Dark Crude

Dark Crude that it is very similar to Invictus Acqua 2016 and to Zara Teahupoo. 1) Teahupoo has Bergamot, Grapefruit, Marine notes and Sandalwood as notes. So if your nose is fooling you just compare the notes with Crude and Dark Crude. 2) By the way the notes of Invictus Acqua 2016 are Yuzu zest, Grapefruit zest, Pink pepper, Marine notes, Violet leaf, Gaiac wood, Ambergris and Ambery wood. It's impossible that Crude may be similar to Invictus Acqua 2016 with the notes of Sage Orange Blossom and Vetiver. 3) Ultimate test - smell Dark Crude, Crude and Invictus Acqua side by side. As usual if you try to type Invictus Acqua in the similar fragrances of Dark Crude, Fragrantica does not let you do that. That's how powerfull some designers are with the board of Fragrantica. Believe it or not, you may do it with the Zara Crude fragrance that is not similar to Invictus Acqua. Do to those twists of information, Fragrantica is becoming less and less accurate every day, and I use a lot more a nother competitive software instead of Fragrantica. Keep your scent high!

This scent to my nose had a very sharp mint note. I smelt it in October and I didn't like it. In fact, I couldn't scrub it off my skin fast enough. I nearly got it by accident since it was the package behind Zara Crude for some strange reason. Zara is pretty known for having notes and accords not listed for the fragrances and Zara Dark Crude is a perfect example of such. I have enough of the Invictus clones, flankers and smelt the original enough to know the scent profile. From what I smelt, it was not an Invictus/Invictus Aqua scent. There is a mint accord that is there when you first spray it. To my nose, mint is very hit or miss and this was a total miss. The mint gave it a slight Versace Eros vibe, just maybe more aquatic. I cannot tell you the drydown because I did scrub it off in the Fashion Square food court bathroom, so maybe that is where it turns into Invictus? I wouldn't know since I wouldn't get this due to the disgusting mint open.

@carlosalbertoandradecruz I've just added Invictus Aqua to the similar perfumes above for you. The problem is NOT that Fragrantica is in bed with the powerful designers as you assert - once a member has added something to the "reminds me of" box and (I think) two other members disagree, it is impossible for the original member to add - what is to them - the similar fragrance BACK to the "reminds me of" list. There you go - conspiracy theory dispelled! Happy New Year! Bee x ETA (on 31.12.18) and now it's gone; chances are people who have spent money on Invictus Aqua are the ones denying the resemblance. Just saying.

Fragrantica perfume pyramid is very very unreliable. This scent is not woody. It is sweet, honey like, and besides it has woody notes. Aquatic and fruity and minty also. It is also a bit synthetic, maybe because you cant identify any regular component. Sandal wood??? Zero. It is a nice smell, however not very sexy, appealing. Yeah, it smells like root-beer. (american minty herbal drink). A bit medicine like, but sweet. Top note is green, bitter, I would not say grapefruit though. Probably again, because its synthetic.

Dark crude has a really sweet creamy inviting smell to it, I will admit I wish the projection and longevity was better.. But for the price I welcomed it in my collection.
