose-patchouli-oud trio so many times that with this one too, like Pavlov's dog, I instinctively said there's oud. But there isn't, it has guaiac wood in it, which isn't surprising (my sample is before re-edition). The rose is very bold and very deep, black, dark roses, and the patchouli is very refined. It never smells like mud... But the thing is, I'm a bit tired of this DNA. The execution here isn't bad at all though, everything is more airy and more natural. There's a barley-like feel, but I later realized that's the tobacco, dry, warm and smoky. Towards the end the rose settles down even more. Despite being tired of it, I found it successful because the rose note is very well done and high-quality. Tag(s): bold rose, woody wose, rose-patchoul-wood trio, airy

Received this in a secret scent box. At first there’s a strong blast of patchouli and woods, but as it settles the Rose and violet become noticeable and it becomes a warm powdery Rose, with a patchouli and woods background. It is peppery, but I don’t get any tobacco and if there’s vanilla present it just sweetens it. The drydown is pleasant and better than I expected from the first spray. Definitely a predominantly woody peppery Rose scent, you have to like Rose to like this. Becomes a skin scent within an hour, and is very soft. The quickest strong to soft change in a scent!

Gorgeously pepper and herby, I would not think of this as "rose" unless I had read the notes. Very natural-smelling, like a wooden cabinet of precious essential oils. Unfortunately it barely lasts an hour on my skin and clothes.
