Tom Ford Neroli Portofino’s broke best friend who still gets invited to the yacht party. Bright, clean and ridiculously easy to wear. This is Zara doing the whole Mediterranean citrus-floral thing way better than it has any right to for the price. The opening is sparkling and uplifting with bergamot and lemon, while the orange blossom + petitgrain combo gives it that classy “fresh white shirt in summer” vibe. The drydown brings soft musks and a touch of amber that keep it smooth and airy. Performance: not amazing. But at this price point, just overspray and enjoy life. Neroli and citrus flowers conjure deep memories of early childhood visits to the local botanical conservatory. Due to the psychological and emotional buoyancy of those joyful excursions, 'A Day' is a winner, faint as it may be. Reminiscent of 4711, but the musks in 'A Day' ground and attenuate the citrus so the brightness assumes a more substantial and lasting aura. Since Zegna abandoned its Mediterranean Neroli fragrance a few years ago, I've been waiting for someone to grab the baton and run. Thanks to Jerome Epinette and Zara for keeping the dream alive and for giving renewed light to cherished memories.

Got this the same day as Celine Parade This one is really good for the price point and I recommend everyone who has a tight budget to buy this perfume. Easy-going, clean, orange blossom, put together and I think the name of this perfume is perfect how it smells. Comparing to Parade this Zara one has a lot more musk, it’s a bit sweeter, it's more fluffy in the base while Parade is more pure neroli and more bitter. Anyway I totally recommend this one even for blind buy!

This is the best Neroli offering at Zara yet – natural and very well blended. There is a warm, ambery touch somewhere that puts this release in Boucheron’s Neroli D’Ispahan territory rather than Zara’s own Fleur d’Oranger or Amalfi Sunray. I prefer A Day Fragrance over *most* of the Acqua Di Parma or Tom Ford Neroli offerings - except for Mandarino di Amalfi, which is perfection to me.

Typical bergamot/petitgrain cologne but very well executed and with a musky woody base to give it depth. Elegant and uplifting, a very safe choice for everyday wear at a very competitive price. A huge upgrade from your average Zara fragrance quality. I hope they keep it up👍

I understand it's a man perfume but I am a feminine woman who loves to wear it. So fresh, clean and simple.

Very similar to Eau de Givenchy 2018 and somewhat similar to Polo Earth. A green, grassy, bitter, slightly aromatic, musky take on the traditional neroli-petitgrain cologne, not particularly unique or original, but quality is really good for Zara and the elevated price reflects that. Performance is also on par with Eau de Givenchy and Polo Earth - nothing to write home about, but that was expected. Overall a quality release for Zara, but considering the price I imagine it will be a tough sell.

nobody saying smells like Bal d'Afrique? smelt it in store and thought so, then found out its the same perfumer. Brilliant frag for what I paid for it - $32 au on sale. Cool bottle too

why does it lowkey smell like wood glue.. not in a terrible way though..

I'm tired of people on here comparing every vetiver scent to Encre Noire; the same is happening here with Neroli Portofino!! A Day has nothing to do with NP. The latter is heavy on Neroli(sweet/honeyed, powdery), and it goes sweet once it dries. A Day open very citrusy, tart and astringent, then the FRESH florals appear. It stays this way for about half an hour, then it becomes floral and woody. It has a soft, velvety, floral quality(is it Narcissus?), but it's mostly woody. If I keep sniffing my hand aggressively(lol) I get a tiny hint of Patchouli!! On clothes, the fresh, green and floral qualities are the most pronounced. The woody qualities are muted, unlike on skin. Overall, it's a very nice take on the genre. Is it "wow"? No. But it's good enough for £35 for 100ml. Just one thing. I went to two different Zara store in London, UK, and it wasn't on display. For some reason, they keep them inside a cabinet behind the counter, so you'll have to ask them.

Citrucy, bright and fresh. With mediocre performance and projection. Reminds me of Turkish hand cologne. Slightly overpriced for such a scent profile, If this cologne smells like Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, which reminds me of a hand cologne, then Tom Ford rips off its clients. 6/10 I still prefer Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Intense Zara.

Got this today as it caught my interest for 2 reasons. It has similar notes to one of my favorite scents Cologne Indelebile by Frederic Malle and i also enjoy a lot of Jerome Epinettes work. So how does it smell? Opening is tart and citrusy but fades pretty quickly and when it dries down its almost identical to Cologne Indelebile! I’m only on day one with this but its perfoming much better than i expected and It smells amazing! I was running low on my Cologne Indelebile but this might actually be a worthy replacement. And no it doesn’t smell like Neroli Portorino.

At first spray, I thought I found the dupe for Eau des sens. But when I compared it side by side. A day seems lighter and citrusy while eau des sens really is heavy on white florals. I think it's smells like a watered down Amalfi Sunray or close to Nenuco. I don't think it's worth the price especially when it cost the same as the elixir of jo malone collection. That elixir line is so worth it for the price. A day easily fades in summer, might use it months later and see if it gets stronger cause right now it's easily fades in my skin.

Typical mall-tier citrus offering that has been done to death by Zara, Banana Republic, etc, over and over again. I was pleasantly surprised by "A Night Fragrance", but this one is incredibly uninspiring. Yawn.

Smells like cheap cologne for grandfathers.
