Black Spice

When I was in Milan, my Italian colleague recommended this brand once he learned that I am enthusiastic about perfumes. He describes this brand as "cheap but very good". I immediately ordered a few bottles after I was back home. I must confess that his description is on point. Black Spice, as its name, is warm and spicy. The performance on paper and on skin is different to my nose. On paper it is rather boring, or straightforward. Cardamon gets most of the spotlight, dry and spicy. After a few minutes I started getting some leather note, which is not listed here. However, on my skin it smells much more interesting. cardamon and clove are still dominant here, yet I can get black pepper and ginger as well. Different shades of spiciness. It brings me to a spice shop in Middle East, with exotic vibe. Then I get something like cacao in the background. The drydown on skin is beautiful. Cardamon quiets down, and the woody notes come to play, which makes a lovely combination. It gets "calm". It is a beautiful perfume for cold days, but not sure if it is office-friendly, as not many people may appreciate the spicy notes. If you ever visit Milan, do not miss the chance to test their perfumes. They are indeed underrated.

Hello frag lovers, tried and buyed this from Milano MXP Airport, a very very nice deep woody-spicy scent with the lingering pepper that lasts at least 8h on my skin, with good projection in the first few hours. I get a bit of a creamy sandalwood with the pepper and cloves doing the job, very good development and amazing price : 55 euros for a 100ml EDP. Worth to give it a try, very underrated
